Food is ok. Service is great. I should have ordered the lobster special since dish I ordered was almost the same price for mediocre food.

Every single thing we ordered was incredible! Started with the Crab Hushpuppies, amazing! So good, we ordered another one. Among our group we enjoyed the Seafood Stew (longtime favorite and all-time favorite entree) and Fish Tacos. The latter were the best I've ever had, truly!! The kids had Mac and cheese and pasta w/marinara. They both thought their meals were the they ever had too, lol.We loved the outdoor table, the friendly atmosphere and excellent service. More...

Looks like a dive bar but has a great deal of character . The service was great and the apps and entrees were outstanding. Thumbs up to the grilled lobster app, steamed bake lobster and the paella. I will go back before we leave town! More...

The manager ruined our experience. Not empathetic to people with disabilities.

The food was very good and our server was excellent. However, the manager was so awful to us that unfortunately we will not return. Here is what transpired:My husband is disabled and waited in line for the bathroom for 10 minutes. He found out there was an empty bathroom on the other side and made a comment to the manager that it would have been nice if someone told him about the second bathroom. This man was just too busy counting cash and didn't have time to explain anything. He could care less that my husband couldn't actually stand for the 10 minutes he waited for the bathroom. Not only didn't he have empathy, instead he followed my husband back to our table and was literally on his heels. This is what I witnessed. He then screamed at my husband and told him never to return? Are you kidding me? Is this how you treat your paying customers?I than went over to this horrible man and tried to explain how he CANNOT STAND. He didn't want to hear it. He was too busy telling the young staff members how he told this man off. He had no consideration for someone who couldn't walk well or stand. He was actually bullying my husband by walking on his heels all the way back to our table. This I saw with my own eyes and I will never return to your restaurant or recommend it. We have lived in SH for years but this have lost our recommendation and our business. It's actually very disturbing how there wasn't any understanding or empathy for the disabled. Shame on him. One of our go-to's at the shore. We stopped going regularly a few years ago as we felt the quality of food had begun to suffer. Then two years ago, after the ownership closed their restaurant in Cape May, Quahog's really stepped it up again. There's a ton that we like on the menu and we order different dishes most times that we go but I almost always order the fish special, whatever it is. The bar is a great addition and it brings a different dimension to the place. Recommend! More...

Every year my husband and I drive 45 minutes from our shore town to have dinner at Quahog. We went Thursday for margarita night. We ordered them up with salt and the came with ice. I explained to the waitress up meant no ice. She took them back and I watched her drain them. We ordered calamari to start. We got 3 pieces each. I ordered the clam bake and my husband ordered the moqueca stew. Mine came out ice cold like fresh out of the refrigerator. The waitress took it back and when she returned after a long time since my husband was just about done his meal, it was obvious it had been placed in the microwav. The bread that came with my meal was missing. Over half of my clam shells were empty and they were NOT floating in the broth. It cost us $99.00 plus tip. When we left I was hun and aggravated we will NEVER return here. More...

My basic impression was: Overrated.Nothing bad to say about the food or service or setting, but nothing outstanding either. Server was very courteous.Oysters and mac/cheese were quite adequate.Jambalaya was more of a paella, and most likely an "empty the cupboard" preparation, using up all the leftover seafood & other ingredients.Ditto the tuna quesadilla, which appeared to have been made with either canned tuna or leftover tuna cooked into submission and smothered in mayonnaise and cheese. The famous Fish Ribs were not available.Expensive, for an informal place that gets you in and out rapidly (we were out in 50 minutes flat).Again, I don't really have anything bad to say -- it's just that after all the "Top 30" publicity, Guy Fieri visit, etc, etc, they seem to be coasting.Make a reservation, or get there very early.Parking is a challenge. This place used to be great but has seriously declined in quality. I ordered clam chowder and a mahi burrito. The clam chowder, without exaggeration, was a bowl of warm milk with maybe three pieces of clam floating in it. The burrito was something you could easily get at Taco Bell if they served fish. All at a cost of over $30. Not going back. More...

Always used to love coming here but this season I was not impressed at all. Out of what we wanted but we got there when they opened, so that was weird to be out of a special upon opening. Don't advertise it then. Seafood 'bisque' was basically Marinara sauce with a morsel of crab and a sliver of shrimp. Fresh tacos has nice toppings but were made with fried fish sticks not fresh fish. The accompanying corn on the cob was prob the best part. $50 later I got to leave. Not anymore this season, going elsewhere on the island. More...

Quahog's is slightly above average for 7MI but the bar is pretty low so take that for what it's worth. Don't drift too far from the blackboard with fresh catches and you'll be okay. The fisherman's stew is good, the raw oysters are always local, drinks are fun, and the backyard is unique but the food is just....fine. Don't set your expectations too high and you won't be disappointed. OH, and don't bother to leave a message about a reservation, they mentioned there are hundreds of them on the machine and they don't even bother to listen to them. More...

This restaurant is not safe for celiacs/people with gluten issues. Ordered a meal for my daughter with celiac disease that was marked as gluten free. The food here is delicious. We try to make it here for takeout every time we're in Stone Harbor. Due to its popularity sometimes the wait times are long or you may have to wait longer than the time they quote you when you place your order. It's super small inside so you have to wait outside on the sidewalk or bench. The pricing is a bit on the high side, but it is fresh seafood in one of the shore towns that tends to draw a wealthier crowd so I get it. Plus they're trying to make enough money in 3 months to get them through the rest of the year. But might be tough to swing a large family order if on a budget. My husband and I ordered a bunch of food when we visited last summer and brought it home and had a feast! Pictured: burrito, empanadas, shrimp ceviche and a few other things (I think one was the seafood stew). The portions aren't enormous but are reasonable. I think it was around $100 for our order and it was definitely too much for 2 people, but we had leftovers the next day! More...

The chef must not have shown up for work last Friday. We received a notice an hour or so before we went to eat warning us of a "gnat problem" at the restaurant which in retrospect must have been some sort of coded warning. The food was so poorly prepared - chips of shells in the oysters (dangerous), way over-cooked seafood, the toughest pork ribs I've ever encountered - that I can only assume some amateur had to step in. The waiter was nice but was very deft about not being anywhere near us for very long once the food arrived. It seems like everyone there knew what was happening except the unwitting diners. More...

Gave me dive bar vibes, probably a great place to drink with friends. Our "outdoor" table wasn't comfortable at all and felt like we were still inside because of how dark and enclosed their patio is. So disappointed! It was my husband's birthday and we were looking forward to a nice meal. We loved celebrating special occasions at the Red Store in the past and figured we would give Quahog's a try. We had a reservation but our table wasn't ready yet so we went to the bar. The Sauvignon Blanc was not very good and there were fruit flies around the bar. The hostess first wanted to seat us at a table less than 6 inches away from another table when every other table in the bar area was open. We decided to go with small plates. Our empanadas were very good but our steamed clams and mussels had little taste. The complimentary chickpeas came with very stale saltine crackers. Not impressed at all. I LOVED the Red Store and had a very nice dining experience at Beachwood but Quahog's left me very disappointed. More...
