Ramen Lab Eatery - Delray Beach

So so good!  Broth and Noodles were perfect. The Korean short ribs were so tender and flavorful. Great outdoor eating too.

Very fun ramen place in Delray...but they don't just have ramen! It was opening night when me and my mom stopped by here. They had a dj/ramen eating contest and everything was delicious!

Who doesn't love RAMEN?!! And this place does it like no other!! Finally a real, quality, authentic Ramen restaurant, located so conveniently in Delray Beach that has flavors for every palate! So delicious we went back to back! We had a few of the ramen selections. They don't offer a kids meal so I added extra broth and extra noodles on the side to my bowl. The kids loved it and it was a cheap work around. Happy hour offered some tasty wine selections. Dessert bar looked really cool but we were too full! Oh my.. wonderful find on the Ave. In the center of Pineapple Grove with a parking garage on the same block, Ramen Lab Eatery will become another fav spot for me. I live in Delray and enjoy so many of the restaurants here. Came for lunch with a friend on a weekday. We arrived at 11:30 am just as they opened. Our plan was  to beat the lunch crowd. We chose a table indoors as it was still quite warm outside. Our server was spot on and brought us a large bottle filled with cold water and took our drink order. There was a separate counter set up inside the restaurant to purchase boba tea which I decided to have after the meal. This was my first visit but a return for my friend. She recommended the 5 spice duck ramen. It sounded wonderful and tasted just as delicious. The broth was sweet, the noodles were yummy and the sliced duck tender and crispy.  The menu prices were average for the location. The duck ramen was one of the higher priced dishes at $16.  It was served in a large bowl with a good proportion of noodles to broth. I thought I would take some home but it was sooo good, I ate it all. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Before leaving I ordered the lavender milk tea with mango boba from the separate counter.  It was the best milk tea I've had. I definitely want to return and try other dishes. They have a nice variety of Asian options. Either the Korean short rib or Penang ramen will be my next choice! More...

I tried Ramen Lab Eatery today for the first time and it was such a treat! I ordered the Miso Ramen with Korean short ribs and would 10/10 recommend. The miso was delicious and the short rib very well seasoned and tender. I also tried the Shoyu Bowl with pork belly and udon noodles, which wasn't bad. The pork was a little on the tougher side than I would prefer but still a solid choice. Their pepper sauce was also bursting with flavor and added a great finish to both dishes! i just got news that i was going to dinner last minute. didn't expect to come here, but it's so cute inside! the bowls, the cups, and just overall the aesthetic is so calming! the food is also soooo good! i ordered the shoynu ramen with seasoned ground beef chicken and it tasted SO good! and i'm a first timer, the staff was also super sweet. i would highly recommend, and the food didn't take that long to come out and i had a party of 7! i still crave that shoynu ramen with chicken so bad! i might just have to come back and get it! but also, i didn't know they had bubblecones there until my cousin asked me if i wanted one, i loved it! and once again, i was a first timer to it. my toppings were just fruity pebbles, and it was so good! overall, i will be coming back and i now have a favorite order at the ramen lab eatery! this place is really it! Huge fan of Ramen Lab. Everything tastes so fresh and authentic every time. I get Miso Ramen with the short ribs--the meat is so perfectly braised and savory. The broth is delicious. You are also able to customize your ramen easily- leave out mushrooms, extra bamboo, etc. They never act like it is a hassle for them to make a change, which I always appreciate. My husband gets the Chicken Oyaku Don and it is amazing. It is rice, fried chicken, and egg, which sounds so simple but I swear they put some magic in that bowl. The seasoning is so delicious. We also have had the Gyoza which were great as well. The prices here are a little higher but I feel like it is worth it for how fresh and delicious the food is, and the it is in a great area in downtown Delray. I came on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and they had a DJ! They have ramen, poke, boba, and soft serve. You can street park, and they have a parking garage right across the street as well. Yum!!! My husband and I got the Pork Belly Bao Bros Buns and now I can't stop craving them! My husband got the red curry chicken ramen dish and loved it! There was not a sip or bite left in the bowl. I got the Miso short rib Ramen which was good but I liked the flavor and spice of my husbands meal best. I also felt like mine came with a lot of meat which some may enjoy but I wished it was a little less meat. Overall, it was a great experience and the staff was friendly. Hubby and I stopped in for dinner on Sunday. We were greeted right away and took advantage of the half price appetizers. The buns were great. The chicken wings were crisp and terrific and the fried tofu delicious. He also had chicken based ramen and I the red curry. His ramen was good, mine was not my favorite. What is sad is that we could have had a really great meal had I avoided the red curry. Having lived in SE Asia, I learned to love spicy curry, but find that it's hard to find done well in the USA. When I asked the blond female taking my order if it would be possible to taste the red curry before making my order, she told me no, like I had asked for something outrageous. After all it's a freeking soup place,I assume broth is not scarce. I wanted to stop her and explain that her response should have been, yes, gladly. There were no people waiting and it was not busy. She could have taken a small plastic cup back to the kitchen dropped a few tablespoons in it and it could have been a real customer/food sharing moment. So, rather than explain that only untrained staff say no to such requests and make an issue out of it, I just felt sorry for the owners, noted her self importance with her made up rule, and just ordered it. She kept telling me how good it was with ample descriptors which took her longer than had she gotten me a taste. After serving it,She could have come by personally to make sure her forbidden to sample  red curry was a good as she said, but she was busy bossing the other staff to have considered such a proactive move. My red curry was not good.  I did not like the taste and now I had to choose to send it back or not. If I sent it back it would seem as though I did so because she denied me a taste. So I sat there steaming feeling manipulated. This was my third visit to the restaurant and likely my last. I don't like places that put unprofessional staff in crucial decision making positions who put customers in power struggles for access to product. Part of me felt like I should take the red curry and just toss it on the floor. Another server came over to ask if our "food was delicious " and I sad in a low and unenthusiastic voice, just ok. She just walked away with no follow up question like, Is there anything more I can do to make this dining experience better for you? Given the blond's rules, I was not sure how it would have gone if I asked to send it back. So, I rationalized that overall the food and service was great but I should have walked out the minute I was not allowed to taste a sauce. Tasting sauce is not about sauce it's about trust and communication. Her actions shut me down, blocked valuable commutation we could have had and taught me that my requests and needs as a customer come second to lame made up rules. Customers who come back more than 2 times are statistically likely to become ongoing multiple visit clients. This was my third or fourth. This is what you hope to attract with the right kind of service. These are people who come whether you advertise or not. They make money for your business in a steady way over time. Who this woman thought she was protecting I do not know, but she cost me a great experience, and you a returning long term customer. If for some outside chance that you actually do have a no taste rule for your broth, then bravo to her for living up to your business model. We've had Ramen in Japan, DC, LA, NYC and pretty much every metro we've been in and Ramen Lab here in Delray was by far the most authentic Ramen place I've been to in the states.
