The spirit of Anthus was alive long before it was a sign on a building. Shanna delivered my last three babies. The care and dedication during each pregnancy/delivery was outstanding. She’s passionate about her calling and it’s been a gift to everyone she meets. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to walk through or entrust the journey of pregnancy with. When Anthus became a reality, it became a gift to all women. It fulfills the need of community and fellowship and offers providers that are experts in their field, with passions of their own. It brings women and mamas together regardless of what kind of birth they’ve experienced. It’s truly a special place that’s been a huge part of my life even after childbirth. Anthus is such a gift to all mothers in the Permian Basin! From the amazing boutique to all the services they provide - birth classes, prenatal workout class, doulas, counseling, dietician, functional health, photography, midwifery, pelvic floor therapy, sonograms, lactation consultant, community events - there’s something for every woman! It’s a such a beautiful space and has created an amazing community for mothers. High recommend checking out their events and services! Anthus is a wonderful place providing holistic care for women. I've used Shanna for both my pregnancies and cannot say enough good things about the midwifery model of care. Having Shanna as my midwife allowed me to feel empowered and like an active participant in my pregnancy and birth. She puts her patients first. This patient centered model of care is practiced by all of Anthus's providers. We used 3D moments to show our 2 year old her baby sister growing inside mommy's belly and to pop over for a quick check during a prenatal appointment. Helping people navigate through the thick of life. It's breath taking to see the life come back into their spirit. God has gifted me with a skill that is undeniably supernatural and being his vessel is an honor.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted a more flexible schedule to spend time with my husband and 3 boys.

I am a genuine and down to earth counselor. I will feel like a friend, provide safety and guidance, and be committed to our therapeutic relationship.
