They showed up on time and provided termite services as previously arranged with the inspector.  Everyone I dealt with was very nice and wood repairs looked good. My reason for only 4 stars was that they seemed overpriced compared to previous quotes I got awhile back.  I chose them anyways because I did not want to go through the whole quote process all over again (waiting around on weekends etc. ) and also because they provided construction/ wood repair along with the chemical service so we were able to use one company for the entire project which was a plus. We needed a termite inspection done ASAP before selling our house. I contacted Richland and they were very accomodating. They got someone to our home the same day. Sal showed up on time and was very thorough. He explained what needed to be fixed and the best way to go about getting it done within our time schedule. I used Richland for Termite repair and fumigation.  They provided good customer service, responsive and were informative. Sal was the inspector and he was awesome, very approachable and knowledgeable .  Sal's customer service staff who set up the appt and details were great especially with calling back within 24 hrs. The price was a bit higher than we budgeted for but went for quality and long term over the other quotes I received.The repairs look good and havent seen any signs of termites thus far.  I even recommended them for my sister's house. After offering on a fixer upper house, our real estate  agent arranged for Sal from Richland to come out on a Saturday. He did a VERY thorough inspection and found we had an active infestation and structure damage which falls under Section one. Tenting! Argh!The process has several steps required, but Stefanie in the office explained it all and arranged each part for me. Mission accomplished. Every one we worked with was prompt and efficient. During our inspection, Sal saw the disrepair our outdoor laundry room was in. Previous owners had added on, and the roof wasn't water tight so it had  leaked over the years. Sal went above and beyond to price materials for a redo, which I really appreciated. We have too many other to-do's and with our limited budget, we had to pass. His efforts tho were so appreciated and above and beyond. Their warranty is also good for two years, when all I've seen is one year from other companies, so another plus. Great local company. Booking for an appointment was easy and they were very accommodating. The inspection was very thorough. They really spent their time looking through everything. I'd say the time spent was close to 2 hours. There were a few areas of concern on the property so multiple inspectors came to inspect. The company is honest and straightforward in my opinion. They give you a reasonable offer and you decide to go with them or not. We ended up going with a different company because we were offered a no brainer offer due to a family connection. Highly recommended!!! I was looking for a termite and wood repair company for my town home that needed to be treated and repaired before our painting cycle began. My wife and I recently hired Richland come out and do a termite tenting for our house. It had been a long while since we had our house tented or inspected and knew that we had termite damage in several areas. Joe, our inspector, came out and did what we thought was a fairly thorough review of the home and explained to us what kind of treatment would be needed for our home. We felt like we had a good rapport with Joe so we were leaning heavily towards using Richland after our session with him; however, this was only our second quote so wanted to get an additional opinion. When we had a third company come out to give us a quote, that company did go an extra step and noticed that we had subterranean termites under our home. After receiving that quote, which was higher in price than Richland's, we called Joe at Richland back and explained to him what we discovered from the other company. Joe then offered to come back out to check out under the house. I am not sure why he did not do that in the first place but he was very eager to come back to check it out. When he did return to go under the house to do the subterranean inspection he did confirm that we did have termites under the house as well. After Joe left, we got a call back from Richland matching the price quote of the other company so we decided to go with them. The actual tenting and fumigation process was free of hassles. They explained to us what we would need to do in terms of prepping our home, they came at the time they said they would and the job went off without a hitch! Having selected a yearly  maintenance program, an inspector from Richland( Albert Owen) is terrific! Albert not only inspects the perimeter of your home, but also inspects the attic, as well as crawling under the house! If he suspects any termite activity, he indicates where , and a crew from Richland usually the following week treats those same areas! I was referred to Richland Termite by our normal pest control company out of concern after finding several termite swarmers in our yard. Albert came out next day and did a thorough investigation of our property. I've been procrastinating about doing the termite work on my house - I know there's an issue in the garage. I got a referral to Richland and wasn't sure as I'd never heard of them before, however, I trust the source, so I gave them a call. Stephanie answered and was professional and efficient and got me an appointment right away. Joe showed up right on time, was extremely knowledgeable and confirmed what I'd been worried about - termites were on the move and not just in the garage... Joe showed me all the evidence and patiently explained the who, what, when, where and why of dealing with termites. That evening received an inspection report along with a fair quote for the work that needs to be done. I had a subterranean termite problem in our bathroom and called around to get quotes.  Richland was one of the few I called for free estimate and eventually selected them to perform the work last week because not only of their high Yelp rating but also the inspector that came out to our home was very thorough and  described how they plan to treat it.  Price was very reasonable for the amount of work described.  I have other quotes for the same type of work that costs at least a few hundred dollars more.  The actually service was at 8:00 AM and to be honest I was expecting them to be late since its 8:00 AM and I have never seen a serviceman on time especially appointment was early in the morning.  Sure enough, they came on time and finished the job by 10:00 AM.  They even performed beyond the work that was originally described in the estimate to appease me.  Thank you Richland.  If you hear faint clicking noise (like faint mouse button) at night behind your walls, its time to call Richland. I left a message Sunday morning 1/8/17 and they called me back 8:30am Monday 1/9/17. I missed the call and called them back. Stephanie said someone will be here between 930am-10am and Todd was here just before 10. He said the termite droppings were just along the wall where they were found luckily no where else. Good termite inspection done by Owen and identified additional areas a previous company I hired did not. Was also able to spot areas where rats were able to get inside the house and arranged it to be blocked. The person who came to treat the termite though fell through my ceiling while treating the attic as he did not place his foot properly, but immediately called the company and arranged someone to come and repair the ceiling in about one hours time. I was very grateful for the immediate fix as I was internally freaking out though calm on the outside.Will definitely get the company back again to do a fumigation treatment. More...

After reviewing all the reviews on Yelp, I decided to give them a try.  I needed a termite inspection after I found droppings in the garage.  Albert was the inspector who came out.  He was punctual, professional, personable and kind.  Knowing nothing about termites, I didn't know what to expect.  But, no worries.  Albert took the time to explain to me the signs to look for, the remedy,and the repair process.  Luckily for us, after inspecting the attic, Albert found no sign of termites.  But he is going to provide estimate for local treatment for the garage door and repair of the damaged door frame.  I will keep my eyes out for the signs and when it comes time to tent the house, I know who I am going to hire without a doubt. We remodeled our garage about 9 months ago, and yesterday noticed some termite droppings.  I called Richland Termite and Todd came by my house the same day.  He said that they were subterranean termites and we could inject an odorless foam in the wall that the termites would then carry to the nest. This company was one of a few I called for a termite tenting estimate. I arranged a date for their staff to come take a look at the property and Stefanie called me the same date with a reasonable quote. I loved that they handle the arrangements with the gas company and all I have to worry about is preparing my home. My property is a rental property and Stefani answered all the questions I had for her. I picked Richland due to their reputation in Yelp and their close proximity from our home.Our house has not been getting any termite treatment for around 7 years, so it is due for a major work. The overall experience is as good as their reputation. Albert came for the free inspection on a Saturday morning. We had a little communication hiccup as he gave me too much technical credit while I knew nothing about pest control practice. No problem, my husband was able to understand him better. Albert did a thorough inspection, including the attic and the garage. The quote came 2 bussiness days later. It was so detailed and include a diagram with treatment codes. I was too busy to call them back. Allison called a few days after the quote was e-mailed. I drilled her with procedural and material questions. She was very knowledgeable and thorough. We decided with local treatments, front siding and garage door siding change to get rid of dry rots and fungus, and some sign of termite residue.Service day: Hector, Matt, and Arnold took about 5 hours to do what seems to be a very extensive work. They replaced the whole garage door with a whole new one (not just the siding)! They are pleasant and professional. More...

I would give this company 10 stars if I could.  I called several companies that I found on yelp.  Some charged to come out and inspect and some didn't but since this is a 22,00sq ft warehouse, Richland seemed to be a better choice.  They didn't charge to inspect the building and they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment in 2 days versus one week... (I learned that it's termite swarming season in LA-gross).  Todd came out and basically identified that we are seeing drywood termites and we are seeing them due to weather changes.  Todd was friendly professional and straight to the point.  Says he could charge us over 10k to tent the place and shut the office down for days and that it wouldn't make a big difference in what little we had been seeing in the office.I also had to contact the office where I was assisted by Stephanie - so refreshing, best customer service ever!!!  It's just helpful to know that there are excellent companies out there in the midst of mediocre ones. :) More...
