What a great meal! Appetizers, entrees, and dessert all built up into a climax of flavor that I am sure my coworkers are tired of hearing me rave about. When your server tells you to try the bread pudding, do it, even if you're not a fan of it. This is not what you expect...it's much, much better. And do yourself a flavor and order the Roasted Cauliflower side. I'm a carnivore and firmly believe I didn't climb my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables, but the flavors in this dish are so perfectly concocted you just have to try it. Local Restaurant review. Pyre on hwy 21 Covington Menu is very unique. Nothing else like it in the area. Head chef Justin opened this up after working as chef in Nola for years. Food delivery time was very quick but quality was through the roof. Usually not so for most business. Wood fired squash side was lick the bowl quality I had Cantonese ribs. Had a reduction bbq sauce that was literally hard not to lick fingers in public Laura had the porchetta: pork belly stuffed and roasted for two days, tied then flat smashed upon reheat for serving. Slap grandmas three times that’s how good that was. In 51 years I’ve had close 53 thousand meals. I’m so glad this is literally a block from my house. Went to Pyre last night. OMG so delicious! If you are a meat eater, there are so many options! But guess what? Their veggies (if you are trying to eat plant based) are FIRE! So so delicious. The roasted cauliflower was amazinggggg! So were the smoked sweet potatoes, and the brussels sprouts were to die for! Seriously so happy with their vegetable selections!! The drinks are so fun too!
