When this place was Argentinian was really good, their parrillada for two had enough delicious meat. I just went there with a Korean friend to show him a BBQ the South American style. WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT!!!I will never go back to Reginas!! RIP!! More...

Came in and got a weird wave greeting from the waiter. Sat down at a table for about 10 minutes, no one gave us a menu or came to talk to us and take our order so we left. Wouldn't recommend!

Been coming here for 5 years now and my order never changes. The pictures say it all. I recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have great, home made Peruvian/Argentinian food. This is a family owned establishment that I will support for years to come. Just delicious. If you are a meat lover you will love this place. Great job!!! More...

This place was unbelievable! From the outside it definitely looks like a simple place, but the staff and the food was amazing! I tried the chicken skewers, which were cooked to perfection, and minestrone soup. Very authentic feel restaurant. I will definitely be back More...

Surprising find-getting my windshield replaced nearby so i was looking for a place for lunch. Â I wasn't in the mood for any of the local food places and found Regina's through Yelp! Â The place has an eclectic decor, cute little restaurant. Â The waitress was very nice in explaining their 2 sides menu-one side is Peruvian and the other is Argentinian. Â I wasn't too hungry so I got a Beef Empanada and a bowl of Lentil Soup-Great for a rainy day. My meal was very good, and hit the spot. Â i can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu. I love Peruvian food. I've been wanting to try this place for years. The food is decent, price is okay. I got a couple dishes here and I would only recommend the ceviche. I got a chicken and rice dish and I didn't love it. Chicken was weird.Friendly staff. Couple parking spots in the front and back. More...

Jaime turned out to be very pleasant as a representative to the place. We ordered a few dishes and were not disappointed with our order to. 3 Ceviche Mixto which meant seafood variety and no fish. Everyone liked it, not perfect, mind you, but certainly fresh and nice serving. 2 Tamales Peruvian style with pork, and very agreeable plus nice size. On the Argentinian side of the menu we ordered 2 breast of chicken with rice, nicely marinated and easy to eat. Many items in the menu piqued our curiosity but there was enough for the four of us. The place also offers assorted goodies which I picked a few that turned out very nice for dessert. Ceviches around $18 a piece which seems to be the going price these days. Tamal $9 each? The chicken plate around $15. Overall we felt well treated and did like their food, from Argentina  and Peru  under one roof (in alphabetical order), and we met a couple of lovely Argentinian ladies that made the waiting for our take out much nicer. Total $106+, but order was plentiful with salsas and bread thrown in. 4 Stars. More...

They always are on time with their to-go orders and catering, even on Christmas Eve. Their papa rellenas are almost as good as my abuelita's. Casi.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my buddy, I've been here once before but was surprised that everything here is still nice, family owned and quaint. Our server was great and attended to us very quickly, I ordered the Beef Empanada along with a Shrimp Alfredo. The Empanada was great and it was certainly wonderful for my first time trying it, the Shrimp Alfredo was alright as the cream could've been thicker and lacked a bit of flavor. Other than that my buddy's dish was fantastic, forget what it was called but it was something else! The restaurant is a mix of Argentinan and Peruvian flavors which I thoroughly enjoyed. Come here and support your local family-owned business! More...

More...

Phenomenal! My husband took me here tonight for my birthday. My family is from Argentina, and I haven't found a place that I could truly say had great Argentine (and Peruvian) food. .. until now. Â Don't let the outside appearance fool you. This place is a diamond in the rough. The food is authentically delicious. The prices are fantastic for what you're served. The owner and his son are friendly, helpful, and kind. The young girl in the front was super sweet. It's a MUST visit if you're in the Garden Grove area. More...

The quality of the food is excellent, everything I've had is delicious. I haven't been there in about 3 years. My family and i have been coming here for years prior to this. Customer service was always great, very friendly and the old employees were amazing. The lady who seated me very nice, however, the older gentleman who served me during this visit was pretty rude. I asked for a napkin after mine fell on the ground. He told me to just use it because it wasn't dirty or something to that effect and walked away. I'm immunocompromised and Covid is still a thing, so are germs. I was not going to wipe my hands on it and then pick up my fries or bread after that. I hate writing this as I have always loved this place. More...

Have not had the pleasure of actually physically dining at the restaurant yet but have been eating their food regularly for a few years through my work. Â Pre-pandemic, they would come about every couple of weeks to sell a few select items from their menu in our cafeteria. I love their beef and chicken empanadas and that pink rocoto sauce is so freaking spicy good. Â It makes me tear up but I love spicy food.I also like their lemon chicken with rice and eat the rocoto sauce with it as well. Â Look forward to trying out more dishes from their full menu when I'm in the area. More...

This place everyone must experience once in their lifetime, Regina's Restaurant truly is a hidden gem, a taste of Peruvian and Argentinean foods owned by two father and son, decorated nicely filled with Peruvian items such as chips, canned goods, souvenirs and my favorites are the wines. My first time here and won't be my last, the father was serving me, he has a great smile and an even better service! He recommended many friend and I some good cuisines . One side of the menu is Peruvian and the other side is straight Argentina foods . We ended up getting the meat platter from the Peru side that included chorizo, short ribs, and other meats that Im not familiar with but very tasty . The taste I can describe as something that is bbq nicely from the charcoal and  each tastes differently . Wine flights are offered here at a good price also! And If you like red wine, a must here to try the Argentina wines here from the Melbec city (a Napa valley of wine city).Beers come in many different selections also! Peruvian and Argentinean top beers at an affordable price! I loved that he kept the beer cups cold , pairs well with the cold bottles!Overall would recommend and would come back. My friend and I had a great time! More...

I promise you will not be disappointed with the food or the service. It's a classic hole in the wall that's of the highest peruvian cuisine. You can trust me because I've been to nearly every peruvian joint around Orange County and this one is far better then all. I suggest getting the 'Lomo Saltado'. More...
