This is probably my favorite food truck in Tucson as its a great alternative to a taco. They are typically outside Hotel Congress (Sat & Sun nights), Crooked Tooth Brewing and Tap & Bottle. However, last night we had them before the All Souls Procession on the lot across from the Mercado. More...

By far the best Venezuela food that I have had in Tucson. The Arepas are fresh and are a crispy wonderland of both taste and deliciousness. The empanadas are delicious (not as good as my mom) lol she made me say that, but it's a good displacement from the pizza and burger scene that you will find in Tucson. Try the Arepas, empanadas, Cachapas, and the specialty plates are amazing!!! More...

They catered our reception at a park for 50+ people. They were super nice in helping to run food and orders back and forth between the parking lot and the party area, and many guests commented on how fantastic the food was. We didn't hear a single negative or neutral comment about the food, even from people who do not typically branch out to new foods. Recommend them very highly. More...

I saw these guys at a local distillery recently, and both the pork and beef arepas (like a fried Mexican torta) were delicious.  The beef was better, though, because it came with beans and plantains, but the pork was beautifully cooked.  The avocado-cilantro sauce is amazing and I couldn't resist dousing my sandwich heavily.  When we finished, I asked the employees if they could make my next arepa with pork, beans and plantains, and they said, "por supuesto!"  So, that's what I'll have next time.  I'm following this food truck on FB now, so I can find them easily. The heavenly smell of roasted arepas drew us in at a recent event at Hamilton Distillery, and the arepas were stuffed to bursting. I coveted my partner's beef arepa because his came with roasted plaintains and black beans, and while I loved my pork incarnation it suffered from loneliness. The avocado/chile sauce spiced it up a bit, but it needed more oomph. Ricuras' trucksters are actually from Cuba so the delicious melding of these two cuisines is a bonus. Next time I'm going 100% chachapa! More...

I really enjoyed my first pernil arepa last week. The arepa was crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, filled with a mound of pork. The hotter avocado and cilantro salsa worked best for it. I also enjoyed a side of plantains, so sweet I could have eaten them as dessert except that I put salsa on them also. The slight vinegar flavor of the salsa created a delicious sweet/sour effect. I'm now checking out your locations! More...
