I got a "granny" chicken and waffles and I'm very glad I did. You know you're in for a treat when they tell you about the process of developing their waffle batter recipe and then explain how they use the waffle mix to bread the chicken strips - because that means everything is homemade, and it really shows. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, really nicely seasoned; the waffle had good flavor and stood up to the sauce; and the honey butter was great. Grabbed lunch today. Tried the loaded cheese fries and they did not disappoint! So delicious and they weren’t stingy with the cheese yet the fries were still nice and crisp! They weren’t even the best part, the peach cobbler was awesome we got 2 but debated on going back for another. Lol everything was amazing ! If you are like me and tired of the regular food places of Killeen...definitely check out Ray Ray's Kitchen. After riding around we stopped here and were sold at the mention of his popular chicken and waffles. It comes as a sandwich. 2 per order. I got the spicy which was perfectly flavored...amazing spicy flavor without the burn. Quin got the sweet n finished his before I could finish my first one!
