How to express the proper gratitude?
I am not sure I can, but I will try. Last night was pure perfection. I have never had more fun or been more relaxed at an event in my home. I am usually a wreck: racing around, taking care of everyone and missing out on all the fun and conversation. Last night you created a resplendent domain in my home. Everything looked sparkly, dazzling, festive and beautiful. The food was absolutely extraordinary. From the healthy hors d'oeuvres to the glorious dinner (the ladies were swooning as each dish came out) to that perfect, gorgeous vegan cake. The evening unfolded like a glorious piece of theatre.
Everyone has already called gushing about wonderful everything was.
