Such a gem! Q'Paso opened during Covid and I'm so sad that they are having to temporarily close the restaurant. They are focusing on the food truck right now. Q'Paso serves classic Latin dishes from Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Cuba, and more. I tried a vegetarian arepa, yuca, plantains, and tres leches cake. Everything is made from scratch! Everything. Kazeka, the owner said the only thing that's not is the beans. They used to make them from scratch but it was very time consuming and it didn't make sense for them to anymore.The food is fresh and flavorful and the portions are generous. The staff is pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend trying their food truck (usually at Truck & Tap in Alpharetta) until the restaurant opens! More...

BEST EMPANADAS, GLUTEN FREE These 4 words should be enough, but we'll go on.  We know food trucks and Latin food, and Q'Paso is the best of both worlds  The empanadas were absolutely amazing so get there early before they sell out. The carne asada burrito was enough for two and the platter with your choice of chicken, carve asada, or pork, was served with rice, beans, and plantains was another excellent dish. More...

Yum, yum, yum!This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away without street exposure and with COVID and being brand new, the place was dead. It wasn't because of the food!! The pork arepa "La Lechona" was so flavorful and the perfect plate with carne asada was tender and delicious. We also got a guava and cheese pastry that was flake, hot and awesome.They also have a food truck that I will be looking for in the future. I've been to Q'Paso twice since they opened. I was so thrilled to have a new fast casual spot near my house. Â Unfortunately, I can't say many positive things about either of my experiences. The first visit I tried the arepa. Â It was small and not very flavorful. Â I believe I got the beef. Â I also tried an empanada and it was nothing special. Â I wil say the tostones and tequenos were good and fresh.On my second visit, I tried the cuban sandwich. Â It is not at all traditional. Â It had ham and shredded chicken, very few pickles and wasn't very pressed. Â It was also quite expensive for just a sandwich.I was told it didn't come with any sides, so I added an order of plantains. Â When I got home I discovered it apparently did come with plantains, so I had those plus the side order I paid for. Â A waste of $5. (plus they weren't very good).My last, and biggest, complaint is that during both visits, I did not observe a single employee wearing a mask. This is a brand new Latin Grub spot, it's about 41 minutes from Canton to Alpharetta and well worth the drive.  I had the pleasure of  enjoying a Cuban sandwich made hot from the grill with plantain, and Jarritios Lime soda.  Yummy!  It's been a hot minute since I have enjoyed a Cuban sandwich on plat bread with ham, pulled pork, and pickles.  Brought back some good memories of the Caribbean.  The restaurant is new with flashy silver metal tables and chairs. Brightly painted walls and salsa music to dance to.  The staff is so very charming and excited about service g everyone that stops by.  I am giving five stars for location, food, staff, friendliness, and atmosphere.  If you can't make it to them - they have a food truck too.  You might be able to find them out on the roads.  Thank you Kazakh for the delicious lunch More...

Very good food. I got an arepa which I've never had before. It was delicious and gluten free! There are actually a lot of gluten free options which is always a nice surprise. My husband got a Cuban and really enjoyed it. I got the plantains as a side which are my favorite. They were delicious. We weren't huge fans of the yuca fries but I think they maybe just didn't travel well as I did carry out. Also we always love a jaritos so I love that they carry them. FINALLY - REAL AREPAS!!! I've been to several places to get some REAL AREPAS and have always been disappointed, but NOT ANYMORE! Q'Paso has the BEST Arepas I've ever had! They are authentic in size, ingredients, AND flavor! It was so good and filling! You know you love something the moment you take one bite and you can't seem to stop taking more bites until it's all gone! I also got the Yuca Fritas. I just love yuccas with all my heart, these were so good and freshly fried! And also got the taco sampler. Nice corn tortillas fully stuffed with savory meat! And last but not least, I got the loaded plantains. I'll have to come back for the loaded tostones some other time, because apparently I ordered enough food to like 5 people, and there were only 2 of us. haha! Great pricing, beyond generous portions, & authentic size and flavor!!!! I'm coming back next week FOR SURE! More...
