I honestly cannot say enough great things about Elliott. The quality of his work, his passion and his wanting for your invites to be absolutely perfect and everything you want, cannot be rivaled. Getting married close to Christmas, we were struggling to find invites that weren't tacky looking and childish. Elliott came in with all of his samples and was able to help of us come up with the perfect invite that was classy, elegant and included that Christmas feel that we were wanting. We wanted to stay within a certain price point, and Elliott was able to come up with a more condensed card that included our reception info, church info and hotel block but it was done in a way that the card did not appear overloaded by any means. He sends several proofs before going into the printing stage and was extremely supportive of the font change we decided on. I'm extremely OCD about having all details flow and such a control freak, but Elliott made me feel so relaxed and trusting of his judgement that I was so stress free working with him. You will NOT be disappointed when you're working with Elliott AT ALL. We've gotten so many compliments so far and that's all thanks to him! From the beginning I knew there were two ways to go with stationary - use something inexpensive online since guests will eventually toss it, or go all out and do something custom and crazy. And I LOVE anything stationary, so I knew we would be going with the latter. The second Elliott arrived to my house with all his paper samples, etc., I knew it would be perfect. I gave him a budget and he worked towards it. I discussed my vision with him which was to have a Montauk theme with each piece of the suite having a different element, but having all pieces tie together without being too busy. Elliott produced a few options of custom artwork (he is so talented!) but didn’t stop until I was fully satisfied with all the designs. He was very patient with me and all my requests. I wish we had a bigger budget towards decor because Elliott will do literally everything for you - thank you tags, welcome signs, you name it! I was one of those people who thought invitations weren't important but I couldn't have been more wrong! Having Elliott design our invitations from scratch added a personal touch that could not have been achieved any other way. Elliott listened to everything we wanted and designed an invitation that was more beautiful than I ever could have expected. He is so incredibly talented! I found Elliott's amazing work on Red Letter Day Invitations & Designs in a bridal Facebook group. I saw some of Elliott's work he had done and I immediately went to his website to find out more information.
I showed my fiancèe his work and we agreed to make a free design session appointment.
Elliott's work is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The invitation is the "first impression" they will get of your special day. Therefore, we decided to splurge a little bit more on invitations for our amazing day. Elliott works with your budget, no matter what it is.
Elliott came with a ton of samples. As we sat at the dining room table (and if you decide to meet with him, make sure you have a large table to meet on - he has a LOT to show you!), Elliott carefully and gently opened each sample invitation he brought with him, and placed it on the table in front of us. He listened to what we liked and didn't like about the samples he gave us. He helped us to choose the type of paper we wanted. He entered all of this information on his iPad, and after meeting with him, he sent us a contract within two days. We signed the contract and sent our deposit through Venmo (so easy!). We went back and forth for a few weeks with tweaked designs. Elliott was super responsive and flexible with every request and change.
Only two days after he received our invitations from printing, Elliott delivered our amazing invitations to our house. He showed us what one of our invitation suites looked like in person, and he did so with the same gentleness he did when he was showing us the samples weeks before.
If you are deciding whether or not to go with custom invitations, I say DO IT. Go with Red Letter Day Invitations & Designs. Elliott's work went beyond my expectations. His customer service is great and he is just an overall great guy to work with.

We were absolutely obsessed with our invitations and stationary for our wedding. From our first consultation, Elliott was very thorough and professional about displaying all of his work to try and customize something special for us.
We didn’t even really have a theme and yet he somehow was able to capture exactly what we were going for.
Every single aspect matched flawlessly and we got so many compliments on how everything looked. For the invitations, the envelopes were addressed for us as well which was a huge plus. For our stationary we had a welcome sign, instagram signs, cake table sign, table numbers, all our place cards, cake topper, menus, ceremony programs, plus more and everything was done for us and pulled the whole wedding together with a theme. This really took a lot of stress and extra work off of us since all of this was taken care of already, and it looked seamless. Everything was delivered on time and was presented beautifully. They are definitely a little on the pricier side, but Elliott will work with your budget and for custom invitations and stationary decorations for the whole wedding make it entirely worth it.

I knew I wanted something that we could put our own spin on that no one else had, and Elliott made that happen. He did the most thorough in-person consult to get to know us, our style, and show us over a dozen samples of his work. Then he drew up multiple drafts for me (because I had a few ideas) and was extremey patient with all my questions and edits.
Not only is Elliott an amazing artist and designer, he is a perfectionist and I really appreciated all the attention to small details and recommendations he made to complete our wedding invitation suite. He was also very good at communicating and meeting the deadlines he committed to.

Where to begin? Red Letter Day Invitations was one of the best investments I made towards my wedding. From start to finish, Elliott did an amazing job. He showed up at my apartment with all his swag, offering a bunch of examples for me to take a look at. Very perceptively, he took note of the decor in my apartment and applied what he saw to the designs that he would use on my invitations, thank you cards, table numbers, escort cards, instagram signs, and party favors (temporary tattoos). Elliott's work and thoughtfulness kicked my wedding up about 10 notches, and really brought the whole thing together. He went with the flow when we added a program to the order. Red Letter Day Invitations & Design has been fantastic! Elliott was able to take all of our ideas and make them come to life. First off, my food loving fiancé's one request for our wedding was to have Save The Dates that looked like a burrito. How could I say no? We met with Elliott and described our idea and the result was epic. Not only did he make the burrito look real (with our information seemingly heat pressed into the side), he wrapped EACH Save the Date in tin foil! People LOVED it and so did we! When it came time to do our invitations, we told Elliott we wanted a nautical theme that also looked like traditional tattoos (we're getting married on the water). The result was beautiful. Our invitation suite came out amazing. Elliot though of every detail; down to the font of our return addresses on the envelopes. We discovered Red Letter Day at a wedding showcase that we had attended. Their creative and unique display caught our eyes and we decided to schedule a time at our home to view the products. After our initial meeting, all further correspondence was either by email or phone. Elliot's paper and printing is of very fine quality and you are basically limited only by your imagination. Elliot takes invitations to an art form and you will end up with a product that perfectly reflects your personal style and will set the tone for your event. We ended up with a gorgeous custom designed invitation suite that we could not be more pleased with. The positive feedback that we received from our guests after receiving the invitation was all fantastic. Elliot was easy to work with, promptly responded to our requests and patient throughout the process. If I had any advice to share with anyone considering using Red Letter Day's services, I would say to be very mindful of your wedding timeline and try your best to complete your order at least a month in advance of the date that you plan to send them out. Because we had so many revisions to our design, we cut ours too close to the rsvp date. Our situation was certainly not the norm though, we were sending from two different addresses, one being outside the US, and we failed to plan for additional issues that we encountered regarding postage and turnaround time. Having Elliott and Red Letter Day design our invitations and wedding stationary was the absolute best decision we made.
From start to finish he made the entire process very easy for us. When we received the initial designs from Elliott we were thrilled beyond belief with how they turned out, the designs matched the exact tone we wanted for our aquarium wedding, polished yet playful, and when we sent them out we received a ton of phone calls and texts from guests who were so impressed at how beautiful the invitations were. Elliott's creative vision truly came to life on our big day with each and every item from our programs, to our menus, table numbers, place cards, favor tags, our welcome sign, and Instagram signs having a cohesive look and feel. We used Elliott to create our Save the Dates and Invitations for our wedding day. From start to finish, Elliott's work has been incredible. My fiancé's one request for our wedding was to have save the dates that looked like burritos. Not only did Elliott create the most epic burrito with our wedding info on it, he wrapped each one in tinfoil for us for that finishing touch! For our invitation suite, we wanted to go with a nautical theme since we're getting married on the docks. We said that we wanted the invitations to have a traditional tattoo feel but with our wedding colors. The result was beautiful. We were recommended to Elliott by a mutual friend, and we are sure glad she told us about Red Letter Day. Elliott is one of the main reasons people are still talking about our wedding to this very day.
My wife and I wanted to do something different and have a memorable wedding weekend, so we decided to have a "summer camp" style wedding weekend up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. This is where Elliott truly shined.
Elliott sat down with us several times going over design ideas and made it so simple for us. He literally created everything for us: invitations, save the dates, custom t-shirts, a custom LOGO for our t-shirts and our whole wedding, temporary tattoos with our wedding logo, custom summer camp bags that everyone got once they arrived with shirts and tags.. People still send us photos of them either wearing our shirts (so comfortable, by the way) and using our bags from the wedding weekend.
Understandably as a young married couple, we were concerned about budget and Elliott was truly accomodating in every sense. He made suggestions knowing what we wanted and how much we could afford; and worked within every price range we had. We weren't always the easiest couple to deal with (DIY weddings are a lot of work) but Elliott helped us out from start to finish.
In closing, Elliott's design style and vision is perfect for literally any wedding couple. If you're getting married at a catering hall, summer camp, or a backyard, it doesn't matter.. Elliott will help design your event and cater it to your exact needs and you will have a wedding you and your loved ones will be proud to be part of.

To say that Elliott Markowitz takes pride in his work is an understatement.
We chose to have a backyard wedding in the house that we bought together for our new family.
The three of us are on a budget as new homeowners and parents.
Because we are having our wedding in such an intimate setting, we chose Elliott to do our artwork so that our guests would never forget their experience. Not only did he do an immaculate job at designing our invitations, he did our wedding favors, signage, and Photo photobooth props.
So far, every single person I have spoke to has complimented the artwork that they have seen on the invitations and the save the date cards. I can't even image what they are going to say when we have our wedding August 6!
He used his talent to create cartoon versions of us and our themes of lighthouses (where we were engaged) and backyards (where we are getting married). No stone was left unturned! He even thought of details for our wedding that we didn't even think were possible!
He collaborated with us every step of the way. If we were not happy with a part of the artwork, Elliott changed it to exactly how we envisioned it.
The turnaround for our items was timely and he kept in communication with us every step of the way. And, for the icing on the cake, Elliott wrapped everything in twine and presented it incredibly professionally. What an amazing service!

We used Red Letter Day Invitations for our wedding. We really wanted to have custom wedding invitations to stand out from the typical designs regularly used and Elliot was able to make that happen for us.
Elliot listened to our ideas and comments on how we wanted the design, font, wording, spacing, etc. to be set up. If we had any issues or concerns Elliot was only a phone call or email away. I was extremely involved with this process and I am sure I was one of those brides that drove Elliot crazy with my specific changes and ideas. Elliott listened to our ideas and was able to execute them better than we could have ever even imagined ourselves. His attention to detail is second to none. But it wasn't the gorgeous invitations that blew us away the most. The style that Elliott designed for the invitations followed through to the day of the wedding too. He made my daughter's wedding day menus, programs, escort cards, Instagram signs, cake topper, and give aways. And it all carried the same artistic theme. He created a style that followed cohesively through everything. It was almost as if the whole wedding was a brand... a cool, "hip," and beautiful brand!
