My wife & I had to do a google search to find a Red Lobster in the area we were visiting this past August. After a very disappointing visit to a white cloth fine dining seafood restaurant that claimed to have surf & turf, That fine dining seafood restaurant didn't even have lobster on their menu!!! We were treated awesome at this Red Lobster, The food was fantastic, Our waitress was beyond awesome, The GM was there & when I asked to speak with management, (to let them know this waitress was the best ever.) Excellent service at this location. We were seated quickly and Bianca gave us time to look over the menu without pressuring us to order. We went here yesterday, 11/10, after a very long time of avoiding any Red Lobsters. I'm not a seafood person, so I got a steak with baked potato and caprese (sp? ) salad. The steak was ok. Not bad, but not great, but certainly as good as I'd expect from a place that specializes in seafood. My husband had all you can eat shrimp. He had fried shrimp, which was really pretty good, and teriyaki shrimp, which was excellent. He also had shrimp scampi, which he thought was just meh. The other two he really liked. Went today and Louis R. is just the best! she went above and beyond when myself and husband were eating. food was quick, good and when I started to not feel well (nothing to do with the food or restaurant) she was quick to pack up my stuff, some extra biscuits and make our experience great

Just did the endless shrimp meal and it was amazing! The buns to start are great and every dish of shrimp was so good we couldn’t even pick a favourite. Keith was our server and he was just lovely. I know this Yelp review is long overdue, for as long as we have been going here, I really don't think we have ever had a bad experience at this location. We decided to go during endless Shrimp for my wife's birthday, although she didn't have endless shrimp, but I sure as hell did. As usual the wait staff was great, and we had the pleasure of having Luis L., as our waiter. We're the type of crowd/family that always intermingles with our wait staff, and we try and make it a pleasurable experience.  Because as well all know, and have been there at one point in time or another, it's not easy pleasing everyone, especially the general public. Well, this time we had Luis L., and he was a character and a half. He was very interactive with our group, and he was giving it back, as much as he was taking it. He wasn't afraid to give it right back, which made the night a memorable night, especially since we were celebrating my wife's birthday. The concierge was slightly rude, (we went around 1pm 11/03/19) im not sure if they were under staffed or he was to busy twiddling his thumbs in the back. took foerever to be greeted and not even friendly or apologetic. A few friends and I realized we have in common, that none of us had eaten at Red Lobster before, so we made a plan to go despite seeing that this particular location has only 2. 5 stars on Yelp. Boy were we in for a surprise. We had a fantastic time. The food arrived timely and mostly tasted very good. I ordered a lobster dish and my dish was probably the worst of the spread, but I tasted the other plates and everything else was really better. My conclusion is either that lobsters are ironically not the restaurant's strong suit, or my particular order on this day didn't meet a usual expectation. They get a pass on my dish because everything else was delicious.The atmosphere of the restaurant is well set. Casual, but not too loud. Dining area and bathrooms were clean. This is important. The waitress, Laura, deserves to be mentioned by name. She was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Simply, i was craving shirmps and I went to red lobster for endless shrimps. I had tried teriyaki shrimps and it was very good. I wish the teriyaki sauce on the side. The food at Red Lobster has never been all that for me, but I had a taste for it. The wait was longer than they said and there was a lot of complaints. However this review is for Jennifer or Jessica I can't remember her name but it's one of the 2. She was great. One thing that stood out is I ordered the sample platter and the noodles looked ok to me, but she said she was bringing me out another order because the order she brought looked dry to her. I was trying to find somewhere that I could just get a small meal and a beer and get in and out and landed here at red lobster. The place seemed empty at 8 o'clock so I sat at the bar by myself got immediate service and ordered a local IPA while I looked at the menu. I settled on the grilled salmon over a Caesar salad and started with the mussels. This was a large bowl, great value, and lots of mussels in a nice tomato wine sauce. Although I did my best not to eat the biscuits and bread I did eat the toast provided with the mussels while I waited on my entrée. The salmon came out and was perfectly cooked medium rare over a fresh Caesar salad which was very good. Although the place was not as inviting as one would think, and very quiet with no noise from the TVs or a crowd, it was exactly what I was looking for. I was provided with great service and very happy with the food so I'm giving it five stars based on my experience and my visit. I am happy when what I want is on the menu, delivered in a timely manner, and served with a smile and that's what I got. Many of the other reviews I had viewed prior to going but I have pretty good luck when I sit at a bar at a red lobster and order lobster crab or in this case a simple salmon salad with mussels. So if I could rate no star I would!!!We waited 15 minutes to sit then another 10 more minutes when seated. Then had to wave down the manager Stephanie as she sat us in an area where the waitress was completely overwhelmed. Please note Stephanie the manager seated us so needless to say her follow through and understanding of her restaurant were nonexistent. We were moved to another section by request  and waited another 20 minutes till we received water and bread. Please know saying sorry doesn't work when customers are asking for simple requests such as water!!! What works is paying attention when you seat someone and realizing you have no waiter to follow up with the customers you just sat!!!  It took a total of 40 minutes to get water and even order appetizers we were so hungry by this time!!All we wanted was to have a nice relaxing dinner and chat but the initial staff made sure that was not the case. I hope the General Manager can follow up as I'd be happy to share how dysfunctional Stephanie's management style was and is. It was SO apparent that other customers and the staff felt the same way!Let's end on a positive note:I do have to say Isaiah and Sarah were excellent wait staff and when we finally were waited on they made our stay the best it could be!!!The General Manager followed up with me and I'mtruly appreciative that she took the time to  listen and happy to report that the manager is no longer working there...Not because of my review as she was resigning her position this week. Early September my husband and I went to Red Lobster for our first time over our anniversary trip. I’m going to be honest we are seafood snobs and we both weren’t thrilled about going to a chain restaurant but we were starved and everywhere else in town was a huge wait. We were BLOWN away by not only the food but also the service. The waitress was named Kaitlyn M and I literally went back to get her name so I could include her in this review. It was late like 8:00ish when we got there and she was all smiles and the perfect example of a waitress! I don’t think I have ever experienced better service. I have ranted and raved about our experience. We will definitely make Red Lobsters MARQUETTE one of our go to stops when we come to visit our property. Thank you Kaitlyn M for a great experience.
