What makes a great website?
Consistency across pages. Quality design that reflects the character of your company and its products/services. Simple navigation. Enough information to generate a response but no so much that your prospective client/customer becomes bewildered and leaves.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your ultimate goal? Who is your target audience? Where do you see your company in relationship to your direct competitors? How should you be positioned against your competitors—the quality leader, the most advanced technology, the best service, the value-leader? Clarity here is important to effectively develop a successful component of your branding effort.
Describe your creative process.
First thing to know is that creativity is highly subjective—you know, the old adage: beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We work directly with you at each stage of the creative process—it should never be: here are 3 "logos," pick one. Rather the design process is a series of successive approximations until we get the end result where you need it to be.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We need a clear statement of what you need, the budget available and a time-frame in which work must be completed. Let's talk money. We will never be the least expensive option for you. What we want to be is the most cost-effective one. Its more than just "you get what you pay for." It is about getting genuinely professional and quality results.
What do you love most about your job?
The creativity. It is always a challenge and no two projects are ever alike. It take artistic talent combined with an in-depth understanding of your company/products as well as insight into the marketing process to produce an exceptional end result.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to have more fun in my work. To do this I at the age of 40, I chucked out the window 4 years of college, 4 years of graduate work as well as additional academic and practical programs and a successful and respected career to do what I absolutely love to do: create.
