Rage Ground

I came upon this place from an internet search. I signed up for the Smash Party Package for 4 people. We got some large items like a microwave, printer, copier and computers along with some bottles of beer, wine bottles, shot glasses and other stuff to break. We were given 30 minutes to smash things and I thought it was too short of a time initially but upon completing it, it was the perfect amount of time. There are bats, pipes, and a hammer to use in our group of things to break. Protective gear does its job and we had so much fun smashing everything to pieces. The staff was nice and guided us through the process easily. We left calmer and happier in the process. It was nice being able to break things and not have to clean it up. And to let loose on junk was great. It's a fun experience that we will want to do again. I think we may have more people get together for a larger party. There's metered street parking up to two hours but also a lot across the street which charges $5 so it isn't bad either. We then took an Uber for drinks and food and walked to some other bars for more fun. In the end all four of use enjoyed the experience and would do it again. I planned a night at Rage Ground for my best friend's birthday, and it was AMAZING. We did the Smash Party package, which is up to 4 people for 30 minutes of breaking stuff, and it was awesome. There were plenty of things to break, options of heavy metal pipes, bats, and we felt completely safe. They were blasting metal and it was the perfect atmosphere for smashing haha. Had a great time! We found out about this place from the show, 9-1-1. We came with 7 people for the overkill session. Fun times were had. They put us in a room, about 40x15. We each took up a section and went at it. If you're not there for pics and videos, get the 30 minute session cause you'll be in and out quickly. For the plus size folks, they say their coveralls go up to 4x but when we got there, they only had sizes up to a 2x. The coveralls also aren't meant for tall folks. They do have these white, very thin covers used for tall, big people. One of my friends is 6'3 and 300+ lbs so it worked. But if that was supposed to provide any type of protection, it didn't work. He tore a piece of it while figuring out how to put it on. They say their sizes range from XS-4X. Not necessarily sure what that means for tall slim people since my 2X coverall fit me perfectly and I'm 5'7. I'd imagine it had about 2 more inches to give. If you're tall and/or big, I'd recommend emailing Rage Ground in advance for more info.Anyway, we had a great time. Bring your own drinks and/or snacks, cause they don't have any available.There's also a parking lot across the street from them. We came at 8:30pm on a Saturday and they charged $5 cash.Email them! This was a really fun experience for my sister's birthday. There was a group of 8 of us and we got an hour in the room. I think an hour is a bit long but overall we enjoyed ourselves. Even if you don't have a lot of anger to get out, breaking things is fun! I was glad that they have a range of sizes for the protective gear so no one is left out. My only recommendation would be air conditioning as it was VERY hot both in the reception area and in the room itself. It was great that they offered water because wearing all that gear in a hot place is a fast-track to dehydration. Would've been perfect if the water had been cold though. Also, I think the staff could've been a little friendlier and maybe warned us about the possibility of the tools (hammers, bats, metal pipes) bouncing off the item you're hitting. I can't even express how much everyone needs to go to this place. It is so therapeutic. If you are ever going through something difficult, I highly recommend. My friend and I got the date night package. Which came out to maybe 65$ each. Which isn't bad at all. They were super friendly inside. Showed us what to do, we even got their a few mins early and let us start early. At night parking is easy cause it's free for the meters after a certain time. More...

This was by far the best, therapeutic, cathartic experience I've had ever!! The staff was very nice, helpful and clear with instructions. Bought a gift certificate for my son and daughter-in-law but they moved out of state before they used it so I made an appointment for my husband and myself to go. Be prepared to sweat and get a little disheveled but also to have a ton of fun. We had a good time and felt that it was worth the $. What an insane idea...but so insanely fun. I booked the Overkill package for my boyfriend's birthday and everyone had an incredible time. Who knew breaking stuff was so much fun? It's a therapy you didn't know you needed and you will absolutely work up a sweat. We had an hour, but probably destroyed everything within 30 minutes. There were eight people in our party and they opened up two of the rooms into one giant room. We were given desks, speakers, keyboards, mirrors, bottles, shotglasses, hard drives, ALL TO DESTROY. You also get weapons - bats, pipes, axes, and sledgehammers. Everyone enjoyed the experience and we're all still raving about it.The staff is really chill and they give you everything you need to make sure you don't get hurt in any way. Such an outstanding unique experience... I haven't had that kind of a work out in a long time. I'm sweating profusely, throat raw, shaking. But all in a good way. It's a crazy fun 20 minutes. My friend and I smashed cups, plates, hard drive, bottles, and best of all, a fax machine! After going through the weaponry, I found the bat to be most effective. Also surprising to me was superb the customer service was -- I have expected the staff to intentionally try to piss you off so you can go in a room ready to smash, but they do a great job of welcoming you and calming you down afterwards. Another real treat of the experience was the people watching, and hearing, it's so fun and funny listening to all the rage emptying out of the other rooms. They give you so much protective gear, you really feel safe to go to town. Plenty of parking across the street, incidentally. Treat yourself to this gift. More...

Okay so this place is a fantastic way to let your rage out and really go to town on some objects. Very therapeutic.  Its very fun to bash items while metal music blasts in the background. It's a little expensive and it's something you could technically do on your own, but the hassle of getting objects, not to mention all the clean up you'd have to do, that's why your spending the money.Only other note to staff: Please empty out the ink from the printers before you use them in the rage rooms- When bashing our printers, the ink that was still in them spread everywhere and I ended up breathing it in and was sneezing out blank ink for a day. Im sure it's not harmful, so I dont care, but consider face masks underneath the visors or to remove the ink More...

My girlfriend found this place and had a good idea to use it for our anniversary to do something different. It was so much fun. The employees were super nice and chill. They go through everything really well. They had a date night selection and we took it. We had 25 minutes of just destroying stuff. Best thing we've done and wanna come back every month to get some good catharsis going! The only cons which aren't even that bad are it does get hot when you're hulking out and it's a workout but it's so satisfying after! One of the most amazing experiences of my life. Rage Ground is incredible. We were given printers (think Office Space the movie), glasses, wine and beer bottles, mirrors, and tore everything up. 30 minutes is the perfect amount of time. Booked the first session for my friend and I, we also brought our own box. Everything was set up when we got there and they gave us the proper safety equipment. I went with my friends, we had 10 minutes in a room with glass bottles, computer hardware, and hammers, baseball bat, and metal pipes to hit. It was fun hitting, breaking everything. We came here for my daughters 21st Birthday party, and had never been to a place like this before, so we didn't know what to expect. The ticket prices seemed a little high, but I knew my daughter would love it. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience, & we had a blast!  At first it was a little hard to get into for me.. breaking perfectly good things, but once you start, it becomes almost therapeutic  The staff was super friendly & gave us gloves and a protective suit to wear.  I definitely want to go back! I could do this every month.  It was so exhilarating!  Was a little nervous beforehand but they guy at the front could not be nicer and it was interesting to hear the majority of clients are women.  Who knew?  My voice got hoarse and my body was sore the next day but well worth it. Went to this place a few weeks back and had such an incredible time!!!! It's the perfect place to vent and let all those irritating and frustrating things that get to you out in the open, or in this case, a room where you can hit, break, smash, and pulverize the daylights out of mugs, glass vases, shot glasses, computer processors, etc. Sooo much fun!!! Shout out to Kimber who was super knowledgeable about the process and explained both safety and rage room rules. She really didn't have to, but she listened to me talk and go off about the frustrations that were going on with me that week and having someone to do that when they weren't necessarily paid to, and even gave back kind words made the experience all the more worthwhile.
