I was looking for a unique sofa, something with unique design elements and colors, to add to my living room. I explored several furniture stores around the twin cities (Slumberland, Macy's, Hom) and didn't find anything that really jumped out at me. I had bought a few lamps and an end table at Rosenthal's previously, and based on my previous experiences there I believed I would find something enticing. I returned to Rosenthal's, and Gabriella helped me survey their options and determine what would respect my budget. With her help I found a sofa made by American Leather with magnetic adjustable back cushions, and another sofa from a Scandinavian company, both with unique designs, and very comfortable cushions and arm rests. The sofa from the Scandinavian company would not have been ready for approximately 4 months, so I decided to go with the sofa from American Leather with magnetic adjustable back cushions (6-8 week lead time). As of writing this review the sofa has been in my home for almost one month, and I am very happy with my purchase. This second generation family owned business specializes in contemporary furniture and accessories. We had a special order sofa delivered, but were not happy with the dark tacking. Rosie and her staff were responsive to our concerns, and worked with the manufacturer to find a solution.As a result, we were able to have the sofa returned to Rosenthal, and then order another one from a different maker. I'm often overwhlemed when it comes to decorating, making changes, and purchasing large items but Deanna made it all so fun and easy. She set aside several hours over the course of a few weeks for us to meet and was prepared with options every time. I need help making big decisions and Deanna was SO helpful. Even when we had to start over due to size limitations in my dining room space, she immediately moved us into some new options and didn't miss a beat or lose patience w/me at all. She was always fun and pleasant and I started to look forward to meeting w/her each week. the personalized care I received made me feel like I was important to her and redecorating an entire house vs. just purchasing a new dining rm table set! The staff have helped me with design and placement even making special orders to fine the right piece needed. I have always received the best follow up service. Always a joy to visit the store. Over the years I've been able to add three beautiful and comfortable chairs to my home. Mother's Chair is a big hit anyone who visits. Last year during the annual sale I added a fabulous sofa table and piece of art. This year it's a dresser and accent table. By far the BEST furniture buying experience I have EVER had! The owner, Rosie, went above and beyond to get us exactly what we wanted. I had a design vision and searched a very long time to find it. Only one company made the product that was exactly what I was looking for. I was elated, only to find that my leather color had just been discontinued.
