Rock n glam salon

For the last few years my wife and I have always struggled with getting our son to feel comfortable getting his hair cut. He doesn't like people touching his hair to the point of it being very traumatic for him and being very heart breaking for us . After having SOOO many bad experiences I tried Rock N Glam on a whim and was so happy. Angelina took the time to talk to our son, ask him what his name was, asked him what he wanted to do with his hair, let him touch everything to see it wouldn't hurt him and even told him to hold her hand when he was nervous. They didn't rush the process along. They had so much patience and not once was he scared or uncomfortable. I don't know how they did it, but now my son is excited to go get his hair cut. I can't Express enough what a amazing job Angelina did on my hair. I had a horror story from hell with my hair. I Went to a handful of other salons over the years and they left my hair in worse conditions than it was. Not Angelina, she knew exactly what I needed and what I wanted. I have been here twice. I've had a brow wax and haircut so far. All of the girls here are amazing!I recently moved into the area, so I've been looking for new salons to go to. I came for an eyebrow wax back in June. I started talking to Candice about how often I should be waxing my brows , and she said it all depends on the person. I feel like alot of waxing places, they always recommend 3 weeks so that you continue to go in for their services. So I appreciate that she said come in when I felt I need a wax.I got a haircut last week. First of all, I'd like to say, it was the first time I've ever had a stylist point out where my part is and stick to cutting my hair with my part the way I like it. Candice is awesome! there have been countless times in which the stylist has asked me how I like to part my hair p, and completely disregard what I said and proved to give me a middle part. Trust me if I could rock the middle part I would.In stark contrast to a certain salons near by, I live that this salon isn't pushy with products or services. I got a Groupon for a Shellac mani and pedi and I made my appointment before seeing all the negative comments. I went in today feeling a bit worried, but there was absolutely no reason to be. This was my first trip to Rock n Glam and oh my goodness, what a great experience! Angela did a beautiful job with my headful of highlights and lowlights! She worked quickly and achieved gorgeousness, all the while chatting and making me feel so comfortable. It's such a cute little place and was nice and cozy on this cold day.
