We were treated very well at this hotel I knew in a different incarnation as a kid - our family stayed there when I was in high school awaiting the moving truck! It's a vastly different space now and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the Frank and Dolly Suite with fireplace and it was lovely. We stayed one night, traveled for the second and were back for another prior to our flight home the following morning. The weather did not cooperate so after a long day at the airport awaiting a clearance that never came, we showed up on their doorstep yet again and they put us up in another lovely room. We didn't feel like going out for dinner so ate at the restaurant next door, a part of the hotel, and enjoyed our meal there as well. If our travels bring us back to the area we will definitely stay at the Reikart House. It's nice to know that even our dog is welcome as she usually accompanies me on long car trips. Great boutique hotel! Beautiful 2 floor hotel. Has a nice vintage look inside with clean and very well represented rooms. Everything is up to date, well furnished rooms, hallways and lobby area . A very nice touch was the LED light selector to choose between "Make room" and "Do not disturb" Slightly discouraged at first approaching the front desk, i felt a little unwanted almost, until i reached the agents and mentioned that i had a reservation and everything went smoothly and agents were rather very friendly. Check out was very smooth, i received my folio ahead of time. Parking space was plentiful and i got a spot near the exit! Would come again! Great hotel in the Buffalo area. Right off the main highway, so its easy to get around. Very comfortable and clean. Good amount of entrance and exit doors, making it convenient to access the hotel from the parking lot. They even provide cookies to your room every night. Nearly perfect stay.Staff were polite, assistive, and helpful in every interaction. Rooms were well appointed, comfortable, and sufficiently spacious. I must say this is one of the best hotels in Buffalo, with amazing team.The fact I give 9 not 10 on my overall experience just because we had cold night as the heating was not working in our room, yes, they give us heater in the room but took forever to get the room warm so we can sleep. Unfortunately that this happen and also the fact that there were no other free rooms so they can move us, as we were told. But other than that this is really an amazing hotel and very happy I did stay there and for sure will stay again. Check in was great Jayme at the desk is amazing did our booking and check in perfectly. The Butlers there over all are amazing and I love the concept, Marty the butler is such a blessing in a hotel like this as I could easily see he have passion to what he does. Melinda the manager this day did a great job with us doing our booking, great management. What can I say, it's nice to come home to see family & friends!!! It's nice to stay at a hotel that is warm & welcoming, just like your own home! ! The Reikart House is a very nice hotel to stay at, I stay at the Reikart House anytime I come home now. This is our 4th stay at this location. Great friendly check in and welcomed us back. Our room was ready, unfortunately no upgrade available as they were pretty full due to a wedding. Our bed was heavenly and we slept late every morning. Large TV and refrigerator was convenient for cold drinks. Had to order Buffalo finest pizza which we consumed in the beautiful lobby by the fireplace. The Butler assisted us in getting some wine to start our evening with. Extremely professional well trained and there was nothing he didn't do in dealing with customers. If a dinning table needed to be cleared he did it. If you needed anything he was your constant go to. Very impressed with both butler's we dealt with. A perfect luxury not found at most hotels. Our stay was quiet and restful. Love the turn down service and cookies! We loved everything about this hotel. It first caught our attention due to the airport shuttle, but the website soon indicated this was an unusual hotel that felt nothing like a chain. The public spaces are charming, and the rooms are really nicely done. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast in the Parlor Room was very good. The affiliated restaurant, Jazzboline, was delicious. Although all the staff is super-attentive, extra shout out to Paul. We don't go to Buffalo often, so we hope the Tribute Portfolio group will create some more winners like this in other areas. More...

We arrived early afternoon and as we waited for our room, we had a drink in the bar at the hotel's restaurant, Jazzboline. It was fairly busy for a hotel restaurant during the day. Our cocktails were well crafted and the bartender attentive.||We had a corner room that was very quiet. It appeared to also be a HA room. The room was very large and comfortable. Shower was a walk in with a fold down bench and a hand held, as well as wall mounted, shower. The only thing was the view. The windows look out on wall and a dumpster. When walking around the property I noticed there really isn't any kind of view from any room which kind of makes having corner rooms with two large windows pointless. ||The decor of the hotel was well appointed and interesting. I even enjoyed the music in the lobby. All kept in the early 20th Century vibe. Every area of the hotel was immaculately clean.||Breakfast in the hotel was a little better than average. Service was great. Menu had a nice variety. Was fairly well prepared. Had pancakes one morning that quickly went cold and then were as tough as cardboard, but I had omelettes on other mornings that were very good. ||If in the area again I would stay here again, but not in room 137. Decided to stay here for a one-night visit to Buffalo with my wife. The entry/lobby is beautiful, staff very pleasant and professional. What a beautiful hotel. It started with the staff! The front desk told us that our room was not ready at 5pm. Odd, but it wasn't a problem, because they were so nice about it and they even gave us a couple of free drink coupons. The GM even stopped us to say how sorry she was. You had us as free drinks! Loved the Reikart House from the second I walked in the front door. Beautiful interior and exterior deco, staff Marty and Jamey where amazing at check in and till our last night, needless to say customer service was amazing. I travel for a living and have stayed in my hotels. Most are predictable in terms of amenities and service level. My first stay at the Reikart House in Buffalo has set the bar quite a bit higher for the remainder of the competitors. Great service was the key along with very nice and clean accomodations. Had a business team meeting at this lovely hotel and everything went very smoothly. Meeting facilities aren’t huge but nicely accommodated our group of 30. ||Food for the meeting was good and the bar atmosphere was nice for after-hours fun.||This is a Marriott property so was able to get Bonvoy points for the stay. Room was very comfortable and had nice amenities (robe, coffee maker, etc.).||Breakfast was not included in room price, but the small breakfast area was nice and the menu had a lot of options.||The shuttle driver and front desk staff we quite friendly. Not optimal location but honestly with the well appointed rooms, great sheets, perfect bathroom and impeccable service, who cares? ! The plus was our dogs were with us and they were terrific about that though the $100nonrefundable fee is a bummer.
