About

I'm a manual therapist and life coach with a private practice specializing in people that are in pain or have had trauma. I work with people in person, online, and remotely. They know they have pain. They know they have experienced trauma. They know they have patterns and behaviors that aren't serving them anymore and they choose to be different.

I've been a client of Rachelle's for almost 5 years. She is technically amazing at what she does. But her intuitive abilities make her stand out from other practitioners. She has a way of getting to the heart of a problem - both physically and emotionally. Her touch and her words have helped me open to the roots of any problem I present to her. I trust her to support my physical journey and feel safe acknowledging any emotional components. More...

I'm a triathlon coach for women. I'm also an internationally competitive triathlete. I say this not to brag, but so you know where my experience with Rachelle comes from.
I consider her our "team medic." Whenever an athlete has an injury I always encourage them to compliment whatever care they are getting (physical therapy, a cast, rest, etc...) with a consultation with Rachelle. All my athletes work with her. And all of them love her. She brings personal knowledge of what an athlete puts their body through, as well as the tough mental and emotional work that goes along with the physical training. As a team we've crossed many finish lines, and Rachelle has supported every one of us (and me!).

Rachelle, from Reconnecting Your Unlimited Potential, has been a lifesaver for me. Both emotionally and physically. I was carrying trauma that I didn't even know I had. When I injured my elbow in a bike fall and couldn't figure out why I wasn't healing, Rachelle supported me in discovering a deep injury in my shoulder, which was preventing my elbow from healing (it's all connected!). We continued to have "telehealth"/remote sessions where we would talk through what was going on in my body and she would suggest and demonstrate various exercises and stretches I could do to heal myself. And, of course, it's more than just the physical body she supports. When it's emotional or mental trauma or issues, Rachelle works through those as well. Again, suggesting exercises or stretches, on an emotional and mental level, to let go of that pain/trauma.
If you've tried everything else, and nothing works, don't give up hope. Call Rachelle.

O.M.G.(This is just background information) I met Rachelle at a business event in Monterey, California. She spent 25 minutes with me at the time doing myofascial release. While I did not feel the effects at the time I DID have the side effects Rachelle warned me about, so I was pretty sure something happened. It's now a month and a half later. She's in Illinois and I'm in California, so we are not likely to get together any time soon.Wednesday evening I had an accident and smashed my hand pretty badly in a gate. 4 hours later the pain was reaching excruciating and I posted that I'd sprained my hand and wrist on Facebook. (I don't usually post that kind of thing, so the inspiration to do so baffles me.) Within minutes Rachelle commented on my post with, "Am I holding that for you this evening?"We commented back and forth a couple times where I agreed and then I went on to look at other stuff. An hour and a half later she PMd me asking, "How's that feeling?" I gave it real thought and realized that the pain had receded significantly. I then commented that I was concerned about how it would feel in the morning (it was bedtime). She asked for permission to check in with it again, to which I agreed (duh!) and then went to bed.The amount of pain in the morning was almost insignificant. Yes, sore, but no, not pain. And certainly not what I should be feeling from the injury I sustained. I do not know how or what Rachelle managed to do. I do not believe in what I call woo-woo. I'm a hard science kind of person. But I BELIEVE in what Rachelle is doing! How can I not? I am living proof. The healing I received in miraculous. It's been less than 2 days since I smashed my hand and I am almost pain free. I have no other reason for it besides whatever it is that Rachelle did. I am thrilled and humbled. Thank you Rachelle Manieri! More...

I've had different types of Myofascial release massages over the years and Rachelle's technique is by far the best. She has that special sensitivity to meet people wherever they are on their personal journey. I saw her shortly after breaking my elbow and she could tell just by the way I walked into the office that I was hurting. That session dealt with my physical pain and misalignment leaving me relaxed and feeling much less "broken". In other sessions we dealt with several psychological and past-life issues that surfaced to be healed and released. Throughout all our sessions Rachelle is extremely caring and attentive. Her devotion to clients is paramount and it comes through in everything she does. I can't recommend her enough! More...

I have been getting massages and Myofascial Release with Rachelle Manieri for over a year.  She does a fabulous job.  Rachelle always seems to know the source of the pain or discomfort that I have and she is able to get rid of the pain through massage.  Rachelle is very caring and is always going above and beyond to assist her patients.  Once, I was having a problem with the skin on my forehead being very tight.  The next time that I saw Rachelle, she remembered this problem and gave me some oil that got rid of the skin irritation.  I was also in the hospital a few months ago and she came to visit me there.  I enthusiastically recommend Rachelle for your massage needs.  You will be very happy with the treatment you receive. Q&As

I love working with people that know, deep down, they can be different and they just don't quite know how yet. Generally, they have been to different health care providers, and perhaps found some relief, but they're not quite there. They may have even been told, "It's all in your head" or "This is as good as it's going to get." And they know that's not true.

It's awesome to see/hear that first deep breath that they haven't been able to take because they've been stuck in pain or stress for so long. It's amazing when someone reports to me that they didn't realize they did something, like laughing or playing with their child or reaching in the back seat, without even thinking about it, because they are finally feeling better.

I was inspired to start my own business because I did not know anyone that was doing what I was doing. I had this really unique background, training, and experiences when I began working as a massage therapist in a medical office. That work was fulfilling, but often left something lacking for the patients.

It was during a continuing medical education course, and working with a mentor, where I began to learn, and experience firsthand, the relationship between the body, trauma, stress, and many diagnoses. I could see how often people were divided up into parts or presenting symptoms, without seeing the overall whole person. I could see how often, treatment plans weren't solving anything, weren't empowering people, merely managing symptoms. I chose to be different. To learn more. To work with a whole person: body, mind and soul. And I choose to work with people that also choose to be different.

I see you in your unlimited potential, as whole and well. I interact with you body, mind, and soul. I have a unique understanding and training as to how physical injuries (car accidents, surgeries, even falling off your bike or slipping down the stairs) and trauma can be held in the body and have impact on the nervous system. I work with you to locate that and release it. I engage with you to see patterns that are no longer serving you, teach you how to recognize them, and create tools for you to use going forward.
