Seeing the final of the Best Play competition was a special treat. The free food and alcohol at that specific performance was icing on the cake. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Wonderful actors for community theater and clever musical adaptation for actors who do not sing.

The most polished local theatre productions that easily rival off-Broadway -- and for a far more reasonable price. Shows are a must-see.

Cozy and quaint performing space tucked away in the remote reaches of theatrical enjoyment. Recommended for getting away from "it all" and being transported to another time, another place. Move over Rod S.

Dedicated cast and crew make each show feel as if it is a personal performance especially when coupled with such a wonderful theatre that doesn't have a bad seat in the house. The broad selection of plays from classics to experimental adds to the appeal of TheatreWorks. Having been a patron for 25 years, I still look forward to each new season. Also, it was at TheatreWorks where I saw my future wife performing on stage and fell in love with her – that's how good the shows are! More...

The set lighting is brilliant, yet it is the ensemble acting that creates the electricity in this marvelous production. In the end Proof is more about magic and love than the frail abstractions that obsess the characters.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Careful selection of the play list, keeping your audience in mind is the key to keeping the dance floor active. Careful mixing of cutting edge and old favorites will keep a multi-generational gathering on its feet. But more focused groups need more focused selections. Keeping your guests taste in mind is the key.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We look to have a great event. That means a spirit of cooperation between all of our staff and any other service professionals at your event. After all, you and your guests want to be having fun. We seek to be alert and responsive, but no invasive. If we are doing it right, our guiding hand shouldn't be evident.
What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
Our specialty is pho-magazine covers. Ever dreamed of being on the cover of Time or Rolling Stone? Perhaps your more a sport illustrated fan? We supply the props and covers. You supply your imagination. We have a wide range of covers from news magazines, to sports, to hobbies, etc. Now's your chance to make "headlines."
What photo booth props do you offer?
We bring along sporting equipment, costume pieces, and other props to help your imagination and bring fun to your photo.
How long have you been interested in magic?
I've been "in the craft" for over 50 years. Starting at an early age, I've toured in the United States and Europe.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
For information about our shows check out Rabbat Productions, Sleight of Mind, and Gale Alexander. You'll find descriptions and examples of your shows there.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A single word, spontaneity. Usually, the best photos show a spontaneous moment that would be hard to stage. Not that planning isn't a part, but there is something that happens, a chemistry, that adds that final spark that can make the image jump off the page.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The most important question is why are you holding this event? What is your goal? Are you celebrating an occasion or accomplishment? Seeking brand recognition? Announcing a new product? Seeking to build your prospect list? Your goals will shape your event.
What do you love most about your job?
Interacting with people, watching the look of surprise and delight they find in the experiences they have when they are with us. That is what really makes my job special.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A professor of mine in graduate school, who taught small business administration. He had started a fuel oil company with a truck, a storage tank, and some oil. He drove that truck all over town. Didn't have any customers, but drove all over town. Pretty soon people said, "You must be doing quite a business. I see your truck ??? ???? ????." He told me that if anybody told him now that they could build a successful business that way he would call them crazy. After turning in our final projects, he told me I was the only B+ out of a class of As, but that if he had money to go into business with one of his students, I would be the one. He saw the rest a middle managers, but thought I would be the one to have my own business. I decided not to die with the magic in me. That was over 30 years ago. My business grew as clients asked me to coordinate other talent and services for their events. I developed a reputation for delivering what I promise and treating people fairly. And I enjoy helping people find creative ways to bring their visions alive.
Why should our clients choose you?
There are a lot of pat answers to this question, but relationship is what really counts. Like picking a doctor, lawyer, or other professional, you need to have confidence in your planning partner and their ability to help you. I once ended a meeting with a client to find that they were leaving on a six week vacation and were to return the day before the event. When I expressed surprise, she responded "I'm not concerned. I know you'll do it right." This is the kind of confidence we strive to inspire in all of our clients.
