Always my "go to" place for pizza delivery. Sometimes it's just dang near impossible to wait until 5pm for them to open so I can call and order my usual. Just really good ingredients, thinner crust, nice sauce...maybe not the best pizza in Charlotte, but it's good enough for me! More...

It was really good. The food was incredible, a little pricey for the portion size but it's not like your getting Olive Garden quality. UPDATE 5/8/22Since covid we have scaled back dining out and Riccios is actually the ONLY place we order delivery from! The food is so good, equally important is that it's always consistent. We always get a fettuccine with pink sauce and a med pepperoni pizza. Just so good!! The food is always super hot when it arrives and I also really like that the bag is stapled shut so you know it hasn't been opened.Riccio's has become our go-to for pizza and pasta. We've had delivery 3 times now and it's amazing how PIPING hot the food is when it arrives! We've had the pizza and I typically get the tortellini with alfredo sauce or spaghetti but today tried the fettuccine with the recommended "pink" sauce... sooooooo good! Love this place and their food and even their delivery is spot on! Never disappoints! PS do yourself a favor and get the garlic knots. Heaven! More...

Worst calamari ever! Insanely rubbery which usually means not cooked at right temperature, flavorless, undercooked, cold. Chicken parm and pizza are good. Sadly I let them know it wasn't right and never heard a word back. Guess I'll stick with Portofino, they're a little more in tune with making sure customers are satisfied and food is great there. Well hidden down a residential street and into a business center is Riccio's It is a very small and on a Friday Packed restaurant. The food is very good. I did not like the fact that it was crowded and not much space between the tables. But I ordered the Veal Piccata and it was the best veal I have had in Charlotte since I moved here from Chicago 16 years ago. Portion was not huge but the flavor just perfect and incredible. I was surprised that with a 24.00 entree that no salad was offered, I did get a side of pasta with a great aglio sauce.
