If I could give them no stars, I would. I brought in 4 tax returns for family members and myself last spring. I ONLY received one return back to review.
I PAID for that one return that I got back. I can even show you a cancelled check from the bank that I paid them.
I kept calling Robert Hall last spring asking for my other 3 returns, they kept telling me that they would do them. I never got the other 3 returns back. I kept calling for my other 3 tax returns. Two months passed and I got nothing back for my other 3 tax returns. I turned all my information in back in February so they had enough time to do the other 3 tax returns. Their accountant Candice seemed uninterested in doing my other 3 tax returns so I went to someone outside of Robert Hall Taxes and got my taxes done with another accounting firm.
Now it is November and they actually sent me a bill for all 4 tax returns. Keep in mind, I already paid them months ago for the one tax return they finished. Candice their accountant never even gave me a draft of the other 3 tax returns to review or look at. How can they even send out taxes to the state or federal when they never give you a first draft to look at? Do they just put anything on a tax return without your approval or your chance to even view it? I'm angry.
It was a hassle trying to get my taxes done on time going to another accounting firm. It was very stressful. Why should I file an extension with an accounting firm when I turned in all my information in February???? THEY are the problem.
The real slap in the face is when they bill me months later in November for 3 tax returns I never saw and never received. They ALSO neglected to give me credit for paying them for the one tax return that they did finish and that I ALREADY PAID them for months ago!
Last spring I also asked them to transfer me to another accountant and they told me that they would NOT do that. They told me that I had to stick with Candice but she wouldn't do my other 3 tax returns! They told me to wait until next year for another accountant.
As far as I'm concerned, there is NO next year with Robert Hall Taxes. Candice really dropped the ball.

Solid advice by experts who are available almost all the time. I would recommend them to anyone I’ve been going to them for about seven years now. If you have questions make sure that you purchased the $75 plan so that you can ask questions during the year it’s a bargain. Jay Kim has been helping me for years -- I used to bring a shoebox of disorganized receipts, but now I'm prepared with Excel spreadsheets and totals. I love how knowledgeable he is, and how painless and (surprisingly) enjoyable he makes the experience. Real camaraderie. not sure if it's been 12 or 15 years but each & every time ( Michael Watson or Chad Mosley ) have handled my business corporation taxes as well as my personal taxes so professionally & courteously, I walk out of there feeling most grateful & with a total sense of security & accuracy.
