I had been studying Human Design on my own for several months. I asked Cathy Rivers if she would give me a reading at the deeper level of Variable and she agreed. She not only provided me with the Variable reading, but also shared with me at least six things about my own chart that were rather unique that I hadn't known about, as well as several other aspects of a more general nature that I also had not heard of. If you have ever looked at Human Design, you know that it is fascinating and multi-layered. I attempted to learn it on my own with a book (Cathy lists resources on her website) and a chart generated online. I did grasp a superficial understanding of my chart but what really put the work into motion for me was having a private session with Cathy. Cathy broke it down for me in digestible chunks with many good examples to illustrate the information. She also provided wonderful little nuggets for implementation. It's juicy! I began working with Cathy when I was unemployed (after being a tech entrepreneur for 11+ years) and overall have worked with her for the past several years. The work we did initially around my human design provided me a "window into my soul" to better understand who I am, what makes me tick and why I act certain ways in day-to-day life. This work propelled me into getting the highest paying job I've ever had in my life with a global technology company. Essentially, I went from food stamps and a food pantry to being able to provide very well for my family. Cathy is so effective, not just by her knowledge around human design but for her connection with people, her loving, caring and sometimes tough words and her complete commitment to your issues, concerns and success. I have had the opportunity to receive one of Cathy's Human Design sessions. What a revelation! I so appreciated learning things about myself that I had suspicions of but gained a newfound freedom when I could "live in" them, knowing that this was my design and a good thing.
