What makes a great website?
A great website will work across a variety of devices and platforms. It will be easy for visitors to navigate and quickly find what they are looking for. A great website will resonate with your target market within 7 seconds of that person visiting your site and will reflect the persona that you are hoping to achieve.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
During our first consultation, I spend the time getting a clear picture of the image the client would like to portray on their website. How we do this will vary depending on your current work request is and industry. I typically ask clients such questions as:
- what is the big result that you provide to your market?
- What is it you are hoping to achieve through your website?
- What are your business goals over the next 3 years?
- Do you have a budget that you are hoping to stay within?
- Do you already have a brand or logo for your business?
- What is it about your current website that you like or don't like?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the freedom and flexibility that a business creates in my own life, and it's my mission to inspire others to live the life that they choose for themselves. My passion lies in combining logic and creativity to create something magical. Developing websites and tech solutions for entrepreneurs is a way for me to share that magic with others in a way that causes my clients to see greater success in their business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been a freelance consultant and business owner since I was in high school. Sharing my skills in a way that supports and nurtures other business owners is how I give back to the community.
