So today was an extremely stressful day for my cousin and I and we each had our sons with us. Hers is 6 and mine is 9 months. And both have fallen asleep in the car on the way to the restaurant so you could tell that they were both a little cranky when we first got there. ( As someone who's worked in the service industry for more than 20 years I know that I myself seeing this kind of table walk-in would not really be looking forward to taking them) but our server Zack was (and is) truly one of the most accommodating, good natured, excellent personality having, ( just all around an amazing human being)  server!!  His service was on point. He was friendly. He was knowledgeable. He had a great memory (cuz we asked for a few extra things) Also a bonus we were also seates kind of off the beaten path as to not have to worry about our kids disturbing the other patrons! Zack even went so far as to play catch with the older one,  just a couple times but it's those little efforts that really make a big difference! So I strongly advise if you are ever in Schaumburg and are able to dine at this location do yourself a favor and ask if Zach is working and he will not be disappointed. Had a 5:30 reservation right before seeing an 8:00 show on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant was getting busy at arrival but the hostess and wait staff were highly organized and got seated quickly. Service was lovely, efficient and timely but never rushed. Excellent service at this location. We were seated quickly and Bianca gave us time to look over the menu without pressuring us to order. 11/15/19Tonight we went to Red Lobster. Tonight our server was Peyton Caspian.  I made up her last name, but I think it's kinda catchy. The food was hot and delicious.  The strawberries and blueberries went well with the two types of shrimp I had. The brownie sundae was a no no, but I shared it with my wife. So I know this location is fairly new.  From the parking lot, you can tell that this restaurant just got a lot fancier.  It is absolutely beautiful inside.  If there was no sign, you would never know it's a red lobster you're walking into.  I really can't describe how gorgeous it is and it was extremely clean.I walk in around 10pm.  They sat us in an area where it looked like garage doors along the side of the building.  I didn't pay attention enough to see if they could actually open. But imagine?  That would be pretty cool. Told you they updated.  For being there at 10, I'm surprised the food took as long as it did.  Didn't make a fuss about it though, because our waiter, Danny, was really great.  Kudos to Danny because I like waiters who talk to you like you're their friend and that they're happy to serve you, instead of so fake and shows they had a long day, rushing you out.  I DON'T come across many servers like that, so it was a nice surprise for a Friday night.Our lobster came, and when we cut into it.  It was RAW at the bottom.  So Danny apologized and gave us a new one.  He was so nice that we couldn't have even been mad.  Like I said, I don't know why our food took so long if they didn't even cook it right the first time around.Regardless.. beautiful restaurant, Danny was great to us, and if you order a lobster tail make sure you check it before you eat it. A chain restaurant that manages to be pretty fantastic!  With my hotel right next door, I ended up getting takeout from here a few times after a long day of training, and I love that you can pre-order your food online - it's easy, convenient and fast.  I've mainly stuck to the make your own combo - picking shrimp and steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus.  The asparagus was astonishingly fresh (have I lived in Alaska too long?) and the steak was cooked EXACTLY as I wanted - leaving it tender and juicy with a nice, light char on the outside.  I haven't been to one of these in ages but the cheesy garlic biscuits were as warm and delicious as they were in my childhood memories!   They were also very generous w them - giving me 3 w every takeout order.I think the part I liked the most was the older gentleman (maybe the manager?) that greets people as they go into the bar area.  When I first stopped in, he was entertaining some kids at the lobster tank w cool lobster facts.  Later, he chased down my order even though I was crazy early for pickup. Well we visited them on 10/25 and the wait was nearly 45 minutes, but that's the norm for any of the restaurants around Tangers. Besides that our waitress was very attentive, the food was hot and delicious and all in all we enjoyed our dinner. The place is very clean, not like it was when it was Joe's crab shack. This will be our new Red Lobster , we used to visit their Copiague location. If you visit before 4 or on weekdays the wait isn't bad or at all, but weekends after 5 expect a long wait. More...

I will admit it has been YEARS since I have been to Red Lobster. It just isn't my thing. So I really wasn't looking foward to the visit when my friend insisted he felt like endless shrimp. I didn't, but I decided to take one for the team.I was pleasantly surprised that in on a Friday in the heart of Times Square the place wasn't packed with a line of people waiting. But then again, it was early. I arrived there at 4 and was able to be immediately seated upstairs even though my boyfriend was running late. I recieved the requisite cheesy biscuits and ordered a Bahama Mama. Best Bahama Mama I've had in a while! Tasty and not light on the liquor. Service was great. Our waitress was very accommodating. Especially when an extra person showed up to our table for 2. We weren't hassled to hurry up as we talked over drinks. But she was ready and waiting when we were ready to order. A few friends and I realized we have in common, that none of us had eaten at Red Lobster before, so we made a plan to go despite seeing that this particular location has only 2. 5 stars on Yelp. Boy were we in for a surprise. We had a fantastic time. The food arrived timely and mostly tasted very good. I ordered a lobster dish and my dish was probably the worst of the spread, but I tasted the other plates and everything else was really better. My conclusion is either that lobsters are ironically not the restaurant's strong suit, or my particular order on this day didn't meet a usual expectation. They get a pass on my dish because everything else was delicious.The atmosphere of the restaurant is well set. Casual, but not too loud. Dining area and bathrooms were clean. This is important. The waitress, Laura, deserves to be mentioned by name. She was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Hubby and I made a visit after I mentioned the endless shrimp ad  I had seen on my phone.  And so after shopping for some poster frames we found ourselves taking the left turn into this stand alone Red Lobster.  While you enter at the front most of the parking is on the side and in the back. When we entered there was no one at the check-in spot but soon someone appeared and we proceeded to a table.  I wasn't sure about our server to begin as she seemed distracted, however once we began speaking with her she quickly became an engaged server for which I am thankful.  I am also thankful she made it easy to order the endless shrimp, no shaming.  It is worth noting there are some options that were not on the menu, including a spicier option as well as a coconut version.  Hubby enjoyed the scampi, teriyaki, linguine options several times over.  She regularly checked on us and got hubby several plates.  The electronic payment option on the table made paying easy.We will likely visit this location again, although we both agreed the biscuits have lost something we are hopeful the shrimp and other seafood options will continue to be a good place to visit when we are in the seafood mood. So I only come here for one thing. Endless shrimp. Say what you want. I love shrimp and it's a good deal so I'm gonna be here grub on out. I will say that this location never, and I mean never has any of the "secret menu" shrimp items. It's honestly disappointing. Not sure if it's a Jacksonville thing or not. When I go to the location in Gainesville they always have the "secret menu" offerings. I should know by now but I keep on doing it, so that must make me insane right? Either way I wish this location would step up their game. Did I mention the floors at the bar were extremely sticky. I might be very nit picky right now because of the secret menu gaff but et well it is what it is. I will say they have new presto table checkout mini kiosk things. Not sure what to call them. It's convenient but if you want a receipt hold on to your hat because it won't print out at the table. It has a main printer so you still have to wait on that.Ugh sooo I jumped the gun on my review. The food at Red Lobster has never been all that for me, but I had a taste for it. The wait was longer than they said and there was a lot of complaints. However this review is for Jennifer or Jessica I can't remember her name but it's one of the 2. She was great. Saw they converted Joe's Crab Shake to Red Lobster. Nice job. Great area.We were greeted immediately and taken to our table once we walked through the door. . One problem is the vents are to close to the tables which makes you cold and your food get cold quicker. Our server was named Malik very nice waiter. He was attentive very helpful with a personality.  The food was great. I was impressed. Biscuits as usually very good The only issue was they ran out of broccoli. Didnt understand that. There is a Bj right across the street. It was very clean and organized.  The bathrooms were spotless.
