Very nice old Italian place where the staff wear black & hats. My veal was delicious as was chicken picata. Big bar area. Nice place not overpriced.

I would actually give this place 4.5 stars but since that's not an option I am rounding up bc overall It's a very good place. First, the decor here is really nice as is the atmosphere. It is a nicer place but not stuffy - it has a friendly and upbeat vibe. Everyone is very friendly and the hostess who greeted us was really welcoming and very nice. My husband and I decided to eat at the bar which is also very cozy and well-decorated with these neat murals hand painted on the walls. The food was above average and not too awfully expensive by Naples standards. The apps averaged around $14-$15 and the entrees were mostly in the $20s with some in the $30s and maybe a couple below $20. I had eggplant parm & a side of pasta alfredo...it was good but the Alfredo was on the bland side (a little salt made it delish!). We had an app of fried calamari and it was great - very tender (but also required salt for our taste). We were served plenty of bread which we appreciated - just a minor issue in my opinion is that for an Italian restaurant I would've expected better bread (just nondescript rolls, and not warm) but this is a minor complaint. The bartender who served us was very friendly and attentive during our entire meal. For dessert I had a frozen parfait of lemon gelato which was swirled with limoncello liqueur - this was amazing and I would come back again just for this! If you like lemon you will LOVE this. They also had a female singer in the bar area - various 70s & current pop hits. I have to say she was extremely good and added a lot to the overall upbeat atmosphere - a couple of people got up to dance which was fun. I would recommend this place and we will definitely come back when we are in Naples next. More...
