WHO AM I
WHY HIRE ME
I am a Portrait, Event and Landscape Photographer based out of Honolulu Hawaii. I originally started taking photographs as a mission necessity during my deployments to Iraq. I have spent over 20 years in the military, 16 on Active Duty (Marines and Army) as an Infantryman or Systems Administrator (0311, 11B, 25B) and I am currently an Army Reservist. I truely believe that being in the military and travelling the world has helped me grow as a person and as a photographer. Those small details that are quickly missed or forgotten have managed to become my focal points.


I believe the simplest things make the most impact and nothing captures those smallest details like a good photograph. The brightness in a young child’s eyes, that expression of excitement as they smile. The love for one another in a glance or a touch. These small things linger in fond memories, why not capture and display those sentiments. These small simple things are easily lost to time, let me capture those fleeting moments for you and your Ohana


My photography is simple. I don't use multiple lights or hoards of equipment. I like simple, the most you will see me with is a digital camera a couple of lenses, a singular flash and maybe just maybe my trusty 35mm film camera. Yes, I am one of the rare photographers who still use film. I also develop my own black and white film-a tradition that has almost been lost in this digital world.
