They've definitely worked out their kinks since opening. I've visited several times since then and have been pleased with the food and the service. Red LobsterAfter being out all day in Waikiki we were walking back to our accomodation and pasted Led Lobster, our kids aren't huge seafood fans so we tentatively took a look at the menu. After seeing some nice, 'non-seafood' optioned we want in and got a table for five.Staff had happy bubbly attitude's and could not have been more attentive when it came to questions about the menu and food.Service overall we really good, whether it was bring out drinks, cleaning up used plates or issues fresh refills on the drinks.... Had a 5:30 reservation right before seeing an 8:00 show on a busy Saturday night. Had an early dinner with my family in this place. Food is excellent and choices of drinks are great. Went here on weekdays and they have special course menu to choose from. Free biscuits with an order of course menu is a plus. The biscuit was really tasty & fresh from the oven. Jayna K, our waitress was superb! She was on point and knows what to offer for first time customer. We ordered a dessert & I asked for a candle for my sons birthday. Wanted to leave a 5 star based  on the service alone  from Teresa, but other service issues prevented that.  No less than 5 employees walked past our table with finished plates needing to be cleared that were not. Including management.  Restroom out of toilet paper.  This was at 3 pm in the afternoon.  Cannot imagine going at prime time.  I realize there are "kinks" in the beginning, but these are fundamental issues that need to be addressed. I love seafood, and this place is legit seafood. Restaurant chain that offers seafood up the ying yang! Shrimp, made in so many different ways. Different flavors and ohhhh buttah! Yes, food is generic and commercially made, but who cares, it's still yummy! It's  near Waikiki so high tourist traffic, so the wait could be long. Inside is nice clean and cozy. Staff is always nice and friendly. Nice place for celebrations, like birthdays. Menu is vast and surely for anyone's tasting. Lobster is always good all the time. I'll start my review by saying this is the 1st time I've ever been to a Red Lobster. The staff was very friendly and Sean who wasn't even our waiter keep checking on us to see if we needed anything. Placed a priority seating/reservation over the phone with the manager. My party of 8 arrived 10 minutes before the said time. After 30 minutes, we were still not seated even if there was an empty table with 8 chairs just beside the waiting area. 5 minutes after following up, we were seated on that same table! WHY WEREN'T WE SEATED RIGHT AWAY AND WHY DID WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR 35 minutes when it was empty all along. What a great dining experience. Went around 5pm and although they were already a little crowded we were seated in less than 10 minutes.  We went here specifically for the endless shrimp menu item and we were not disappointed. Although in retrospect, we probably should not have gotten an appetizer as we were getting full even before the main course. Meal came with salad and a side and you picked two styles of shrimp at first. Then each additional time you order one more style. I know this Yelp review is long overdue, for as long as we have been going here, I really don't think we have ever had a bad experience at this location. We decided to go during endless Shrimp for my wife's birthday, although she didn't have endless shrimp, but I sure as hell did. As usual the wait staff was great, and we had the pleasure of having Luis L., as our waiter. We're the type of crowd/family that always intermingles with our wait staff, and we try and make it a pleasurable experience.  Because as well all know, and have been there at one point in time or another, it's not easy pleasing everyone, especially the general public. Well, this time we had Luis L., and he was a character and a half. He was very interactive with our group, and he was giving it back, as much as he was taking it. He wasn't afraid to give it right back, which made the night a memorable night, especially since we were celebrating my wife's birthday. I came here with my infant son and friend on a Wednesday around 1230 PM for the "Endless Shrimp" promotion. The place is brand new and super clean. The restroom baby changing table actually had the disposable pads in it! Staff was friendly. The waitress kept asking us if we wanted more shrimp and more biscuits. Food was warm and fresh! I was literally bursting at the seams from eating so much. The waitress even prepared a "going home meal" of shrimp and biscuits for us. First time here in awhile. We had a huge Family party of 34. From Elderly to 1 year olds. Service was pretty good for such a large group. It did take extra time between courses, but that should be expected with this large of a group. Food all came about the same time with no one left out of eating with everyone. Everyone was happy with their order. I had the Seafarers Feast. Scallops were awesomely good. In all a good time with family and great service. I will admit it has been YEARS since I have been to Red Lobster. It just isn't my thing. So I really wasn't looking foward to the visit when my friend insisted he felt like endless shrimp. I didn't, but I decided to take one for the team.I was pleasantly surprised that in on a Friday in the heart of Times Square the place wasn't packed with a line of people waiting. But then again, it was early. I arrived there at 4 and was able to be immediately seated upstairs even though my boyfriend was running late. I recieved the requisite cheesy biscuits and ordered a Bahama Mama. Best Bahama Mama I've had in a while! Tasty and not light on the liquor. Service was great. Our waitress was very accommodating. Especially when an extra person showed up to our table for 2. We weren't hassled to hurry up as we talked over drinks. But she was ready and waiting when we were ready to order. I came to this new Red Lobster on the recommendation of of a new place to eat byTonia with Southern Nevada Health District. Bright, cheery, awesome staff... on day 2 of being opened. My partners and I develop, build, own and operate senior housing projects. We just wrapped one up in Mesquite NV.  The staff is weathering a packed restaurant in stride with a line outside. The food is awesome and a "shout out" to GiGi the bartender for a warm welcome, a nice drink, and an amazing ability to perform "under fire". Alan on the management side introduced himself. Great guy!Obviously good training has taken place, and solid hiring practices to build a great team. Good job... I'm thrilled to have taken the detour driving south on I-15. A few friends and I realized we have in common, that none of us had eaten at Red Lobster before, so we made a plan to go despite seeing that this particular location has only 2. 5 stars on Yelp. Boy were we in for a surprise. We had a fantastic time. The food arrived timely and mostly tasted very good. I ordered a lobster dish and my dish was probably the worst of the spread, but I tasted the other plates and everything else was really better. My conclusion is either that lobsters are ironically not the restaurant's strong suit, or my particular order on this day didn't meet a usual expectation. They get a pass on my dish because everything else was delicious.The atmosphere of the restaurant is well set. Casual, but not too loud. Dining area and bathrooms were clean. This is important. The waitress, Laura, deserves to be mentioned by name. She was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. So I only come here for one thing. Endless shrimp. Say what you want. I love shrimp and it's a good deal so I'm gonna be here grub on out. I will say that this location never, and I mean never has any of the "secret menu" shrimp items. It's honestly disappointing. Not sure if it's a Jacksonville thing or not. When I go to the location in Gainesville they always have the "secret menu" offerings. I should know by now but I keep on doing it, so that must make me insane right? Either way I wish this location would step up their game. Did I mention the floors at the bar were extremely sticky. I might be very nit picky right now because of the secret menu gaff but et well it is what it is. I will say they have new presto table checkout mini kiosk things. Not sure what to call them. It's convenient but if you want a receipt hold on to your hat because it won't print out at the table. It has a main printer so you still have to wait on that.Ugh sooo I jumped the gun on my review. The food at Red Lobster has never been all that for me, but I had a taste for it. The wait was longer than they said and there was a lot of complaints. However this review is for Jennifer or Jessica I can't remember her name but it's one of the 2. She was great. One thing that stood out is I ordered the sample platter and the noodles looked ok to me, but she said she was bringing me out another order because the order she brought looked dry to her. It was a positive experience visiting on a week night. Dustin P. provided exceptional service. There was efficiency with a courteous approach which was appreciated. Came here for the first time. We tried the wood-grilled lobster, shrimp, and salmon. They taste high-quality and fresh. It was a delicious experience trying these. The baked potato was also great. The rainbow trout was newly caught. The cooking of this fish is dry but was okay. The biscuit is the best. Very smooth and crispy. The Heineken is nonalcoholic, drinks like sparkling water. The service was good. Workers check in on us and answer any questions we have. We have a nice experience. There are tables celebrating birthday and the workers helped. So if I could rate no star I would!!!We waited 15 minutes to sit then another 10 more minutes when seated. Then had to wave down the manager Stephanie as she sat us in an area where the waitress was completely overwhelmed. Please note Stephanie the manager seated us so needless to say her follow through and understanding of her restaurant were nonexistent. We were moved to another section by request  and waited another 20 minutes till we received water and bread. Please know saying sorry doesn't work when customers are asking for simple requests such as water!!! What works is paying attention when you seat someone and realizing you have no waiter to follow up with the customers you just sat!!!  It took a total of 40 minutes to get water and even order appetizers we were so hungry by this time!!All we wanted was to have a nice relaxing dinner and chat but the initial staff made sure that was not the case. I hope the General Manager can follow up as I'd be happy to share how dysfunctional Stephanie's management style was and is. It was SO apparent that other customers and the staff felt the same way!Let's end on a positive note:I do have to say Isaiah and Sarah were excellent wait staff and when we finally were waited on they made our stay the best it could be!!!The General Manager followed up with me and I'mtruly appreciative that she took the time to  listen and happy to report that the manager is no longer working there...Not because of my review as she was resigning her position this week. Updating my review! I admit, I only come here during "endless shrimp". I love this annual event and come here just for this. My friend and I were ready and wore our stretchy pants to come here for lunch. In Hawaii, the endless shrimp deal is more expensive than on the mainland, of course. Here it's 21.99. It is worth it though! I want to give a big shout out to our wonderful server Emiko, who cheerfully served us endless cups of coffee and hot tea, and brought us several dishes of shrimp with a smile. She made our lunch so much more enjoyable. Thank you Emiko!We started our lunch with salads. Garden salad for me, Caesar salad for my friend. Then we were asked to pick our sides, so I chose broccoli and my friend chose French fries. We were started with 2 shrimp dishes of our choice. We both chose the sriracha fried shrimp and she chose scampi, and I chose teriyaki. Our portions were huge, but we were wearing our stretchy pants,  so this did not deter us from ordering more. We then opted for the linguine with shrimp, and an order of the fried shrimp. We continued with scampi, teriyaki, and then had Emiko bring out more teriyaki shrimp skewers.
