My name is Rachel and I've been doing photography since high school really but more professionally since college! I specialize in wedding photography but have found a lot of joy in just about every aspect! I love family portraits, pet photos, real estate photos and head shots!

Rachel is INCREDIBLE! She is so kind, warm and easy to get along with. She drove over two hours to have lunch with me when I was searching for a wedding photographer and as soon as I met her I knew she was the one! She's organized, professional and down to earth. She was so accommodating with my tight budget and was able to build a package that worked perfectly for us. She responds to her emails quickly and gives her honest advice. She again drove over two hours for our engagement shoot (included in our budget) in Newburyport/Plum Island... she stayed almost twice as long as we booked her for just so we could travel to several spots for our photos. We were so nervous because it was our first professional photo shoot... she made us feel comfortable right away! All of our photos looked so natural! She provided hundreds of photos from our shoot and even edited all of them in color and in black and white! Our photos are BEAUTIFUL! She also includes all of the printing rights to our photos in her package so we were able to print several copies at good prices. Rachel was fabulous on our wedding day! She's such a sweet woman who can also definitely keep your wedding party in line when needed! She took charge and made sure that I had all of the photos I wanted with our wedding party and big family group shots... we cannot wait to see our wedding photos!! My fiancé and I had the honor of working alongside of Rachel at a wedding last night and let me tell you that she is incredible to work with. You can definitely tell the passion she has to capture and document the moments. We were the videographers for the wedding and coming from a professional vendor standpoint, I’d hire her in a heartbeat. Don’t second guess, if your getting married and in need of a photographer; hire her. Listen, there are thousand upon thousands of photographers in the world today but it is extremely rare to run into one like Rachel. Rachel photographed my wedding. We had never met but she knew my husband and was such an incredible person to have around on our hectic day! She was so relaxed and made getting our picture taken a million time actually fun! Neither myself or my husband loves taking a bunch of pictures but Rachel was able to help us enjoy the experience. This review is long overdue as our wedding was this past Labor day weekend! We found Rachel on Facebook through an old friend and what luck that was! She was professional in every sense of the word for our wedding weekend photography. She was super flexible and can jump right into the task, which is good because my husband and I had NO idea what we were doing when it came to posing for pictures and organizing family for pictures (which was our fault, we should have had a list and people notified before hand). We hired her for two nights technically because we had a long weekend over Labor day at a camp in Maine, so family came up Friday night through Monday morning. And the candids she took of family on Saturday night (our wedding was Sunday night) were so special. She is so on point with her candid photos no matter what the occasion, she catches some really great moments which means she is really paying attention for such a long time. She did our maternity shots and even though my BF was less than thrilled about getting his pic taken, and I was nervous about looking huge on camera, the pictures came out beautiful, natural and look effortless. Our time spent with Rachel has been amazing. She's so easy going and really open to doing whatever you want to do. Her level of professionalism and creativity behind the camera lens is unmatched. Working with her has been an absolute breeze. Our pictures are beautiful and flawless. She captured every shot we wanted to get without any issue. Bridal party getting ready, ceremony, venue, reception, and beyond. You name it, she made sure she got a picture of it if she knew it was something we wanted.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
If I told you then it wouldn't be a secret now would it?! Ha! (sometimes I think I'm funny) I think having fun and just loving what you do are key factors to creating a great photo!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I typically ask about budget because I feel everyone should have the option for great photos and what they're hoping to get out of the project... more specifically what kind of photos they'd like in the end! Group photos, single photos, candids, etc!
What do you love most about your job?
I loooooove meeting and getting to know new people! And also presenting photos to clients and hearing that they're super pleased with the end result!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love for travel and seeing new places really inspired me! I wanted to be able to make my own schedule and to have the freedom to take the jobs that really excited me! Also my dad owned his own business when I was young and I thought hey, maybe I can do that one day?!
Why should our clients choose you?
I think everyone should choose the best photographer for them! Someone that they get along with and I think I have a strong ability to work with and relate to a lot of people which allows for a fun experience for everyone!
