We ate here after wandering around the park one morning. The staff was super friendly and quick to suggest a sandwich for the both of us. We went with their suggestions! I had the special of the day, which was a wrap with pineapple and bacon chutney, turkey, greens and mozzarella cheese. My boyfriend had the French dip, which they make with beef tenderloin. We were here competing at the Skyhoundz World Championship 2019 and stopped by like we do every year... this year, I tried the Guac Chicken Wrap and OMG SO good! !! Stopped by on Sunday morning on our way out of town! Glad we did! The owner was wonderful and made a custom sandwich for our GF daughter - he really wanted to hear what SHE wanted  specials are to die for! In all my years of living in Chattanooga infrequent in the North Shore, somehow this little Jewel escaped my view.The place is authentic Bronx as they come. Or New York, I can't really remember. How much is a massive, I could not finish what I had and I'm fat boy.The only downside this is really nitpicking is that if you are not familiar with what you want, it can be a bit confusing. Some of the breads are tougher for some to chew and if you're not familiar with the ingredients or what goes in the sandwich, there aren't any pictures to help you.I doubt you will regret what you get, but make sure you understand what you're eating before you get it. the service is great the people were really nice and the food was most delicious I had the Ruben me and my friend shared it it was enough for the both of us we got a side cold salad I had the bowtie Italian and she had Greek cold salad I would recommend this to anybody that comes through definitely they use boar heads meats and cheeses

Must go to lunch spot in Chattanooga. Probably some of the best sandwiches in the Chattanooga area. The staff are always friendly and greet you right as you walk in. I've enjoyed the specials including the Stromboli sandwich. At the busiest time the food is still prepared very quickly and the longest wait I have had was maybe 5- 10 minutes.They have a pretty big variety of sandwiches so there is something there for everyone - including gluten free and vegetarian options.The interior isn't anything fancy, it's pretty plain, however every time I have come in it's nice and clean, and the tables get cleaned right away.As far as drinks I believe they only offer beer as it is a lunch spot. I lived in Chattanooga for 5 years and was lucky to find this hidden gem on the lower level at Coolidge Park. This is the only place in Chattanooga that I would be heartbroken if it closed down. This is literally a one-of-a-kind place! EVERYTHING is fabulous. I get the Elena Ruz on most days.. but the specials that he has are always to die for..!!! The Stromboli.. OMG! Even the salads (chicken ceaser) & the cakes/pastries (baklava, cappuccino cake) are exceptional. I didn't want to write a review on this place bc I wanted to be selfish and keep them from running out of the specials before I get there..but these guys deserve their credit!! This was an excellent surprise. Had breakfast there today. Fresh bagel, cream cheese, in-house smoked salmon, capers, tomato and onion with a fresh cup of coffee. The food was fresh, the salmon was out of this world. This restaurant is more NY than some of the NY restaurants! It's a small place, with a ton of local people. Most of them knew the owner when they came in. Its the kind of place you eat at every day. Their refrigerator case had a varied selection of meats and fish for take out as well as eating in.
