It's hard not to purchase everything in this store. I want it all!! !   The prices are above average but it's worth a trip.  Ideal if you are gift shopping.  There are items under $30 you can purchase for gifts.   We loved the variety of soaps that were available and our favorite is the "Sallye Sunshine Soap".    I picked up some very small bundle of dry flowers for my desk at work.    At the register everything was put together in bags so neatly and nice so nothing was damaged since we had a lot of walking around and shopping to do.  Very nicely done.  I cannot wait to return. I got a surprise delivery at work from my significant other from Roxanne’s of sunflowers. The packaging was gorgeous, the flowers were beautiful, and as soon as I opened the box I was greeted with the heavenly scent of their complimentary sachet. If I am ever lucky enough to get a proposal from my man who was thoughtful enough to send these beautiful flowers, I’d be seriously considering Roxanne’s as a florist for the wedding. More...

I have been a customer of Roxanne's for many years. Every holiday season it is such a joy to walk into her store. From the moment you walk up and see the beautiful displays outside, you know you are in for an experience. The minute you open her front door you're enveloped with the smells of the holiday season. This year seemed extra special. The store was filled with beautiful wreaths, arrangements, Santas, all types of incense and oils perfect for the holiday season. This place was the coolest! I wish I had been able to take more home, but I'm flying home and cannot take any of the decorative flowers in my suitcase. There are lots of combos of dried flowers that smell really nice and can be a sort of air freshener in a room. A bit pricey but honestly worth it because what she does is unique and a work of art. This is easily one of my favorite places to visit in the city of Pittsburgh. If you have a soul that is moved by whimsy, fantasy, imagination and small patches of wild green things, this is your place! They have a wide selection of small plants for terrariums, during the summer they have an amazing outdoor garden selling unique and unusual plants for ponds and gardens. They are also one of the only places that I have been able to find healthy tillandsias in the city! Roxanne's has become a MUST-STOP part of the itinerary when I visit Pittsburgh! They have beautiful gifts, unique items and lovely selections. My favorite find are the small potted plants and the rotating barrels of make-your-own potpourri which change depending on the season at hand.

Recently I was in the Strip and found a terrific perfume that I decided to purchase. Upon arriving back to Cleveland, I noticed the spray topper didn't release the spray, but rather had it dribbling down the side which caused sticky hands + sticky surface + OVERUSE of a perfume scent! Boy was I disappointed. I decided to give Roxanne's a call, and not only were they willing to send me a new perfume bottle, but they ensured they would test it out before shipment. The new bottle arrived within a quick few days, and I am very pleased with their level of understanding and quick solution over the phone.

There's not a trip to the Strip District that's not completed by a visit to this heavenly shop. The staff are amazing and the interior is exquisitely decorated. The outside has a life of its own and we love looking at all the floral vegetation as well as the awesome water fountains too. This is a treasure for Pittsburgh and I'm glad it's a part of our adventures.

This place is worth a special trip! I'm from out of state and I have already checked out their website and planning on having them make me a custom piece since that is an option! The flowers look so alive still it's hard to believe they are dried and still have so much color! I do fresh flowers weekly which can be costly, I have a faux flower phobia, one arrangement of these flowers and I don't have to change the arrangement weekly, now only seasonally. More...

We came to roxannes looking for some inspiration for a wedding headpiece. After a few minutes, we were helped by betsy, who was willing to bring different items and let us try them. After we decided on what general thing we wanted, she brought down numerous samples and I was able to choose the exact roses and other items that would be in my order. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!  I always love wandering around the Strip and am thrilled I wandered into this shop this weekend.  I had been on the hunt for a less traditional, non-fake looking holiday door wreath and Roxanne's must have sensed my need!  Everything in this store is beautifully crafted and very well thought out.  The prices might seem high to some folks (if you're used to artificial flowers or run of the mill decoration stores) but the price is worth the quality, craftsmanship and uniqueness, trust me!  Excellent customer service as well, incredibly knowledgable and helpful. "They're PRESERVED flowers, NOT dried flowers". I learned that quickly when I was ooohing and ahhing over the amazing PRESERVED flowers. Apparently the store frowns on the using the "d" word to describe their arrangements Whatever you call, they are indeed gorgeous and the staff has all right to be picky about how their amazing selection of floral items are described. Walking into the quaint boutique, I found a store akin to an English garden. With fresh smells whimsical gifts nestled between fresh and preserved arrangements, the store is easy to get lost in. You walk in and are overwhelmed with the beautiful "story book forest" like feel and the smell of potpourri.  It makes you feel like you are being transformed out of the craziness of the Strip and into a wonderland. The small shop is packed with beautiful arrangements of dried flowers, incense, soaps, candles and small gifts. In the back of the store, there is an entrance to their backyard, which was definitely my favorite part of the store. It was beautiful- fountains, exotic plants, gorgeous hanging baskets... really beautiful and relaxing. My mom and I wandered around smelling the flowers and admiring all of the plants. One thing to know and prepare for would be their very high prices.. There were many hanging baskets that were over $100 each. The one item I saw that was pretty reasonably priced and I considered purchasing was a bouquet of dried lavender, for $10. For now, I will continue to window shop, but am looking forward to the day when I have a little extra spending money and can splurge on some of their gorgeous items. More...

I cannot get enough of this place. I'm so excited about Roxanne's I want to bring every friend, relative and stranger here. That's why I turn to Yelp, right?If you have any remote interest in making your home beautiful, this is the place to go for amazing and intricately hand made floral arrangements. From wreaths to potted plants to creations I would never even have imagined could have been made, you can buy it here. Plus, you know how you walk into Michael's, gaze at the fake flowers and think: boy do these look fake? Well here they look real as can be, because they are perfectly preserved flowers, and they are gorgeous. But that's not all, they have a whole array of living plants in the back, beyond the counter and all the beautiful items. There's large plants, hanging plants, small succulents and more things I can't even name. If I could end here, I would, but I can't. Because they also sell hand-made pottery from the owners husband, specialty soaps, lotions and of course, gardening accessories. They say it is better to give than to receive. Well I had the pleasure of both. I received dried flowers from Roxanne's last Fall and when I needed a special gift for friends, I visited Roxanne's for the first time. The arrangements are beautiful and of many price ranges. Variety of wreaths, bouquets already made, and custom made arrangements. Lots of vases and Nic-naks to add to your piece- birds, ceramic pitchers, wooden boxes. A fun place to window shop or browse. Two words: "Potpourri heaven" I love stopping in to this business every time I find myself in the Strip District. The front entrance, interior and back patio look like something out of a whimsical dried flower wonderland. You'll find everything from single stem flowers to create your own arrangements to paper mâché dog heads for decoration. The back patio filled with plants and water features is definitely one of the highlights during the warmer months. Prices can be on the higher side so if you don't find yourself making a grand purchase, inspiration is certainly guaranteed upon exiting the business.
