I am a strongman competitor I am a athlete for Vikings power lifting Savannah GA. Me and three other team members went up there and spent the weekend. These awesome people took us in and treated us like family. By the time we left we felt like we have known these people our entire life. I highly recommend everybody in the Atlanta area to stop and meet these wonderful people. I will be making a lot more trips up there in the near future. More...

Roswell Barbell is not a fitness center, it is a GYM. If you visit and expect to find rows of treadmills and banks of TV sets lining the walls, you will be sorely disappointed.
RBB is a no-nonsense throwback to a bygone era: a temple where hard work is celebrated and all results are earned.
Though decidedly old school in its mission, Roswell Barbell is not a stereotypical iron dungeon. The equipment is very well maintained and plentiful, the entire facility is airy and well lit and, thanks to founder and head trainer Callahan, logically laid out and inviting. Trainers Anna and Luke add their unique perspectives and skill sets and can help even total novices learn what it is to move beyond “normal” to discover new levels of well-being, confidence, and power.
Physical excellence through the building of physical strength is the goal of the staff and the regulars who train at RBB. You don’t have to be interested in competing in one of RBB’s 4 core disciplines (powerlifting, weightlifting, bodybuilding, strongman); all that is required to be welcome is that you be willing to WORK. It is a no nonsense old school gym. People are here to work out and not to socialize. No TV or other distractions. It might not look shiny and new, but the equipment is well maintained and clean. Callahan and Anna are great folks , friendly, and encourage people to work out to the best of their abilities. There are all kinds of people working out here, from young to older folks, and it's a nice non-intimidating environment. Also, you will not find anybody pressuring you to buy training sessions.
