Came here for a manicure exactly one week after the French manicure from hell (this was a manicure does elsewhere...not at Renu) started chipping on me after 3 days while I was on vacation. Krystyna did a great job on my nails, which I picked a dark purple Dazzle Dry color.They really strive for a clean and sanitary environment here. Tools are kept in an autoclave and all buffers, sticks, emery boards, etc. are either yours to keep or tossed at the end. I also like how there is never any skin-to-skin contact between you and the nail technician. The nail techs all wear latex gloves and lotions are applied through plastic gloves that your fingers poke through.I mean, you do pay a bit more here than your standard strip mall nail salon (my Dazzle Dry manicure was $24.00), but the environment is very nice and having pleasant staff that aren't screaming at each other in a foreign language and knowing the tools haven't been used on a hundred other people makes it a small price to pay.Based on how my nails look now, I would come back here. Came here for my birthday and it was magical. My mother and I got the package that includes the manicure, pedicure, hot stone massage, and facial. I left feeling like a new born baby. Soft, happy, and glowing. The facial included a hand and foot massage. Spectacular. I've never felt so pampered. The manicure and pedicure was done using a quick drying paint to prevent smudging during our other treatments AND it lasted longer than any I've had before. No chipping? I was thrilled! Excellent and friendly service, I'd recommend this place to anyone who is celebrating a special occasion or in need of some self care. Update: Wow. The owner called me personally and apologized for this woman's behavior. Explained the situation and now I feel 100% that is a 5 star place. Unfortunately, some staff can make or break your business and he is fully aware of the weak link at his establishment. Jack, thank you for the honest phone call. We really appreciate you taking the time to call and apologize. We will give this place another try in the near future!--------If the owner is reading this, I highly suggest you train or fire the older blonde lady with shorter hair that works at the front desk. She was super rude, was obviously only concerned with when the place was closing and not the customers. My husband and I went in for a couples massage and were not told ahead of time that tips could only be paid in cash. When I mentioned that she says "it happens and we close at 5 so..." (Our massage ended at 445). We liked the 2 ladies we had for our massage. They were very friendly and the only reason I have this 2 stars. Once finished, my husband goes to run to the bank next door and get cash while I pay. The lady looks right at me and claims "they didn't pay!" Obviously she paid no attention to me an hour before or she would have realized I was his wife. I said "I'm right here, I am paying". No apology just more rude bahavior. Definitely will never go back to this "high end spa". Suggest taking your business elsewhere unless you enjoy being treated like you're at Walmart. More...

Over the years I've been going to Renu for a variety of services with mixed results. I was hoping that under new management there would be greater consistency with pleasing results. I went for a manicure and, first of all, I found the technician to be rather aloof, and, second of all, my manicure lasted less than a week. I would hope that the technician would remember that this is still a service industry and I would like to be treated in a friendly and kind manner. More importantly, however, is that the manicure lasted only about 4 days before the tips of my nails started breaking and the polish was chipping off*update- I did go back for a Dazzle manicure done by Maggie. I wanted to say thank you to Edyta who helped me fix my back. Back in November I was in a car accident. Due to my car accident, I went to therapy for my back for four months because of the whip lash that occurred during my accident. Because of my terrible back I could not sleep at night, drive, workout, sit in class nor carry my backpack. I thought because therapy didn't help my back nothing would. My mom recommended me to go get a massage done by Edyta... and let me tell you she is a miracle worker. By my first visit with her I got my first night of sleep in months. She is not only a good massager but she truly cares about everyone. She wants to give everyone her all. She gave me tips and instructions on what to do when I go bed and what to do when pain occurs. Edyta did whatever she could and took her time to help me. By my second visit, I was able to go for a run and workout and drive without having my back giving up on me. Be prepared to be pampered beyond your wildest expectations! The new owner, Izabela, was nice to invite me back for a complimentary treatment after a not so good experience with the previous owner. Izabela is the most amazing Esthetician I have ever had! Anyone who has a had a wax treatment knows it can be extremely painful but she made it very pleasant. I have gone to Rēnu Day Spa under new ownership and I couldn't be more pleased! I was welcomed by an amazing front desk that was willing to answer all my questions and give all their recommendations. I got a massage by Edyta, she is by far the most amazing massage therapist I have ever gone to. You leave feeling relaxed, and your body feeling free. Edyta has a passion for massage therapy and it shows with her work. I chose her because I was told she is the most certified, such as reflexology, reiki, Thai yoga. She is the most recommended massage therapist and I strongly stand by that. I will never go to anyone else. Along with the amazing massage, I treated myself to a facial with Izabela. Let me say, she is amazing! Her presence, her professionalism is outstanding. I didn't know too much about facials and what would be best for my skin, she talked me through every step on what she recommends and what would work well with my skin.
