You usually can't go wrong with Red Lobster. I ordered snow crab and potato soup. The crab was pretty good as usual but I had to send the potato soup back because it was too thick. Overall my family had a nice time.

It was a horrible experience. We were told there was a 20 min wait. We ended up waiting 45 minutes. The restaurant was empty. Once we were finally seated our server was triple seated. It took 15 min to place our drink order and can’t even tell you how long it took to get our orders taken. I had to get up and go to the bar to get cocktail napkins. Myself. When we asked for silverware we were told they were out of silverware and the server proceeded to give us to-go PLASTIC silverware. Our bill came to $112.00 before tip. I expect WAY better service and no to eat on plastic silverware. Several other tables walked out. Had a 5:30 reservation right before seeing an 8:00 show on a busy Saturday night. Red LobsterAfter being out all day in Waikiki we were walking back to our accomodation and pasted Led Lobster, our kids aren't huge seafood fans so we tentatively took a look at the menu. Had an early dinner with my family in this place. Food is excellent and choices of drinks are great. Went here on weekdays and they have special course menu to choose from. Free biscuits with an order of course menu is a plus. The biscuit was really tasty & fresh from the oven. Jayna K, our waitress was superb! She was on point and knows what to offer for first time customer. We ordered a dessert & I asked for a candle for my sons birthday. This is an updated Red Lobster in North Lakeland. It's attractive on the outside with plenty of outside seating and a large ramp and stairs to the front door. We were greeted as soon as we entered, we had just missed the lunch rush so it was emptying out. It was very clean inside, the wait staff were hustling and cleaning the tables up fast.Drinks and the always perfect Cheddar Bay biscuits arrived quickly. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful.Our salads came soon after and were average/good; a regular house salad and a Caesar salad. My husband ordered the Ultimate Feast with a loaded baked potato. I had the Snow Crab dinner (1 lb) with broccoli and the caprese salad (tomato & mozzarella). We were very pleased with the meal. The seafood was cooked just right, neither over nor under. Both lobster and crab were tender and sweet. The shrimp, both fried and "scampi", were plump and tasty. The sides were good as well. Both the baked potato and the broccoli were perfect. (I'd pass on the caprese salad next time though, too strong a taste to pair with delicate seafood - but that is just my tastebuds' opinion.)Overall a pleasant experience. I love seafood, and this place is legit seafood. Restaurant chain that offers seafood up the ying yang! Shrimp, made in so many different ways. Different flavors and ohhhh buttah! Yes, food is generic and commercially made, but who cares, it's still yummy! It's  near Waikiki so high tourist traffic, so the wait could be long. Inside is nice clean and cozy. Staff is always nice and friendly. Nice place for celebrations, like birthdays. Menu is vast and surely for anyone's tasting. Lobster is always good all the time. Where do I begin. So from the second we walked into the building we heard two waitresses complaining about having to be there after 8 the seating host never even said hello just follow me and threw the menus down like we were some burden. So we sat down and the first thing we noticed is that the booth was disgusting it was sticky and the wall had food splatters all over the wall. When they have ya our food which we paid 100$ for 2 people the food was drastically overcooked the lobster meat was so dry it stuck to the shell and the show crab Leigh's were the same way. If you want to be treated better and enjoy the food more harries in south lakeland is way more delicious and you will be treated better. It was very disappointing as we went here for our 9 year anniversary. I would like to update this review based on the experience I was provided when I returned to this location I was called by the manager personally from this store he was very professional and was genuinely concerned with the experience I was provided. First time trying a red lobster and I do not regret, the steak was so juicy I loved it! Our food did not take too long as well, but it was pretty empty but we still had a 10 minute wait which I found weird but our waitress was always checking up on us! Okay here's the low down, everybody knows what Red Lobster is about I wont be telling you something you dont already know. But the bar at Red Lobster is probably one of Mira Mesa's best kept secrets. They have a full bar, with a pretty good selection of alcohol. If what you want isn't on the menu the bartenders are nice enough to try and make it for you anyway just give them the recipe. The thing I like the most here is that they have heavy pours when you ask for alcohol neat. Their prices for their top shelf alcohol is really good. But when I say top shelf I don't mean downtown top shelf, but I mean alcohol that doesn't come in plastic bottles. Placed a priority seating/reservation over the phone with the manager. My party of 8 arrived 10 minutes before the said time. After 30 minutes, we were still not seated even if there was an empty table with 8 chairs just beside the waiting area. 5 minutes after following up, we were seated on that same table! WHY WEREN'T WE SEATED RIGHT AWAY AND WHY DID WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR 35 minutes when it was empty all along. Whoo-hoo for endless shrimp!! My roommate and I are huge seafoodies, so we had to slide in for this amazing deal. The endless shrimp deal is coming to an end, so hurry in if you want to experience a 15. 99 shrimp buffet!We wanted to get the whole experience, so we ordered every kind of shrimp they offered. We started with the garlic shrimp scampi, shrimp linguine alfredo, crispy siracha-honey shrimp, and teriyaki grilled shrimp. Our favorite was the garlic shrimp scampi. So much butter and so much garlic! The shrimp linguine alfredo was also a great palette-resetter. The pasta was great to munch on in between shrimp plates. The teriyaki was also pretty good, but we felt like they'd overdone it on the sauce.Since we really enjoyed the shrimp scampi, we ordered another two rounds. We also got a grilled shrimp kebob without the teriyaki sauce, which we liked a lot better. The last shrimp dish we got was the hand-breaded shrimp, which was the least impressive by far. The breading was extremely dry and there was no sauce to dip it in. It actually tasted a lot better as leftovers because the breading had gotten soggy by then, lending it a little bit of moisture.Overall, the endless shrimp experience was successful!
