Rockman's Catering

Rockman’s catering provided the dinner and bartenders for our barn wedding this weekend. They were great to work with, helped us set a menu that was delicious and within our budget, and quickly and professionally answered all our questions. Definitely recommend them!

We had Rockman’s for our passed appetizers at our reception. They had a large amount of food options and even created a custom app for us at our tasting! Everyone at the reception loved the food - the stuffed blt tomatoes are amazing. They were very professional at the reception, dressed nicely and very polite. We had Rockman's cater my sister's wedding 5 years ago, it was a no brainer to have them cater my wedding. They DID NOT disappoint. I honestly have never heard so many compliments on the food, not only that night or the next day but weeks after. Scott was so amazing to work with - I had a lot of questions, requests, and opinions which he helped with every single time. I wanted to lower the cost of the overall price for dinner and he showed me different options on how to best do that. We needed bartenders and they provided them - which were great that night and so was the wait staff. I supplied my own alcohol and soda but Scott still helped me determine how much of everything I needed. I wanted certain decorations to go on the table to display the food for dessert and appetizers and they displayed everything beautifully! I would HIGHLY recommend them for any catering you need!! Rockman's catered our wedding of 70 people in Tomahawk. We had a grilled cheese station and taco bar and they were able to make the entire process stress-free. They took care of the champagne and the cake. The initial consult and food sampling was very comprehensive. The staff at the event were prompt and very attentive to our guests. I wanted to thank you and your staff again for the amazing service and food last night. My brief interactions with the staff were excellent. They problem solved extremely well when we needed a last gluten free sandwich at the end of the meal when there wasn't much left to make sandwiches, but pulled two great sandwiches together for our guest! The set up and take down was quick and efficient, and my family (the hosts) was extremely impressed with the professionalism and genuine friendliness and enjoyment that your staff exhibited. I got so many compliments about your team and the quality of the food. Everyone got their meal within 45 minutes (so impressive since it was a grilled cheese bar!), pie and ice cream were served efficiently, and the bartender was such a gem. We are lucky to have had you cater our wedding- the communication we had in the months leading up was superb and didn't leave me with any worries, despite me changing my mind about things and then adding quite a few more guests in the last weeks, and the day of the event was obviously excellent. Rockmans Catering was perfect for our wedding! Our venue was on a family farm in a tent with electricity from a generator and no running water accessible. Despite this, our dinner flowed flawlessly and the food was delicious. We went with a pig roast (German style) to fit our venue and we got so many compliments from our guests. Really wonderful from beginning to end. Rockmans catered our outdoor wedding of 160 guests (plated). The tasting was free, and Scott Rockman made sure we thought through every detail. Scott and everyone else at Rockmans (we also worked with Allyssa) was professional and extremely accommodating. Here are some highlights:-we changed our minds a thousand times and they were ok with that! Really quick to reply.-accommodated gluten free, dairy free, and soy free requests for a few of or guests-no extra charge to travel from their location (Plover) to our venue in Marshfield-we did not feel nickel and dimed, really great value-provided bar tender and let us provide our own alcohol and coffee -- they were totally fine with us using as much or as little of their services as we wanted. They don't lock you into using only them or their products for catering. -their catering costs include the linens (not extra)-really fast and efficient at serving our 160 guests-food was amazing. We got a lot of compliments.Overall Rockmans is a great value, very professional, wonderful to work with, and highly experienced. Rockmans was the caterer at my daughters wedding.  The servers were professional and had a sense of humor.  You can tell they liked their jobs.  Our bartender was super nice and knew how to take care of us.  The food was fabulous.  I had many of our guests comment on how much they enjoyed the food.  This caterer is one class act.  I would recommend them to anyone!  Keep up the good work Rockmans! Rockman's was really good. I wanted a Kenyan-American Menu and they blew our guests away. Many people said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Scott was very responsive in answering my requests and many, many questions throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, his service team was receptive and professional. The food was delicious as well. To be absolutely picky, some textures were a little off probably due to using instant ingredients or different grains, but for someone who has never made the Kenyan dishes in bulk before, of course I will let it go!
One drawback were the bartenders-I caught them serving alcohol to underage guests. Maybe they didn't know those cocktail had alcohol or they didn't care, but that could have ended up very badly...

Still, I would use this company for every event I need catered if I could. More...

You always want amazing food at your wedding with wonderful service, with Rockman's Catering you definitely get both. They did everything we wanted plus offered us more.

We went with their two entree premium buffet dinner for our guests plus they served kids meals to the children at the beginning to help their parents get their food. This really helped the flow of the dinner and getting everyone through the line quickly.

Coffee and milk were included with the cost along with all serving ware. We payed a small fee for them to cut and serve our cake.

Our guests were wowed and really loved the wild rice stuffed chicken and the pecan encrusted salmon. A few were even pumped that they served the leftover macaroni and cheese from the kids meals. :)
