I wish I could give the stars in minus. Went to this restaurant , since I was eagerly looking for authentic Indian food . But not at the price of quality . I ordered Biryani which clearly showed all color and chicken tikka gave me a food poisoning for next 3 days . Where , the search for great food took me to this horrible ambiance destination and the service left me with no words . Severs were really in the hurry however it was only quite an evening. I always have had a great experience with this business until recently. I placed an order over the phone, and Humika took the order. I specifically asked for Schezwan Chicken noodles and yet received fried rice. I called the restaurant, told them what happened, and they said someone would call me back in two minutes. After half an hour, I got a call, and it was the same person, Humeka. She started by saying that she listened to the recorded call and you confirmed the order for the fried rice. I then asked her if she heard me saying or ordering fried rice on the call anywhere, and she said no. When I specifically asked for the noodles, I asked her why she would confirm for fried rice? If you didn't hear me, then you should have asked me to repeat my order ( which I did twice, by the way, but she still confirmed for fried rice), yet she still went ahead and confirmed the fried rice. She said, "Well, ma'am, since you have already confirmed the order, there is NOTHING we can do. I told her that you could trash the fried rice or do whatever she pleased, but it was useless to me. She did not once apologize for HER mistake and tried to put the entire fault on me. When I questioned her, she started making up things like, my voice was too low, she couldn't hear me ( Which I could also say when she confirmed the order), etc., etc. I was not even asking for a refund. All I asked was to rectify the order so I could come to pick up the correct order and return the wrong food they gave me. Horrible customer service! They do not admit their mistake or show a single percent of courtesy. They are forgetting who is the reason behind them getting paid, CLIENT! Recently get to taste some food from this restaurant, it was horrible and experience was really bad. It was on our friends recommendation to order food from this restaurant. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as we experienced very bad hospitality from the owner/manager on accommodating our request for three separate checks for three families of four. She was rude and unprofessional and made a scene in front of other customers versus managing the situation as a manager would have. Would make up a story that the robot they have can't accommodate for three separate families and has to be one bill with a mandatory gratuity, mind you the owner/manager was very unprofessional. She took it personally versus thinking out for the customer and business, as the restaurant just lost 12 people from eating there.The restaurant was also dirty and requested the table to be wiped down, which never happened. They seem short staffed.Main concerns around how she managed the simple situation.If they can't manage the hospitality and cleanliness of a restaurant, what else at the restaurant is also mismanaged? We placed a catering order from this restaurant, and the preparation of the food was awful. You can not chew or eat baby corn Manchurian as the quality of the baby corn inside it was very bad. The food was either raw or the ingredients inside it were of poor quality As the food was not edible, we called the restaurant and told them about the food. Instead of trying to understand the situation or being apologetic the manager simply asked us to bring the food back to the restaurant for a replacement. We told him that we are hosting a party so we can not come but since it was their mistake, they should arrange for a replacement. He arrogantly denied it and said the best he can do is replace it without being concerned that how will it work out.The next day morning we decided to take the food to the restaurant at least to show and get the refund. The staff agreed that it was not prepared well and quietly took it into the kitchen to avoid any bad promotion to their restaurant. They asked me to leave so that they can discuss it with the manager and said they will call us in 2-3 hours. We requested them to sort it out then and there only but they said, the manager is not available and they can not decide on what to do. I asked to call the manager or if I can wait for some time but the staff said it will take 3-4 hours (Probably they wanted me to leave the restaurant so that no other customers get to know about it). The staff was polite at that time.Instead of 3 hours, We got a call in just 30-40 mins from another staff member who asked me to order replacement food, with some restricted items. We denied it and told them what is the point of ordering now as the party was last night. The discussion turned into an argument as he was not ready to pay back for that poor-quality food. We mentioned isn't it a stupid suggestion that you are asking us to order food for catering order on the next day of the party? Also, I don't feel safe eating food from this restaurant now. Finally, the owner/manager named Bhanu calls us back. Within minutes of the call, he clearly said do whatever you can do and started using abusive language and disconnected the phone instead of trying to understand and sort the situation. We've been here few times, but the experience today was pathetic. Had prawn mixed up in the vegetarian dish. We called for a babycorn manchurian , more than 50% of the portion was inedible and also noticed a piece of prawn in the dish.

Love the food here! I seriously can't get enough, now the waiters there recognize me no Indian food restaurant in the area has lived up to Rock N Grills food. They do get very busy for dinner time so I would recommend getting there no later than 6 cuz after that it gets really busy. I like going for lunch cuz it's nice and quiet during that time. Bruh! I love Indian food but this joint is popping. Food is seasoned and robust. Had 4 items from this place. Chicken lollipops, Tikka chicken and some other things (don't remember) they were all outstanding. Even had this yellow grits/pudding substance in which I didn't even know what it was and I still smashed it. Gonna go back and try more things but for now, this is my Indian spot.Negatives was that you're gonna be waiting to order and you gonna wait to receive your food. Service is very good. Food is aromatic and tasty. this restaurant is often packed. A lot of vegetarian dishes. But for people who cannot eat any spicy foods, even their "mild" spice level dishes are too spicy for me. Worst service ever seen!!! First they gave a buzzer and told us to wait, but the buzzer never buzzed in the said time, so had to go in and ask. That's even fine when compared to the way they spoke when the manager came and asked if everything was fine at the table. We didn't like the goat biryani there but said remaining dishes was good, but the manager was not ready to accept any constructive criticism which they asked for. She immediately started to say how people scam them for refunds online by saying food quality is not good, which was insulting to me in the present context. They told they would check with the chef but never got back. Finally I had to ask manager multiple times for check and no one bothered to come to the table for more than 20 minutes.I have been here multiple times last year and the food there was really good back then, but now looked like some change in staff went and I am never going to that place again!! Went with my 13 y/o daughter on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful experience. The food was great, the servers couldn't have been more friendly and recommended some things to try. This place was so busy, they had multiple catering vans and constant pickup and to go orders. The seating was wooden and not cushioned but plenty of seats otherwise. Chicken was very tender and seasoned especially the pepper pan. We used to come here a lot when we first moved to the area and it was great service. But not anymore. They get so busy that they can't keep track of the guests for dine-in. Party of 3 came in after us and got seated before us. They got their food before us. After we asked if there was an available table to the lady working the front desk the male comes over and goes "talk to me not to her" and then argued that we were wrong- the 3 person party had a reservation. Ordered chicken curry (kozhi varutharacha curry) today evening for take out. It was cooked with clove in plenty and was too spicy. I tolerate high spice level but this was too much for me as well. I had selected mild spice level for the order since my kid cannot eat spicy food. It was such a terrible curry and we had to separate chicken and eat it. I drove all the way from Hutto to pick the order.Updating response to Bhanu here since I don't see an option to reply:It was not about my liking of spice level but food was not eatable. Bad bad bad service.. none knows whats going on they all trying to be so advance that robot is even lost that what they are doing to me. . no communication between kitchen and the staff none knows what's cooking. We went on a slow night but the service was amazing. The server was so sweet, she got everything we asked for. Food was fantastic as well, got the chicken tikka masala spicy. Only negative honestly is I wish i got the extreme instead of spicy. I just like spicy. I will say this is the best Indian restaurant in the Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown and Cedar park area. We tried Rock N Grill for the first time tonight. The food, service and all the folks there wer just fabulous. We tried vegetarian items, Paneer Biryani, Paneer tikka kabab, baby corn Manchurian we're just amazing. The food quantities were really good too. The staff was extremely friendly and they were constantly entertaining our little one and he had a great time as well. There was a robot serving food and it was awesome! Situated in the heart of round rock is this lively Indian restaurant. Initially, everything was going well - we got seated quickly and were given a 30-min expectation on the wait for food. Good heads up.The pros: the appetizers arrived quickly. We quite enjoyed the crispy, dry chicken lolipops and flavorful mango lassie Bonus points from us for having halal food. It was really cool that they have a food delivery robot (pictured). There is a wide variety of food and spicyness options.Cons: Our waitress was helpful in giving us recommendations, but was mostly absent outside of taking our orders and delivering our food. This place is busy and it feels like the wait staff is shorthanded. The overall hygiene of the tables and environment could be improved. The worst part of our experience was when we found a cooked fly, halfway through enjoying our lamb curry. We did get this dish comped by the manager and they did offer a fresh dish, but we were ultimately unable to continue our meal there.This occurrence may be an anomaly, since this place has otherwise glowing reviews. We took our American friends to Rock N Grill looking at the great reviews. Our visit was not a 5 star experience:1. Service was S L O W, we waited at least 20 minutes, before we finally decided to go and get our server to take our drink order2. Samosa were cold3. More wait for server to take our dinner order4. Ok. We have been here multiple times and loved it but this Saturday was lack luster. We asked to move tables since there was 2 small children screaming, coughing and complaining they are sick. The man behind the counter said it was fine and we could sit anywhere. Then waiter came over shorty after and very rudely said we could not sit there and that we needed to go back to the other table. So, we waiting for a table to leave and moved to another table. Apparently he was done with us and we got a female server who was very nice. Next would be the menu which the raised everything by a dollar. I understand this about the entrees but the naan was also a dollar more, that doesn't make any sense to me. My wife called to see if they had a buffet for lunch. The lady stated that they did. we arrived and there is no buffet at this location. this would automatically tell us to leave. but we take the chance and sit to try there food.The server we got rahul, I believe his name was. he was very good. slight of a language barrier but he got us what we needed. as we are waiting they have some t.vs to entertain you. some cool indian music videos (which are always quite delightful). the food arrived and BAMMM... so freaking good. Planned for a party of 8. We got there and were seated immediately. We placed an appetizer order within a few minutes, but 25 min later, only 1 came out. I had to go ask where there others were and still not placed a dinner order. Was asked to wait a few more min. The rest of the appetizers came out but were cold. We placed the dinner order and waited another 35 min before going to ask where the food was. Then just 1 entree out of 8 came out. Went back up to ask for a refund. We visited twice and loved the food both times! Big portions hence a little pricey but totally worth it! We ordered 3 butter naans, 2 curries, 2 appetizers and 1 hyderabadi chicken dum biryani and the bill came ~$95 and 4 of us ate to our stomach full and still had take outs.
