Food was pretty tasty and came fast. Great friendly service. LOTS of black pepper FYI so I'll just make sure to ask for a little less next time. Everything was cooked well and tasted fresh. More...

My wife and I took our 4 children here for dinner before a movie. We have a few children with severe allergies and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about ingredients and even made a few simple accommodations that made it safe for our daughter to eat there. I was impressed with the staff friendliness and responsiveness on a busy Friday night. More...

I ordered the Thai Yellow Curry vegan style, substituting the rice for noodles. The staff was very knowledgeable, asked if I was vegan and informed me the noodles were cooked with oyster sauce but they could use soy sauce instead. I was very happy and surprised with how knowledgeable they were about veganism. Everyone was very kind and personable. The food was delightful! More...

This month marks my first year of stay in the US (I'm Filipino), and if I remember correctly, Riceworks was my first taste of an American restaurant. I was already expecting that what they'll serve here is more like an Americanized take on Asian food, and I was proven correct. Though it's not necessarily a bad thing. I was here before I tried all the other Asian restaurants in Meridian. The staff were nice to me (but this can be said about any other restaurants here in Meridian. It's an American thing. Restaurant staff are just generally nice). I think what I ordered was Shrimp Teriyaki. If you're a foreigner like me, you'll need to get accustomed to these three things about how food is usually served here...1. The serving size is big.2. The taste is on the less salty side. 3. Forget about authenticity. Riceworks fit the three criteria. And I would later find out, most Asian restaurants in Meridian are like this. And maybe in the entire US as a whole. So I'm writing this to set proper expectations. The shrimp teriyaki has broccoli in it. I'm not exactly sure how they cook it there in Japan, but this is just a common ingredient in any Asian restaurant here in the US. Well, the good thing is, broccoli has a more neutral taste to it. It does not affect that much the taste of the meat (shrimp). If you're going to order the Bulgogi beef meal, just don't expect it to be presented the way Koreans do it. This restaurant just don't do it that way. At the end of the day, I won't complain. The serving size is big and I feel full when I'm done. This is way better than spending on a popcorn before watching a movie. Personally, if you'll ask me about my personal recommendation here, I'll recommend the Shrimp Yellow Thai curry first, followed by the egg roll. The Yellow Thai Curry is a very important item. Not a lot of Asian restaurants here in Meridian offer that coconut plus curry flavor. The shrimp goes well with it. It's Riceworks' meal that you don't readily find in any other Asian restaurant here. The egg roll benefits from being served in a larger size than the usual Vietnamese egg roll it is based in, which I believe is actually smaller. It just tastes more fulfilling, even if there's nothing fancy with the preparation. Though do take note that you're most likely going to be full already with your main meal order. I doubt if you can still eat the egg roll after, but if you're going to share it, you can finish the two orders. If I'm not mistaken. Riceworks is the only Asian restaurant here in the village (I haven't tried Kona grill yet to make a judgment). If you're Asian like me, I suggest you try this place out before watching a movie in the Village Cinema. It would be kinda impractical if you visit another Asian restaurant first before going to the Village. It would just be impractical. The nearest ones aren't really that near. More...

Price and quantity of food is great and I was surprised by how much meat they put on the plate. We got a spicy chicken bento style box that came with meat veggies and rice. Honestly the veggies were so good, I would have been ok with a little less rice/meat to have more. If you're looking for fast food in the village I'd recommend this place. More...
