Been coming here on and off for the past 2 years with my boyfriend and the foods always bomb. I've brought my parents here, his parents here, or friends visiting from out of town, etc because the foods so solid and there's always a great beer variety too. Like Palo Alto's Tarte Deco on tap? Shut up and take my money lol. Boyfriend and I stopped in last night for the $5 wing wednesday special and OMFGGG our 3 wing plates were out of this world. Korean BBQ was my favorite I think, but so hard to pick because all were good. Did that flavor plus Buffalo and Bacon BBQ. Honestly I finished up our leftovers just now which is what tempted me to make a review finally. On non-special nights we always go for the Yardbird (fried chicken sandwich). I can't remember if they still have the Fried Pickles and Cheesecurds on the menu anymore but those were always one of our go-tos as well.Only mini downside: pretty sure they don't take American Express cards. So many great times at this place it is finally time to hit them with a review. Food is alway on point and the beer selection of by far the best in the neighborhood. Stopped by this place randomly, although you can tell it's one of those spots that regulars go to often. Really like how spacious the layout feels and how chill and laid back the vibes are. The bartenders are so friendly and great conversationalists. I predominantly went to eat (LOL as always) and had the Mac n Cheese and just downed a Cannoli because why not. Cannolis are life. HAHA.The Mac N Cheese is bomb (those bread crumbs tho), but I've definitely had better Cannolis (although it's probably my fault for ordering a Cannoli at a mf bar haha). Ordered delivery through Yelp moments before the kitchen closed which is always a crapshoot at any restaurant. My order arrived in 20 minutes and was proper. The house burger was delicious, the cheese properly melted on the brioche bun, bacon crisp and tasty. The burger itself tasted of grass fed quality and was cooked medium pink just as I ordered. Great spot! Came in with my husband just before 6pm on a Thursday night, seated ourselves at a table in the corner. Took advantage of their happy hour, we had the spicy mango habanero wings, truffle prosciutto Mac n' cheese, truffle parmesan fries, and split a burger. My husband had a beer and I drank a cider. Really cool, calm and rustic vibes in this place.  Huge variety of beers and equally enjoyable food.  If you're coming in the evening just keep in mind their kitchen closes at 11.  IPA's are pretty good, especially their Russian River IPA or their Drake's. In all honesty this would be a 4.5 star if that was possible, but for Richmond Republic I'll definitely round up. I came for lunch with a friend and our two babies. We were able to sit at a table and perch the babes on a bench, and the changing table in the bathroom was appreciated. The '90s punk on the stereo was loud enough to make me feel like I was in high school again, but not too loud for conversation. Our server was knowledgeable about what was on tap and I was excited to see a robust sour list. I had the Yardbird chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit dry and the piece of chicken was much smaller than the bun--thus minus 1/2 star. However, the flavors of the pickles, coleslaw, and chipotle mayo were great and the fries were on point. I really appreciated the kitchen accommodating my friend's food allergy, and cutting my sandwich in half on request to make it easier to eat while holding the baby. I've been here a few times and it's a decent option for drinks and booze, though it is very loud and can get packed. So maybe not a great date spot, depending on what time of day you go. The menu has a ton of options, but I usually go for the sides. I love the Brussels sprouts, not too burnt, not over steamed. Perfection. First time I came in, I was randomly walking down Clement one afternoon and I saw the sign for the lunch happy hour ($12 for a burger and beer). Went inside and was blown away by the perfectly juicy medium rare burger I had and the ice cold pint of whatever I drank that accompanied it. Came back probably a week later and had the same deal. I've been back a number of times since and unfortunately haven't been able to re-experience that high from the first couple times. Unfortunately the food (burgers, mostly, as that's apparently all I eat) seems to have regressed back towards average with each visit; still solid but not as mind blowing as that very first time. Solid beer rotation will keep me coming back to eat my way through the expansive food menu and try to find the next diamond in the rough. And if they're still doing that lunch special, that's hard to beat. Sat upstairs most recently, it's a real bummer that nobody will take your order up there. This is by far my best go to sports bar they have many craft beers on tap, and the food is awesome I always get service with a smile. Nice rustic kind of vides throughout.  They have a wide variety of beers on tap, best of which are their IPAs. You should definitely try their Russian River Hops! But the food is probably their best quality.   My friend and I both got burgers and then split the Mac n' Cheese. First timer!! Over all experience was really good. Didn't have a beer but I will next time!! Walking in I saw someone eating the Mac n Cheese so I had to try it. Ended up here after a hike with a meet up group. They reserved the top floor for us which was cool because we had a group of around 30. I got a sour beer called plum fairy. Love the ambiance of the place. Super cooool and definitely millennial bar. The space is spaced out wide. The cross hatching fence on the walls is reminiscent of early age poop fences or walls. First time coming here, and I really enjoyed the burger they had here. It was a bacon burger and beer combo? I believe which is a pretty good deal, of course you get to add on, so I went ahead and added avocado. I was already buzzed when I got here so the burger was delicious and helped me out a lot. Came here with a friend on a weeknight to watch a Warriors game. This place is pretty spacious but it can get crowded at times. We were able to snag a shared bench though. When we came here, there were servers walking around to get your food and drink orders so you don't have to keep going up to the bar. They offer a huge beer selection, from bottled beers to beers on tap, and also wine. They serve food here as well. Me and my friend came in on a Wednesday, and they had a Wing Special, 5 wings for $5! We got the Korean and Lemon Pepper Wings, perfect compliment to all the beers we drank. I would recommend the Sonoma Springs Midnight Secrets Nitro Mocha Stout if you are a fan of Guinness. This a great place to come grab a few drinks and hang with some buddies or even go on a date maybe. Not a place to turn up, but a good place to chill out. Haven't seen a good friend in four months and I knew the NBA opening night was yesterday so I told him to pick a food place where we could watch the game (I didn't watch at all, but he did so that's all that matters). He picked this place that he regularly frequents since he lives nearby. We walked over and stayed there for an hour to catch up:We both got a beer, two tacos, and shared a plate of bruschetta.-The tacos were really good (and yesss: two soft layers for the taco shell).^ It was also Taco Tuesday there that night.The bruschetta was really good too and I got that with mozzarella cheese. -I got a cider: French Currency Cider - Other Fruit9.1% ABV  Mission Trail Cider Co.  Bradley, CA  Plum jerkum, barrel aged in french oak with black currants.^ I ordered #4 on the menu and it was super good.. They also have one other cider here and it's a dry cider. I picked this one based on my preferences. If you like more of beer taste: I think you should order their other cider. I ordered take out. Two American Burgers they were delicious! Perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. The Garlic Parmesan fries and an order of wings. Also ordered the Fried Brussel sprouts. Guess what the food Arrived early and it was still Hot, even the fries were crispy. I can't wait to go there in person. Until I do I just placed another order for Take Out.
