Rachel is fantastic! I'm so happy I booked her for my wedding.

But let me tell you: she's a tough lady. She's a hard worker and very serious about her job. She's the kind of person who can handle a lot of details and likes to make order out of chaos. She herself is a very well-ordered lady. I watched her work with a couple of vendors: I was pleased to see her be firm to get what we wanted.

Now, some people might be put off by how firm and managed she is - especially if you're a major Type B personality like me. However, I recognized early on that this is just what you need to pull a wedding off. She's extremely organized and on top of everything. If you're normally put off by very Type A people - don't be in this regard. Your wedding will come out amazing and beautiful thanks to her work.

Rachel is extremely experienced with weddings. She knows what she's doing. She even gave me a few lessons on traditions and etiquette of weddings. Ex: She told me it's bad form to bring presents to weddings. You either bring presents to a shower or mail them. You're only supposed to bring cards to the wedding! So obviously Rachel has studied the art of planning weddings. She will get it done - and get it done to the highest degree of awesome possible.

Her top priority is what YOU want. She'll never insert her own opinions into your wedding. She simply gives her expertise, and then carries out what you want her to do. At the start of my planning, I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted, but she was able to narrow us down to a wonderful vision down after talking to me for a bit.

With the exception of one (that surprised us both), all her vendors she recommended were WONDERFUL. Beautiful people who did beautiful work.

Now, I did give her 4 out 5 stars for flexibility. I did this because I think she is more into doing 'high end' weddings. So if you want to do a low-budget country wedding in a barn, she isn't for you. But besides that, she's amazing!

Rachel Leuck is the premier wedding planner for brides who want a partner in creating a unique wedding that is personalized from Day 1. My husband and I selected Rachel immediately after speaking with her. Upon first discussion, she was more interested in what our vision was (and who we were) than telling us her ideas. When I said I didn't want a traditional hotel ballroom wedding- she had at least 30 venues that fit our budget and were outdoors. Her vendor recommendations were amazing- and she gave great advice for how to handle all kinds of situations (tipping, customs, negotiating, etc.).

Fast forward to our wedding day. Rachel made sure there was a solid rain plan (down to how to avoid wet grass), and helped solve MANY wedding day issues on the spot. While doing so, she became a friend to our wedding guests and family. As someone who relied on a planner to help plan the wedding from afar- Rachel is definitely the best!

Their team is wonderful and very knowledgeable. I ended up with Mellisa as my planner and she was amazing. she helped me through all the craziness of planning, above what was called of her to do. On the day of she was amazing pulling everything together. She had a intern with her that day an although she was great, she was drinking on the job with the groomsmen. Which was very unprofessional. My wedding happened solely because Rachel Events organized it down to every last detail. Our wedding went off without a hitch!!  From the first meeting to the Wedding day, our minds were always put at ease. I got the awesome opportunity to work with Melissa Meyer my wedding planner from Rachel Events. She was amazing. She kept my stress level to a minimum and went to bat for me when vendors gave me trouble. She is very kind, easy to talk to and very professional. Very punctual and keeps her word. I was nervous how everything would turn out because I had three planners within the first 6 weeks of signing my contract but the lucky 3rd, Melissa, did an amazing job and couldn't have helped us out more. She was prepared for all meetings with details I never could have thought of, always responded in a timely manner, and was patient and kind when things got stressful. I was reluctant to spend money on a wedding planner, but after more than a month of not being able to settle on a venue, my fiancé and I turned to Rachel for help. We spent one (long) morning looking at wedding sites - and loved all the ones she found. They were beautiful, and just as importantly, within our budget. Throughout the process, she helped us find ways to save money on flowers and decorations. She's fun, creative, and worked hard to make all our ideas come to life. We decided to go with Rachel Events after wedding planning became too overwhelming. I started planning without a wedding planner, but was getting very stressed trying to find the right caterer which was going to take the bulk of our budget. Rachel's team pointed us in the right direction and recommended Gil's catering who did a spectacular job on the day of our wedding. We received a lot of compliments on the food. Also for the quality and menu we selected, Gils was the most reasonably priced of the several caterers we taste tested.

Rachel's monthly checklists were very helpful in keeping us on track to getting everything done. We would not have covered everything without a wedding planner because there are little details that I wouldn't have thought of. Our wedding venue (Winfrey Point) required us to coordinate all the vendors for set and take down on the day of our wedding. Rachel did a great job coordinating all of this and made sure all the vendors knew what time they needed to be there for set up with a detailed timeline. She took care of the numerous back and forth emails in the weeks prior to the wedding between our vendors. On the day of our wedding, Rachel and her assistant kept everyone on schedule and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Our wedding was perfect, and if there were any hiccups that day, I didn't know about them. I couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out.

Melissa was soooo much help. My friends got ordained to officiate the wedding so no one had an idea what to do. She came to my house a few weeks before the wedding and went through the whole process with us and helped us practice. It was everything we needed. Rachel is excellent at taking charge and getting things done.  My fiancé and I hired her after we were unable to find a good venue that fit what we both wanted. WOW. That is all I can say about Rachel from Rachel Events. I was so impressed with her professionalism and her attention to detail! I mainly had her for the month of wedding planning but she constantly talked with me on the phone and sent me lists of things I should be doing each month to keep me on track!

The day before and the day of the event went by flawlessly, or at least to my knowledge! Rachel was constantly communicating with the other vendors and back to me to let me know what was happening and what to expect next! Then the day of the wedding all I can say is time management. She kept not only me but the entire family/wedding party on a schedule and managed to get everything we had planned done. I don't think I could rave enough about Rachel from Rachel Events. It was a blessing that we ended up with her and I couldn't imagine anybody else doing a better job!

Meg was such a blessing to work with during our year engagement. We were married at my husband's parent's lake house. We basically had a blank canvas to work with. Meg had plenty of suggestions and vendor recommendations. It was a relief knowing I didn't have to do a ton of research on my own. Meg did a fantastic job the day of our wedding. She kicked some serious butt getting all the vendors in and out. She really felt like one of the guests by the end of the night and I'm so glad she was there to handle everything. Rachel and Co. were amazing. We contacted Rachel through our venue’s recommendation in Dallas and she was very flexible and customized our package to the items that we really needed. We worked with Rachel for over a year getting recommendations for decorations, etc. and she helped us to pick out everything. You see, we had never been to a same-sex ceremony, so we really didn’t know how to plan one. Rachel embraced it as a way to create new trends that I’m sure will be copied by all of our same-sex couples. She had no hesitation working with us to make sure we had the best (and fun) experience we could. We even made her get copied on all of our decoration emails so she could approve what we were about to order (and how much we needed, etc.) which was something that two guys really needed!

The day of the ceremony – it rained and we had planned to have the ceremony outside. With less than a hour to prep, she had moved everything inside and we had the ceremony inside which turned out to be even better than if we had done it outside. Every time I saw her, she was directing someone to do something and I just sat back and thought this was the best investment I could have made. She even packed up everything for us and had it ready to go at the end of the night.

I would highly recommend Rachel for any wedding/ceremony/party, etc. She has extensive experience with same-sex ceremonies so I would highly recommend her if you are trying to find someone to plan your ceremony. She was fun to work with, our guests loved her, we used all of her venders, and it was overall a great experience and a great ceremony that people are still talking about.

I didn't think I needed a coordinator when I first started planning my wedding, but Rachel Events came highly recommended to me from my best friend and her cousin who both used Rachel Events coordinators. I worked with Sarah Allen from Rachel Events for my wedding and I could not be more pleased! I am a very detail oriented, planning oriented person, but when it comes to your wedding day you can't be everywhere at once! This is why I am so thankful that I had Sarah to guide me. She exceeded my expectations in every way and was at all times calm, professional and attentive. I can't imagine how I would have gotten through my last month of planning, much less the day of without her. When it came to the morning of my wedding I felt calm, rested and ready for anything, which is more than most brides can say. I can't help but credit part of this to Sarah!

Rachel Events was my saving grace. I planned my wedding from New Mexico because my fiancé is stationed here. Rachel Events assisted with everything that I needed to make my wedding perfect. Therefore, my wedding was everything and more. From decorations to planning the reception was absolutely perfect. Rachel and Sarah were absolutely amazing!! Every vendor Rachel suggested was professional and fabulous. She made the entire planning process seem so effortless and easy. Everything was so smooth and perfect the day of the wedding. Rachel made the process enjoyable, easy, and helped my family and I maintain our sanity. My review is coming from the experience of the sister of the bride and maid of honor:
My oldest sister had interviews with a few wedding planners in Dallas during summer of 2012. Rachel Leuck was the first planner she met, and instantly my sister chose her. If you are thinking "well how did your sister know she was the best planner for her when she didn't meet others?"...let me just say, Rachel was not just the best planner for my sister but also will be the best planner for you. She is very open minded and will speak to you as though you've known each other for years. She wants you to feel comfortable around her. Honestly, every wedding planner can sell themselves through an interview, but Rachel wasn't an act...she followed through everything the bride wanted and though she has a wonderful, genuine charisma about her...she knows when she needs to be fierce. Her direct and strong-headed side was never towards my sister or our guests, it was to fellow workers in order for everyone to make the wedding perfect for my sister. Rachel is a professional and was always on top of her game. I am only 21 and am no where near marriage yet, however I know who I will be calling when my big day comes. For all the brides who have a vision of their dream wedding, Rachel Leuck is the person to share that vision with...she WILL make it come true.

I hired Rachel from the beginning and she just has this upbeat energy that you need by your side planning such a big event!
During the whole engagement she was always responsive to emails and text. I planned the wedding from California and whenever I was in town she would set meetings back to back to make sure my trip wasn't wasted! She also has a great vision for our wedding, just tell her what you want and she can help put the details together. I'm a control freak so it was hard to trust someone else to handle the wedding but she handled everything so perfectly.
During the wedding I pretty much stayed out of the loop of all the setup going on. I found out from my friends that there were some hiccups that happened and Rachel was there to fix it before anything went wrong! Our groomsmen even tore his pants and she came to the room to sew it herself! During the whole reception Rachel and her team took care of everything! Made sure I was okay, that we were doing things we wanted on schedule, helped us cut our cake, found my missing toasting glasses, ETC!!! She has advice on little details you should do during your wedding that you wouldn't even think of!
Hiring Rachel and her team for my wedding was definitely the best choice and would definitely recommend her to any bride!

We were blessed with the most amazing wedding on May 5, 2012! Rachel was beyond wonderful and extremely instrumental in the planning process. Where should I start a review for Rachel at Rachel Events?

First, let me tell you that I currently live in Seattle WA but my fiance is from Dallas TX and I am from Louisiana. Our families and most of our friends are there so naturally we wanted to have our wedding at HOME. Problem was that I needed someone that I could trust to take my vision and run with it. I would need someone to be my eyes and ears, someone to pretty much plan EVERYTHING because it just wouldn't be possible for me to fly in from Seattle every time there were flower arrangements that needed to be approved or a cake that needed to be tasted. I found Rachel Events online and called right away. I told her that she would have to be my "go to person" for all things wedding, and she said she could do it! I now know that it must have been destiny or fate...


Rachel Events went above and beyond for us, and they were worth every single penny! Rachel Events was the very first vendor we booked; Rachel and the Rachel Events team were the most amazing source of information and support. The consistent positive attitude, passion and excitement were infectious. Rachel made the wedding planning experience enjoyable. Her attention to detail and wealth of knowledge is invaluable with suggestions of themes, colors, decor, food, and even attire. Rachel not only listened to my ideas, she also heard me. Rachel and her team managed to take my thoughts and create a beautifully designed (and impeccably styled) event.

My wedding was more beautiful and enjoyable than I had ever dreamed of, and it is all because of the dedication and hard work of Rachel Events. They are committed, talented, and made sure that every single aspect of our wedding weekend ran smoothly and perfectly. Guests are still talking about how beautiful and amazing the entire event was.

We hired Rachel as our Day of Coordinator after she posted a special rate on her blog. I had been going back and forth about the practicality of spending precious wedding money on a planner or DOC, but her discount tipped the scales. From the moment we signed the contract, I knew we had made the right choice. Rachel was extremely valuable throughout wedding planning, providing not only vendor recommendations but also general advice and help when we ran into problems with bad vendors. We didn't always go with a vendor from Rachel's list, but it was so helpful to have her suggestions as back-up or as barometers for what we should expect.

While most of our decoration elements were a collaboration between myself, the Atrium staff and Di Fiori, Rachel executed our final details perfectly and went above and beyond perfecting the lobby with our extra decorations. I have no doubt that this woman is creative. Rachel is also ferocious in her loyalty to her clients and has an unmatched problem solving attitude. She coordinated the rehearsal, vendors, and wedding day schedule with authority and still managed to get out on the dance floor during the Cupid Shuffle. End the end, Rachel Events is worth every penny.

Rachel was the best thing that could have happened to my wedding! She was responsive, creative, organized, and more than anything very fun and easy to talk to. I could email her about anything and she would either take care of it or point me to a great resource. I was not stressed out at all on my wedding day (how many brides can say that?!) and even have a friend who immediately hired Rachel after seeing how smoothly my wedding went. Kate did a quality job of organizing our wedding the day of. She was all over the place putting people where they needed to be and addressing family members that needed certain information. She was very assertive, which helped move things smoothly and promptly, just as we wanted.
As a team, Rachel and Kate were responsive and flexible with their time. It was apparent that they are both very busy, as our initial meeting with them seemed a bit rushed, but I was appreciative that they took the time to listen to specific details that were important to me. Overall, I felt like they did a quality job and were professional.

We hired Rachel for her day of coordination services, which is really much more like a month of coordination package. She was absolutely INVALUABLE for me as a bride planning from out of town; the majority of our vendors were booked through her recommendations and all of her vendors were wonderful!

Rachel was always upbeat, excited, and I truly believe that kind of positive energy around you is exactly what a bride needs on your wedding day. She kept the entire day running smoothly and my new husband and I are still in awe of our wedding day and how much we and our guests enjoyed it. With her handling any problems that arose, we were free to enjoy the moment. We even had a friend of the family comment that, "I don't know what you paid her, but she was worth every penny!"

Bottom line: no matter what your wedding vision is, Rachel can and will make it happen. She is hands down some of the best wedding money we spent and I would do it again in a heartbeat. She's awesome!
