My GF and I came here for lunch on Christmas Eve and I really liked it! I got the fish tacos and a house salad...the house salad was huge and it was nicely presented with shaved carrots. .. cucumber slices and halved tomato but it was also the size of a entree salad...the fish in my tacos was nicely seasoned...my GF got a wrap with a side of mashed potatoes and again the side was huge...served in a bowl... we'll be coming back again sometime...the exterior is a bit intimidating and my GF was a bit scared to come in but once inside our booth was cozy with black table cloths. Karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday night! The crowd is very friendly and fun! If you come here for first time, you'll immediately feel like a regular! We had a rough start ON the very first vist and left without eating. I talked with a lady and complained and which we were asked to give another due to being short staffed. Tonight we decided to stop and have Dinner. WOW we were blown away by the food. it was absolutely amazing. Grilled pork chops with roasted potatoes and collards. This had to be the best I have ever had. My hubby had fettuccine chicken Alfredo and he was again amazed. He is very picky and always has to drown it with sauce. He asked for extra but never used it. The food was average bar food. the server that we had was inattentive and it took way too long to get a beverage or even a refill on water. .ended up going to the bar myself and to my surprise I finally got the beverage I had been trying to order all night..when I got my bill I noticed my Bourbon and ginger ale had been entered as RUM..at one point I was given Vodka instead of bourbon..I am old enough to know the difference lol..the kitchen was slow but the place was packed..next time we will plan better timewise More...

This restaurant at 846 Union St. South near Food Lion is a hidden gem. After church a few months ago, we wanted to go to a place for brunch close by. Serendipity! I had a scrumptious steakhouse salad (with plenty of tender marinated beef) and my brother had a breakfast/brunch plate with eggs cooked just the way he likes them.  Since then, this restaurant has become a regular favorite for us! Varied menu so I try something different each time we go. Today, on St. Paddy's Day, I tried the delicious Reuben (corned beef!) with homemade chips (and ranch dip).  We  will be back again soon! We first stumbled upon Redd's when it was the conversation piece, i had the black bean burger then and still go there for it now, by far my favorite thing on the menu. Stopped by for an early dinner and I'm amazed there are so few reviews for this place. Â The interior is best described as local bar/tavern, with an split down the middle. Â The dining area has a dance floor, so I'm guessing they must have bands, etc. in the evenings. Â Our server was very friendly, and attentive, no issues there. Â I wasn't sure what to expect but the food was great. Â The menu is a bit all over the place with your usual bar items but then tacos and others available. Â We all shared order of wings, and I went with a Pimento Bacon Cheeseburger. Â They offer a nice kids menu for the kiddos, and their meal includes ice cream! Â My kids said they enjoyed all their meals. I thought the wings were delicious. Â Very large, meaty and cooked well. Â My burger was fantastic also. Â They offer drink specials almost every day too. Â Overall prices were very reasonable. Â My family of 5 enjoyed our meal very much. Â The speed of the kitchen was a little slow, but nothing that impacted our meal.
