What do you love most about your job?
I believe that one of my life's greatest purpose and mission is to encourage and empower others to live their best lives. Career coaching is more than a profession for me. It's a vocational calling and I consider it an absolute privilege to walk alongside as I help you uncover the clarity you desire and encourage you to take that next right step with confidence.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Career and life transitions and the subsequent journey of discovery isn't easy and can often feel lonely and isolating. When my youngest started kindergarten, I knew I wanted to re-engage into the world of work, but didn't exactly know into what or how. I struggled with knowing who to talk to that didn't have a biased opinion for my life. And once I did start to get some clarity on which direction to move towards career-wise, I wondered how to actually do the thing (networking? resumes? cover letters? interviewing? salary negotiation?). Had hiring expectations changed since I was in college? I wish I had someone to help me from start to finish. Starting my own life + career coaching business is more than just a way to create a living--it is an opportunity for me to give back and support others on this journey so no one has to walk alone, like I did.
Why should our clients choose you?
You know, there are a lot of career coaches out there. And there are plenty of clergy to process big transitions of life with. I believe that I stand at a unique junction, especially if your faith is a guiding force towards making decisions of career and purpose. I am a safe place to have these conversations about how faith intersects with your life and discern your next steps towards Love, Peace, Purpose, and Joy. Actually, I consider it one of the highest privileges of life and honor it as a sacred journey that we trek together.

Yes, I only offer coaching services remotely. My clients have loved this service as we can meet at a time that suits them best and keep the level of privacy that they feel comfortable with.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My coaching service is 100% remote thereby Covid-19 safe and sound. All documents (i.e. resumes, etc...) and payments are shared digitally.
Career Coaching: Finding Clarity
Work with me 1:1 in 45-60 minute sessions to identify your particular strengths, interests, values and understand your unique personality in terms of best next steps or career options. Using this as our grid, we then map out the way forward to design a congruent life that satisfies both your career and personal goals. This generally takes at least 4 sessions, each tailor made to your needs. Although I live in Bloomington, IN, I work with clients anywhere through Zoom at a time that suits you best.
This is ideal if you need clarity and career confidence.
Resume & Networking: Stand Out and Get Noticed
My resume review service takes you step-by-step with everything you need to create a rock star resume that will make you stand out and to land that opportunity, fast tracking you to your dream internship or career. Utilizing the latest templates, techniques, and copywriting, I'll show you strategies to beat the ATS bots and tell your story in a way that gets your application to the top of the pile. You'll also be guided through writing a strong cover letter and learn the art and power of the thank you note.
However, a star resume is only part of the journey, because 85% of the opportunities people land actually happen in the 'hidden market', aka aren't advertised. I'll also share with you best practices on networking like a champ and make you an irresistible hire.
This is ideal if you are changing jobs or it's been a hot minute since you've written a resume.
Interview Prep: Let Yourself Shine
We often have a sense on how to look for jobs, but aren't exactly sure on the best way to prepare for the interview to actually land it. In this 90-minute extended session, I'm going to walk you through ways you can best prepare for your upcoming interview, give you tips on how to answer those difficult questions (so, tell me about yourself!), calm your nerves, boost your confidence and leave a great impression.
If you are new at interviewing or are tired of getting to the final round but not landing the job, this service is for you.
Pathway Forward Program: Coaching For Students
Are you tired of not having an answer for the millions of people that ask, "So what are your plans after graduation?" Or perhaps you do have an idea, but want more confidence to confirm this direction?
For less than half of a 3-credit hour university class, the effective Pathway Forward Program helps students get clear and identify best fit pathways according to their unique interests, personality, skills, and values. It gives tangible takeaways on how to connect their passions with majors and broadens their options for career fields. They'll learn best practices for networking, as well as ways to build experience to solidify their choice.
Students who have more clarity on their purpose and plan are happier and more focused in their studies. If you are looking to maximize your college experience, consider enrolling in the Pathway Forward Program first!
This 4 part coaching program is tailor-made to the unique needs of the student. They will emerge with more confidence about who they are, what they want to do, and best practices for building experience. Not in Bloomington? No problem! I work with students across the country utilizing Zoom at time that suit them best.
This is ideal for high school students (10th, 11th, 12th grade) or college students. It's also a fabulous graduation/birthday gift--one of lasting impact!
