What do you love most about your job?
Collaboration with business owners!! We absolutely thrive on the relationship aspect of what we do...that may sound funny coming from an accounting team, but it's true! We love getting to sit down and brainstorm about ways to improve the business and make your accounting processes more efficient.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Accounting is in my blood...my family has been in finance and accounting for the last 50 years...so on some level, this was inevitable. But it was my natural wiring to coach, consult and collaborate with people coupled with a driving need to have things in order that drew me to start Right Column Financial. I was also amazed at how many people either didn't have their books in order or weren't using their financial statements to help make critical business decisions. Once I started seeing the huge need in this space we were off to the races! So, at the end of the day, that is what drives me and my team to continue to do what we love!
