The show is amazing! Definitely worth my Friday night! Hilarious, interactive, and SERIOUSLY magical! I'm still in awe of all the Illusions! Had a great time & the cast is so nice! The view at the Skyline Country Club was to die for! So beautiful seeing the city lit up at night. It was easy to get to and still absolutely breathtaking! I definitely will go again & hope to.bring more family and friends! If you are looking something for a special occasion this is also definitely the place! They have ways of celebrating birthdays and anniversaries that is so special! Highly recommend! More...

People from other reviews seem to like to criticize things but they apparently have no imagination. This little theater avant garde is definitely not what you might expect if you're only idea of magic is a penn n teller special. I've been to a few murder mystery shows and i was not disappointed with this one. The cast are friendly, fun, and incorporate many facets of old time circus/vaudeville/cabaret shows. By that i mean, there are no special effects (other than lighting and soundboard), there is a friendly "traveling troupe" feel about it, and the players really just want to give themselves to the audience in a crazy imperfect way.A bit over the top is certainly important here and audience participation is key.I think if you are some triggered snowflake with no imagination this is not a place for you. This is no place for iPhone addicts. The food was country club standard fare, but I was impressed with the reasonable prices from the bar.The drive over can be confusing, even if Marsha's Google maps couldn't do it right (lol)Honestly, i only wish more younger people would try something different, turn off the expectations of grandeur and accept something different, because that's what Ross and his troupe are trying to do. For the players, it's easy to see that the show is a labor of love, these people are here to entertain you in a classic fashion. Enjoy the show!!! More...

You all know im a mean critic and you all know how much i value customer service and friendly staff...so what kind of review would you expect from me? This is my answer:People from other reviews seem to like to criticize things but they apparently have no imagination. My only criticism is the food because a) this is an Arnold Palmer run country club and i think the restaurant could provide a bit better quality...This Has NOTHING to do with the cast and crew of the Murder Mystery Theater,  And b)the cast of MMT does a better job at wait service than the country club provided bar servers. This little theater avant garde is definitely not what you might expect if you're only idea of magic is a penn n teller special.  I've been to a few murder mystery shows and i was not disappointed with this one. Delicious food and a very funny show! It was a small venue, and it felt personal and friendly! The actors were very kind (I was picked as a volunteer) and funny, and overall, it was a great night.  I definitely recommend it!

My husband and I went to a showing at the beautifully located Skyline Country Club in Tucson.  Right up front I will say that this is not for children, because there are some remarks and one magic trick not for younger audiences.  That is not a complaint, it is a heads up.  The acting and magic were fun and the audience had an active roll in the show.  The food was good too.  I don't know how they made the squash/zucchini medley have flavor.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Please note that this is not a trip to Hollywood's Red Carpet, so if you are looking to harshly pick something apart, perhaps you should stay home.  This was meant to be comedic fun and I believe the actors and actresses delivered.  I would go again, if they decide to have a new plot.  No spoilers here!  See for yourself who dunnit!! Went there for our 33 anniversary. The show was very funny and the magic was incredible! We had great people at our table. My hubby said the chicken dinner was delish. I am vegetarian and was served a veggie dish. It was good but the cheese cake was better. The audience was involved quite a bit in the show. I gave them 5 stars because I really enjoyed the night. One concern... There was a tripping hazard with the stage set up (left corner front of the stage.) We sat at table #1 & watched 3 or 4 people trip over it last night, heading to & from the restroom I suppose. The staff were very mindful, & took extra care to step out, & walk around this area. Table #1 is a great table for involvement as far as the show. The food was good, not great 4/5. The staff/ entertainment was phenomenal! I loved how the cast also served us our food as well. The entertainment was definitely more "slap stick & silly". I expected it to be more serious because of the swanky ambience of the entire restaurant, but definitely not disappointed. My hubby thinks it's a bit pricey for the small area in which the show was confined to upstairs. Towards the end of the show, they ask for separate gratuity for actors and drink servers. The drinks were nice & stout. Overall, we had a great time. More...

This was a fun show with friendly actors. Some of the other posts here made them sound pushy, but we did not experience that at all. The humor reminded me a lot of Gaslight Theater here in town. The food was typical hotel food (chicken breast, potatoes, veggies), and there was a cash bar available for adult beverages. We got a great deal on admission during a September birthday promotion, which was nice. More...

Instead of going out of town, we decided to do something different for my birthday this year. Certainly not run of the mill, it was a fun experience. The venue was beautiful- gorgeous view of the twinkling lights of Tucson from the restaurant. I've never had an occasion to visit Skyline Country Club & was pleasantly surprised. Nice drive through gate and up to the clubhouse restaurant was relaxing. Seating was not crowded, good view of the small stage. A cash bar was available as well as complimentary coffee, tea & lemonade. Very friendly staff/actors & fun atmosphere. The show was goofy & happily interactive w the audience. I think getting the audience to participate made it worth every penny. The food was standard hotel fare - nothing outstanding, but tasty.I was lucky in the dessert department - instead of getting the thawed mini cheesecake, I got a fabulous & generous slice of decadent chocolate cake w a birthday candle on top!  Enough to share w hubby. All in all, a fun way to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommended for people ready to laugh & have a good time. More...

This was a wonderful show. The actors were fabulous. I loved the audience participation aspect. Although I wish there had a been a few more magic tricks. The only complaint I have was that the food could have been better for what I paid. The main course was just chicken, a scoop of mashed potatoes and a few veggies for what seemed like presentation appearances. The desert was plain cheesecake which I feel they could have provided some fresh berries to go on top. The salad and bread was delicious. The interior is lovely with stained glass and a gorgeous chandelier. More...
