While the caregivers were fine, the scheduling staff for Right at Home in Aiken was horrible. 3 times in 2 months they were no shows or had to send "new" people that we had to train on my dime. What's the point of having a caregiver if you have to show them what to do and pay for the honor and privilege? One time the scheduler just flat out lied to me telling me the caregiver had called too "late" the night before to let me know she wasn't coming. Is 8 PM considered too "late" for you? Then the scheduler "overslept" the next morning and "forgot" to schedule anyone else or let me know no one was coming. I was 4 hours away at a conference depending on these people to get my dad up, showered, his diaper changed, dressed and fed breakfast. Fortunately, my husband was not with me, but had to leave his job to go do what I was paying these people to do. Right At Home charged me $55 for 2 hours while only paying the caregivers $9.50/hour. On multiple occasions, lastly on 11/10/18, I had warned Right at Home about the danger that a former employee could possibly cause an elderly patient due to her previous criminal record and known drug use. This warning was not taken seriously by the local branch, nor the central office. This Friday, 7/19/19 is the arraignment hearing for the theft that was committed upon an 84 year old woman on 10/24/18 and widely reported on in local news media. More...

My family recently had the pleasure of working with Right At Home to help provide care and assistance to my father. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly helpful and compassionate and specifically we dealt with Pat and Marie a lot and they were just the kindest most caring people. They would call just to check in on our father even when we had to suspend services, just because they cared. They also were so flexible with scheduling the initial consult and the hours/shifts that would work best for my father. I hired a companion for my 85 year old mother & just happened to call my mom to find out that the companion wasn’t at her house. I called Right at Home right away and was told that I was on ‘the list’ of people to call to let me know the companion had been fired. Why wasn’t I called immediately when they knew there wouldn’t be someone at my moms the following day? I asked about a companion for the following day & got a phone call at 4:59 pm telling me no one was scheduled yet for the following day - I cancelled the service and will never recommend Right at Home - More...

Would not recommend the Right at Home in Omaha Nebraska. The workers at right at home in Omaha Nebraska don’t care anything about the caregivers that take care of the clients. they get mad when your kids are sick, they get mad when you have a car wreck, they get mad when an emergency happens, they get mad and they will take you off all of the shifts and they will use that against you in your future shifts. so if you have a child do not work for right at home because they expect you to not have any kind of life and not have any kind of emergency that comes up if they have open shifts . they want you to take the shift you can’t say no If you can’t work that shift they get mad and if you don’t pick up that shift they get mad. if you want your family to be taken care of do not let them go to right at home they are cheaper for reason. thank you More...

Right at Home has been assisting my dad since September 2018 at his independent living facility. Their assistance has allowed him to maintain some of his independence and that is greatly appreciated. The owner of one of the franchises in Alpharetta, Ga sent us a caregiver who was abusive to my husband. She left him in his diaper and pajamas until 5 pm and did not feed him until 3 pm. She went through my financial papers including bills, SS statements, Medicare statements, and bank statements. She also stole food from me. I have her on camera doing all of this. The owner of the franchise defended her actions and said he saw nothing wrong with her actions. Now my daughter is dealing with another franchise owner in Woodstock, Ga who has been unresponsive, deceitful, insensitive, untruthful, and rude. She has been using this franchise for 3 years, but the new owner is horrible. The so called training provided by the parent company is obviously not working. I guess it's just difficult to turn a jerk into a nice person. The development team needs to pay closer attention to who is buying the franchises. More...

an official there stalked me on Facebook and tried to start a relationship with me and my daughter.. I refused.. dealt with thieving caregivers aswell, also filed complaints on that because my mothers pain pills were stolen. . and to top it off when my sister filed a formal grievance on the company 24 hrs later we have adult protective services at our door telling my mother their was a report filed of me hitting her and yelling at her. we are in utter shock that a company would falsify a report let alone slander my character. they have been removed as our mothers in home care agency, I hope nobody has to go thru what my sister my mother and myself had to deal with More...
