What do you love most about your job?
After 30 years in the recruiting industry, including 22 as founder and president of my own recruiting practice, I was hungry for a new challenge. It quickly became obvious that career coaching was a natural fit for me. Helping people advance their careers is incredibly fulfilling and richly rewarding. I only wish I'd discovered it earlier!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I founded and operated an executive search practice for 22 years before getting into career coaching. While coaching was always part of the work I did as a recruiter, it was only a small portion of it. Like many people, the pandemic gave me an opportunity to reassess my career. As a result, I discovered that coaching was my genuine passion and realized that I excelled at it. Once all of that became clear, I decided to close my recruiting business, become a full-time career coach, and have never looked back!
