This was my first official rowing class and Kelly was fantastic.  She ensured our form was accurate to avoid injury and get the most out of the workout.  I liked this much better than spinning, personal taste,  since it engaged your whole body and seemed gentler. The music was audible but not wall rattling    Definitely worth giving it a try. More...

My husband and I joined a few weeks before Row House opened and waited in anticipation to see what we had gotten ourselves into (signed up for unlimited classes, which was a deal). Neither of us had worked out in years and really wanted something motivating, easy to execute (no planning, just show up and work!) and convenient to our home and schedules (busy jobs and a small child). After week 6 of routine classes, we both agree that Row House is that and more! I was sold when I read that the classes were motivating and the environment is inclusive, because, frankly, who wants to feel bad when they are at a gym? However, I never could have imagined how great it would be and how happy we would be with this decision. We trade off days to work out, so we each have different teachers and classes. We each love our classes (I enjoy House and Body and he enjoys Full Stroke and Power) and teachers (Ty, Jade, Nicole, CiCi and Kelly are some of our faves, but they are all good). I am continually surprised at the speed of little changes in our bodies, our stamina and stats in class and so proud of these accomplishments! And the best part is that Row House is proud too! Their team CELEBRATES their members, in class, on social media and when you walk in the door. They are the best! It is also really cool getting the stats after class and being able to confirm that you are getting better - so motivating. If you are interested in a killer work out, which you can adjust based on your fitness level, an inclusive and motivating environment - this is the place to be! rowing is a good way to get moving in a way that allows you to control the level of exertion. I have not worked out in a few years and, yes, it hurt the first week or so, but I kept at it, got massages in between, and I just calmed down on my intensity to allow myself to build up my muscle memory and strength. it is rhythmic and a pleasurable way to get moving. Was completely skeptical about a row class for 45 minutes. Thought it would be completely boring and wouldn't challenge me. I was so wrong. I took Jade's Body class and I'm so hooked. Such a great workout. It's definitely all about what you put into it. A few songs on the rower, a couple of songs with hand weights and then repeat before ending off with an extended race. Love that the coach goes through everything, there's a warm up, there's a cool down, the energy in the room, and the set up! So sore the next day and loving it. Also, when a member hits 50K meters, you get a shirt to mark your achievement. The first class was free; now to figure out how to cycle and row. Definitely can't do nothing but Body classes. If you see me there, say hello and tell me if my review helped you. More...

I have been patiently waiting for MONTHS for Row House to open up! I am equidistant between the Winter Park and Oviedo locations and WP opened first. I joined during the pre-opening sale and got a killer deal on my membership. The gym is brand-spanking new. It's been open less than a month. 25 ergs (I learned a new word...) all digitized so after each class you get an email with your stats. You sign up through an app, pick your erg, and attend a bomb class. There are classes all day, from 5:30 AM - 8:30 PM. There are 6 different types of classes - all include rowing but some include hand weights, some body weight exercises, stretching, and/or HIIT style. There are even classes designed specifically to help with your form/technique and another for endurance. No mater your style, you'll find something you like.Also:- Sheri, the owner, is SUPER nice. She owns both locations. She opened Row House because there was nothing like it, purely dedicated to rowing, in the area. She couldn't find what she was looking for so she built it her damn self. How bad ass is that!? She takes the classes along with this and really cares about her members. - The staff are all fantastic! The lovely ladies at the front desk and coaches are all there to pump you up, keep you motivated, and are super friendly. - I've tried had all but 1 coach so far and each one is great in their own way. Nicole and Jade were there when I signed up and I love them both. Their classes are super high energy and they get you riled up! Releen, Ty, Kelly, and CC are all fantastic! Their classes are challenging and they love calling people out and giving them kudos in class. Seriously, you cannot go wrong regardless who's class you sign up for. And, bonus, these are all people who I'd totally hang with outside of the gym - they are all just that nice! I love their energy, it's infectious. I highly recommend you check them out! I'm totally a fan and hooked! I'm gonna be chizzled in no time! (Prob not, because food, but one can hope!) More...

I cannot say enough amazing things about Row House. The best way to describe it is: GAME CHANGER! We signed up for the unlimited membership before it opened, BEFORE we ever even took a class. We went to our first class last night and it was everything I wanted and MOREEE. I love that we row TOGETHER, just like on the water. It’s incredibly motivating and Coach Nicole literally breathed life into rowing, digging in WITH us. When the going gets rough, she is digging in with us over the microphone, encouraging us through it while the music is LOUD and it’s DARK. All of this makes for the perfect ZONE! Digging into your OWN moment of power, where you demonstrate to YOURSELF how amazing you are and how bad you want it! My husband and I are so into it! We can essentially compete with each other, since we get our stats at the end of every class. We’ve even started a competition through our Activity app on our Apple watches so we can compete on every level. Just another way to keep us hype and ready for every class! We LOVE Row House and are incredibly grateful that it’s in our hometown! Do it! You owe yourself! More...

Just took my first Row House class with Coach Nicole Filian and it was INSANE! My aching knee loved the workout and had no pain at all. The coach explained the correct rowing form and made sure everybody had proper technique. We worked on pace, stroke and power. Everybody rowed at their own intensity but in a team manner (strokes/min). We had body weights as well as dumbbell exercises in between rowing that worked on upper body, legs and core. The class is great for beginners and elite athletes alike. I am somewhere in between and found it challenging and fun. The music, lighting and group energy is at another level. I highly recommend this studio! More...
