Quoted me for a deep clean minus baseboards and blinds for $300 and went on to quote biweekly maintenance cleaning for $145 per visit.
Our house wasn't very dirty, but needed a good spring clean and dusting. The girls showed up same day for the deep clean, which was appreciated, but they skipped over half of the check list. Not much on the list was cleaned at all. When I let the owner know she told me she told the girls it was just a maintenance cleaning, which is not what we agreed over messenger. The invoice she sent was $150 for a "maintenance clean" and $150 for organizing. We never discussed organizing and there was no organizing done. I told her that seemed like a bait and switch to do a custom deep clean quote for me and then instructed her girls to just do a maintenance cleaning, yet charging me for the full cleaning.
She offered to reduce the bill to $250 but I told her I would only pay the maintenance cleaning, even though that was generous. They didn't even clean under the barstools, didn't dust any light fixture or fan, every room had dusty corners in the floors, they didn't move anything to dust, broom, or mop. Didn't even move the rugs, just mopped around them. Kitchen counters were still dirty. Didn't even move the trash can and clean between it and the bar. I sent her over 90 pictures so show all the things they missed.
So paying the maintenance cleaning is being generous.
Next thing I know she blocked me from Facebook so I can't leave a review. I'm hoping Bark doesn't let vendors remove bad reviews too.
Don't pay before the service is done. I'm glad I didn't.

This client could not afford a deep cleaning and only wanted a basic cleaning. He immediately started complaining he didn’t receive a deep clean. We still haven’t been paid for the service he received which was 6hrs of labor (not including cleaning supplies, and general business expenses). We have screenshots of all messages of him requesting “a basic package” and us telling him that it will not be a deep cleaning on his home.
