I flew in from the Portland area to hang out with some friends coming through on tour here. Couldn't have been a better experience. Venue was nearby a Starbucks/BBQ Restaurant, as well as a 24hr Shari's across the street. $15 Lyft ride from Boise Airport.Security was extremely understanding and cognizant of the fact that I flew in, but had AAA, so I could go in and out of the venue (I had visited the gym next door as well). They asked to look inside, which was fine. Venue staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The sound was exceptional. Everything was dialed in to perfection. Better than some venues in Portland/Eugene.Green rooms were clean and accommodating. Lots of comfortable couches, outlets, and lighting.Main lounge area backstage was really great - incline press area, pool table, cold hospitality fridge, etc. Back door went straight to buses/bandwagons. I've come here since I was around 16 for Chance The Rapper before the venue was too small. I recently went for Hippie Sabotage. I've gone to festivals and concerts for years now pretty much living on Fremont street in Vegas. This is the only concert house that does an excellent job with booking the right amount of tickets with security detail. The security is not rude and gives you a lot of chances without letting kids run rampant. Drinks are a little on the spendy side but this isnt a bar. Audio is good and the speakers are placed well enough that I'm not leaving the venue with hindered hearing. Thanks for making me feel comfortable and making me feel safe while I'm at your venue. The entire experience is far better than Taco Hell Arena. More space and a better layout than Knitting Factory. On par with indoor events at Idaho Center. Bar lines move quickly—and Brogan is an awesome bartender. Easy, free parking. Good acoustics. Lots of open space to move around. I go to a lot of concerts, and I can say with confidence that the Revolution Concert House is the best venue for shows in Boise. The acoustics, sound, and light effects are great and well-run. They don't oversell tickets, so there is room to breathe. It's always nice and cool in the building. It's clean - including the bathrooms, which are huge. Also, the drinks are not terribly expensive, and the bartenders are quick and polite. Brogan was my bartender at the Flaming Lips concert, and he was super positive and efficient. He also presented an itemized list of drinks purchased to each person as they paid their bill. I observed Brogan being tolerant of people who'd had a bit too much in an easy way that didn't even come off as annoyance. Well done, Brogan. And well done Revolution Concert House. More...

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a 5* rating. I just saw Brit Floyd (sober) and the sound was absolutely INCREDIBLE! ! The lighting and visual aspects were on point as well. I will definitely be back to this venue as often as my wallet allows. The beer selection is quite limited, would be great to see more local brews in there. The bartenders are really knowledgeable and offer great (delicious) suggestions when you're indecisive. Some food options would be great as well, even if it's just through the local next door restaurants. 5* for cleanliness, sound, visual, service and pricing. I will most definitely be back! More...
