Spectacular! I'm glad I made the road trip for the first time. I parked in the back lot so my first impression was the huge colorful Tulip field. I arrived at 11am on Sunday and crowds grew while I was there. I took so many beautiful photos of the display gardens my phone went dead afterwards. Whoa. Just absolutely amazing. These guys know what they doing! We got so lucky to come on a dry weekend! We absolutely loved this field! First of all, they were organized from start to finish. They had parking ready, with men and flags. They kept everyone safe walking on a busy road. Then the line to get in went quickly, I think doing cash is the smart way to go, with exact change. It was $7 for each person. Military and children under 5 are free.

BURST OF COLOR!

It's actually so amazing. I'm not just bull sh*tting here. They have such a variety of colors it's unbelievable. We walked about the fields for about 3ish hours. Then another hour or so just in the gardens. It's such an unbelievable experience.

I also want to say, take note of the tulips in the garden. They have magazines you can take for free to order bulbs! Either take a photo of the name or circle them. 10 bulbs for $8-10ish depending on the type. You can even order some in bulk. They also ship, so no worries about having to lug dirty bulbs home.

My only other advice, get there around the time they open and you will be so happy you beat traffic and the crowds. A towel is also a wonderful idea! More...

We visited during the week and parking was accessible and the people direct you well on where to park.

Loved visiting yesterday with my 2 & 4 year old granddaughters. Perfect weather and we knew to come early. Had not been in a while and loved the new plantings and the wide open grass spaces for them to run on. We did not go into the fields as they really are not old enough yet...but there was plenty for them us to see and photograph. More...

We always visit here almost annually and i am always in awe every time. It was my son’s first visit this year and even an 18mos old would agree that this place is really awesome. I had the pleasure of visiting near the end of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival this year. The display gardens and fields were absolutely stunning. After several visits to the state, I am so glad I had a chance to visit. I have my bulb catalog and expect to place an order in the next several weeks. I am very sure that an extreme amount of work goes into making the grounds, gardens and fields so organized and gorgeous. I would LOVE to visit again. Keep up the great work!! More...
