Design Process

1. Consultation...
During the consultation we will discuss the scope of the project, budget and timeline. They typically last 60-90 minutes can be done online or on site.

2. Mood Board...
This is a designer’s way of sharing the theme and style ideas for the space. It is a collage of photos that when combined is intended to convey the concept.

3. Space Plan...
Depending on the scope and needs of your project a 3D model of your space will be created as a visual aid. This allows you to see a representation of the space and items in a scaled model to help convey the intended look of the completed space.

4. Purchase List...
This is a complete list of EVERY item to be purchase and a purposed spending threshold for each item. You will have the opportunity to review and make changes before purchasing begins.
If your project includes installation or construction, you will receive labor cost at this time.
Layout must be established, and materials must be selected prior to receiving labor cost.

5. Purchasing...
The fun part! The vision is becoming a tangible reality. Depending on your preference you may be as much or as you’d like or not at all. Purchases can be approved by you before purchase, or your designer can make all or some of the decisions on your behalf.

6. Delivery/Construction/ Install/Set-up...
You will have a dedicated team and a point of contact during this process.
This is by far the hardest part. The deliveries, the boxes, the noise and let us not forget… the dust.

7. Completion...ENJOY!

Your project may not include all steps listed above as every project is tailored to fit the individual needs of the client, space, budget and timeline.
