Another great massage from Sara, today. She really seems to know what I need when I come in. She goes right to work on my rough spots. She always seems to know just the right pressure to use. I almost always request focused attention on face, hands, forearms, and calves. Sara is spot on with these, as well. Today, I had Swedish for a lighter touch. It was very relaxing. I think the Swedish massage might be a new favorite. I also liked the Shiatsu massage that I got last time. Sara always does a bit of light stretching...good stuff. The spa itself is nice and clean...all conducive to destressing and relaxation. I feel like I have been put back together after a refresh massage. Massage Day at Refresh Massage. I had a 90-minute shiatsu--nice meridian work. After a Marathon, 12-day work week and beat-em-up school, it was just what my body needed. Thank you, Sara.Refresh provides a great massage. I've been to other spas, lately, but keep coming back to Refresh Massage. I ordinarily get deep-tissue for 90 minutes. Shiatsu was a good one, too. I came here with a friend and we purchased the healing massage. It came with hot stones and medicinal oil and was $80. Let's just say this massage was worth at most $40. They did not massage our lower body due to focusing more on certain areas that we circled on the sheet they gave us. The only place they did really massage was our back and barely focused on the spots we requested. At one point my masseuse had to walk out to help someone at the front. The walls must be thin too because we heard shouting a few times probably due to it being right next to a karate class. I'm not sure who Brian is in these reviews but I did not have that experience.
